The novel delay-dependent asymptotic stability of a differential and Riemann-Liouville fractional differential neutral system with constant delays and nonlinear perturbation is studied. We describe the new asymptotic stability criterion in the form of linear matrix inequalities (LMIs), using the application of zero equations, model transformation and other inequalities. Then we show the new delay-dependent asymptotic stability criterion of a differential and Riemann-Liouville fractional differential neutral system with constant delays. Furthermore, we not only present the improved delay-dependent asymptotic stability criterion of a differential and Riemann-Liouville fractional differential neutral system with single constant delay but also the new delay-dependent asymptotic stability criterion of a differential and Riemann-Liouville fractional differential neutral equation with constant delays. Numerical examples are exploited to represent the improvement and capability of results over another research as compared with the least upper bounds of delay and nonlinear perturbation.

This paper is concerned with the asymptotic stability analysis for a class of neutral systems with time-delay and saturating actuators, which is further to reduce the conservatism of neutral system. Based on the model transformation and the delay-dividing approach, a new type of augmented Lyapunov functional is constructed, which has fully exploited the information on the lower bound of the delay. Then the delay-dependent conditions for asymptotic stability are derived by applying some integral inequalities and Lyapunov theory. Finally, numerical examples are provided to show that the proposed results significantly improve the allowed upper bounds of the delay size over some existing ones in the literature.

This paper investigates the robust delay-dependent stability problem for neutral system with mixed delays and nonlinear perturbations. A delay decomposition approach is used in this paper in which the information of the delayed plant states can be taken into full consideration. Then, based on a special Lyapunov functional approach, the novel delay-dependent stability criteria are obtained in terms of linear matrix inequalities (LMIs). A numerical example illustrates the effectiveness of the derived method and the improvement over some existing methods.

This paper is concerned with delay-dependent stability for continuous systems with two additive time-varying delay components. By constructing a new class of Lyapunov functional and using a new convex polyhedron method, a new delay-dependent stability criterion is derived in terms of linear matrix inequalities. The obtained stability criterion is less conservative than some existing ones. Finally, numerical examples are given to illustrate the effectiveness of the proposed method.

The delay-dependent resilient robust finite-timeL2-L∞control problem of uncertain neutral time-delayed system is studied. The disturbance input is assumed to be energy bounded and the time delays are time-varying. Based on the Lyapunov function approach and linear matrix inequalities (LMIs) techniques, a state feedback controller is designed to guarantee that the resulted closed-loop system is finite-time bounded for all uncertainties and to satisfy a givenL2-L∞constraint condition. Simulation results illustrate the validity of the proposed approach.

This paper is concerned with the delay-dependent stability of systems with distributed time-varying delays. The novelty relies on the use of some new inequalities which are less conservative than some existing inequalities. A less conservative stability criterion is obtained by constructing some new augmented Lyapunov–Krasovskii functionals, which are given in terms of linear matrix inequalities. The effectiveness of the presented criterion is demonstrated by two numerical examples.

The problem of delay-dependent robust stability of uncertain stochastic systems with time-varying delay is discussed in this paper. Based on the Lyapunov-Krasovskii theory and free-weighting matrix technique, new delay-dependent stability criterion is presented. The criterion is in terms of linear matrix inequality (LMI) which can be solved by various available algorithms.

In this paper, we consider the problem of delay-dependent stability of a class of Lur’e systems of neutral type with time-varying delays and sector-bounded nonlinearity using Lyapunov–Krasovskii (LK) functional approach. By using a candidate LK functional in the stability analysis, a less conservative absolute stability criterion is derived in terms of linear matrix inequalities (LMIs). In addition to the LK functional, conservatism in the proposed stability analysis is further reduced by imposing tighter bounding on the time-derivative of the functional without neglecting any useful terms using minimal number of slack matrix variables. The proposed analysis, subsequently, yields a stability criterion in convex LMI framework, and is solved nonconservatively at boundary conditions using standard LMI solvers. The effectiveness of the proposed criterion is demonstrated through a standard numerical example and Chua’s circuit.

The global robust asymptotic stability of bi-directional associative memory (BAM) neural networks with constant or time-varying delays is studied. An approach combining the Lyapunov-Krasovskii functional with the linear matrix inequality (LMI) is taken to study the problem. Some a criteria for the global robust asymptotic stability, which gives information on the delay-dependent property, are derived. Some illustrative examples are given to demonstrate the effectiveness of the obtained results.

The problem of bounded-input bounded-output (BIBO) stability is investigated for a class of delay switched systems with mixed time-varying discrete and constant neutral delays and nonlinear perturbation. Based on the Lyapunov-Krasovskii functional theory, new BIBO stabilization criteria are established in terms of delay-dependent linear matrix inequalities. The numerical simulation is carried out to demonstrate the effectiveness of the results obtained in the paper.

This paper deals with the problem of delay-dependent stability criterion of arbitrary switched linear systems with time-varying delay. Based on switched quadratic Lyapunov functional approach and free-weighting matrix approach, some linear matrix inequality criterions are found to guarantee delay-dependent asymptotically stability of these systems. Simultaneously, arbitrary switched linear system can be expressed as a problem of uncertain liner system, so some delay-dependent stability criterions are obtained with the result of uncertain liner system. Two examples illustrate the exactness of the proposed criterions.
