Reducing heat leakage is crucial for the development of practical superconducting devices. In this work, orthogonal experimental design method is first used to optimize the design of hundred-ampere and kiloampere Peltier current leads (PCLs). Geometry and arrangement of Peltier materials and conductive materials of the current lead are analyzed. Through our simulation, we find that the coupling effect between the radius of Bi2Te3 (r2) and the length of Bi2Te3 (L2) has the greatest effect on the heat leakage of PCLs at the cold end for both PCLs. Furthermore, numerical simulations suggest that the lowest heat leakage at the cold end (approximately 30.0 W/kA) is at the same level for both hundred-ampere and kiloampere PCLs. If taking the heat dissipation area at the hot end into account, multiterminal solutions are better solutions for kiloampere current leads.

The parameters of the dual slot die in an industrial melt blowing equipment are designed optimally using the orthogonal experimental design method. The air flow fields of different die parameters are simulated. Effects of the die parameters are analyzed using variance analysis. The results show that the inset distance and slot width have significant effects on the air flow field while effect of the slot angle is unremarkable.

We had studied using single factor and orthogonal experimental design method for extracted from actinidia arguta of wild fructification polyphenols conditions optimization, as actinidia arguta of wild raw material. The results showed that: extracted from actinidia arguta of wild fructification polyphenols optimization the best conditions is acetone solution of 30 percent, according to the solid-liquid ratio of 1:9, at 35°C, the extraction 30 min best, the amount of polyphenols extracted 763.8 mg / L.

In this paper, using chemical degumming method on corn bract fiber degumming experiment, in order to find a more suitable degumming process of corn bracts and to realize the development and utilization of corn bract fiber. "Pre-oxygen pretreatment + Two scouring" chemical degumming method was used, and the optimal combination of process parameters was found out by using orthogonal experimental design method. Optimal pretreatment parameters: H2O2 6g/L, Pre-treatment time 30min, Temperature 40°C; Two Scouring optimal parameter combinations: NaOH 16g/L, Temperature 80 °C, Scouring time 150min.
