In this paper, we researched some dynamical behaviors of a stochastic predator–prey system, which is considered under the combination of Crowley–Martin functional response and stage structure. First, we obtained the existence and uniqueness of the global positive solution of the system. Then, we studied the stochastically ultimate boundedness of the solution. Furthermore, we established two sufficient conditions, which are separately given to ensure the stochastic extinction of the prey and predator populations. In the end, we carried out the numerical simulations to explain some cases.

The authors introduce stochasticity into a predator-prey system with Beddington-DeAngelis functional response and stage structure for predator. We present the global existence and positivity of the solution and give sufficient conditions for the global stability in probability of the system. Numerical simulations are introduced to support the main theoretical results.

In this paper, a predator-prey system with Holling type II functional response and stage structure is investigated. By analyzing the corresponding characteristic equations, the local stability of each of feasible equilibria of the system is studied. The existence of the orbitally asymptotically stable periodic solution is established. By using suitable Lyapunov functions and the LaSalle invariance principle, it is proven that the predator-extinction equilibrium is globally asymptotically stable when the coexistence equilibrium is not feasible, and sufficient conditions are derived for the global stability of the coexistence equilibrium.

We propose and study the permanence of the following periodic Holling III predator-prey system with stage structure for prey and both two predators which consume immature prey. Sufficient and necessary conditions which guarantee the predator and the prey species to be permanent are obtained.

A stage-structured three-species predator-prey model with Beddington-DeAngelis and Holling II functional response is introduced. Based on the comparison theorem, sufficient and necessary conditions which guarantee the predator and the prey species to be permanent are obtained. An example is also presented to illustrate our main results.

The dynamical behaviors of a diffusive predator–prey model with Beddington–DeAngelis functional response and disease in the prey is considered in this work. By applying the comparison principle, linearized method, Lyapunov function and iterative method, we are able to achieve sufficient conditions of the permanence, the local stability and global stability of the boundary equilibria and the positive equilibrium, respectively. Our result complements and supplements some known ones.

AbstractIn this paper, we investigate the dynamical behaviors of a fractional-order predator–prey with Holling type IV functional response and its discretized counterpart. First, we seek the local stability of equilibria for the fractional-order model. Also, the necessary and sufficient conditions of the stability of the discretized model are achieved. Bifurcation types (include transcritical, flip and Neimark–Sacker) and chaos are discussed in the discretized system. Finally, numerical simulations are executed to assure the validity of the obtained theoretical results.

Abstract In this paper, we consider a Beddington-DeAngelis predator-prey system with stage structure for predator and time delay incorporating prey refuge. By analyzing the characteristic equations, we study the local stability of the equilibrium of the system. Using the delay as a bifurcation parameter, the model undergoes a Hopf bifurcation at the coexistence equilibrium when the delay crosses some critical values. After that, by constructing a suitable Lyapunov functional, sufficient conditions are derived for the global stability of the system. Finally, the influence of prey refuge on densities of prey species and predator species is discussed.

In this paper, a predator-prey system with functional response is studied, and a set of sufficient conditions are obtained for the stability of equilibrium point of the system. Moreover, optimal harvesting policy is obtained by using the maximal principle, and numerical simulation is applied to illustrate the correctness.

Based on the biological resource management of natural resources, a stage-structured predator-prey model with Holling type III functional response, birth pulse, and impulsive harvesting at different moments is proposed in this paper. By applying comparison theorem and some analysis techniques, the global attractivity of predator-extinction periodic solution and the permanence of this system are studied. At last, examples and numerical simulations are given to verify the validity of the main results.
