Nonlinear multiplexing holography emerges as a powerful tool to produce structured lights at new wavelengths. In this work, we propose and experimentally demonstrate an angle-multiplexing nonlinear holography in an angular noncritical phase-matching configuration. In experiment, various types of structured light beams, such as vortex beam, Airy beam and Airy vortex beam, are simultaneously output at second-harmonic waves along different paths. Because of the large angular acceptance bandwidth of noncritical phase-matching, one can achieve high conversion efficiency of angle-multiplexing nonlinear holography. Our method has potentially applications in high-capacity holographic storage and security encryption.

The inhomogeneities induced in the process of second harmonic generation (SHG) in collimated light beams (Rw > 1) of Gaussian nature is studied for O + e → e type interactions. The coherence length lc and phase matching conditions Δk change considerably and degrade harmonic conversion efficiency. The results are obtained in terms of τD (dimensionless temperature), Rw (collimation), and ξF (field variable) in the near field (NF) and far fields (FF) respectively. This work extends previous work on inhomogeneity mismatch on plane-wave approximations for O + O → e interactions.

For RbTiOPO4 (RTP) crystal, the second harmonic generation (SHG) properties of 1064nm are discussed, including phase matching (PM) direction, effective nonlinear optical coefficient (deff), walk-off angle, and angular acceptance. For the frequency doubling of nano-second and pico-second Nd:YAG laser, the conversion efficiency of RTP crystal can reach 51 % and 57 %, respectively. The laser damage threshold of RTP crystal is measured.

AbstractIn this paper we present a design of a compact, low power diode-pumped CW Nd:YAG laser operating at 946 nm with intracavity blue light generation at 473 nm for battery operated applications. The nonlinear crystal used in the experiment is a BiBO crystal cut for phase-matching type I. Using 0.8 W of pumping power, 20-mW stabile output power of blue light was achieved. The second harmonic generation conversion efficiency was 2.5%.
