Sustainable development goals (SDGs) is blueprint for peace and prosperity for people and the planet, now and into the future. SDGs is an agenda to be reach at 2030 with 17 goals. Sustainable Development Goals is officially adopted by 193 members state of United Nation since September 2015. Indonesia is involved in those 193 members state. Since 1950, Indonesia was admitted as 60th  member state of United Nations. As the United Nation member state, Indonesia actively adopted the Sustainable Development  Goals.  How ever  Indonesia still have to face  gender stereotype in all aspects with the indicators of religion, ethnic, sex, culture and others. It has strong relationship with patriarchy culture. This research is aims to know how the gender stereotype affected the sustainable development goals in Indonesia. The author use qualitative research method by compile the secondary data and analyzing through thematic analysis approach. The result shows that five from 17 goals has stereotype from society in every single goal. The background reason of stereotype is come from culture, behavior, religion, ethnic and other social reason.

Countries worldwide pledged to achieve the targets of Sustainable Development Goals (SDG) introduced by the United Nation (UN) by the year 2030. Malaysia, amongst other developing countries, may need to focus on the localisation of the UN SDG led by women representatives, to ensure its success. This research aims to illustrate some of the many strengths that this country has, in achieving the successful localisation of the SDG, which is the existing knowledge of the SDG, and evidence of exhibited commitments to SDG related activities by selected women in focus group studies. Findings from a questionnaire distributed to 628 women representatives in Malaysia suggests substantiated SDG localisation efforts and prioritised goals according to the locality. With further examination on other strengths and weaknesses in the future, this research justifies reasons in entrusting women local leaders to ensure the successful implementation of the UN SDG in Malaysia and to be made a model for similar developing nations of the world.

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk memahami global partnership menggunakan pandangan Liberal Intstitusionalisme. United Nations (UN) dan SOS Children’s Villages International (SOS CVI) sabagai aktor yang terlibat berusaha untuk mengakhiri kekerasan terhadap anak-anak di dunia. UN dan SOS CVI menjalin kemtraan global ini bertujuan untuk memperluas jangkauan dampak dari program Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) yang dijalankan sehingga tingkat kekerasan terhadap anak-anak bisa diakhiri. Metode penelitian kualitatif digunakan karena objek penelitian yang akan dikaji bersifat deskriptif dan cenderung menggunakan analisis. Hasil dari penelitian ini membantu para stakeholder ataupun INGO memahami dan menganalisa setiap potensi program yang mereka jalankan hingga bisa terus berkembang. Tentunya bisa memberikan hasil yang baik bagi masyarakat dan mendorong terciptanya sumber daya manusia yang mampu memudahkan terwujudnya tujuan dari pembangunan berkelanjutan (SDGs). Oleh karena itu, perlindungan untuk anak-anak dari segala bentuk kekerasan adalah hak fundamental yang dijamin oleh Konvensi Hak Anak (UNCRC) dan perjanjian serta standar HAM internasional lainnya. Kesamaan kepentingan (Mutual Interest) antara United Nations (UN) dan SOS Children’s Villages Internasional (SOS CVI), usaha advokasi dari SOS CVI untuk menumbuhkan awareness bagi masyarakat dunia malalui berbagai macam kampanye, serta penelitian-penelitian yang dilakukan oleh SOS CVI bertujuan untuk menghilangkan rasa kecurigaan antar Negara. Maka hal ini yang mendorong United Nations (UN) menjadikan SOS Children’s Villages International (SOS CVI) sebagai kemitraan globalnya.

After millennium development goals end it terms in 2015, members of United Nation agree to create new sustainable development goals (SDGs). The media are endorsed and needed to involve in the implementation of SDGs. Moreover, media in all its forms has a crucial role to play in the development agenda to ensure that citizens are well informed. The media has important roles to play, to inform, to educate, and to provide a platform for public debate and discussion. The media could serve as catalyst for citizens’ empowerment and help to hold government and authorities to account. This study focuses on how media deal with its agenda setting in order to spread the information of SDGs to wider public. Based on theoretical assumption of the study, this study examines the media coverage of SDGs in 2017/2018; how SDGs has been understood and framed by media. By using a sequential mixed-method, this study applies quantitative approach to analyze all articles on SDGs. The qualitative approach is conducted to explore deeper insight of SDGs understanding from news management. This study found that not all SDGs are informed well. Only several SDGs are framed based on the concern of public policy.

This article takes a look and survey of the approaches in interior design possibilities and expressions in applying the use and particular structural qualities of bamboo. This particular material has gained much interest due to its quality of being rapidly replenishable, thus allowing it as an alternative to more depleting resources such as timber and other materials. The paper focuses on the higher applications of bamboo and the recent corporate space design and its typological function gain from the application of bamboo as an interior design strategy and aesthetics. With the move by the United Nation on having 17th initiatives under Sustainable Development Goals (SGDs), this study will discuss further how bamboo could be improving the quality of life in the countries with the tropical climate where bamboo vastly grown and reliable as one sustainable material in construction of structure outdoor, indoor and also to be used widely in arts & craftsmanship in the region.

Abstract. Economic changes in the context of globalization have left adolescents from Latin American contexts with few opportunities to make satisfactory transitions into adulthood. Recent studies indicate that there is a protracted period between the end of schooling and entering into formal working activities. While in this “limbo,” illicit activities, such as drug trafficking may emerge as an alternative for young people to ensure their social participation. This article aims to deepen the understanding of Brazilian youth’s involvement in drug trafficking and its intersection with their schooling, work, and aspirations, connecting with Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) 4 and 16 as proposed in the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development adopted by the United Nations in 2015 .
