The emerging market is currently witnessing the active development of online shopping. This study was conducted to analyze the key factors affecting the intention of customers to purchase in Vietnam. This study is conducted by two methods, including "secondary research method" and "quantitative method" for research. Firstly, the author uses the "secondary research method" to refer to previous academic sources for this research. Secondly, the author collected a sample of 349 volunteers in Vietnam who have an understanding and interest in e-commerce. Perceived Usefulness, Perceived Ease of Use, Perceived Transaction Security are reported to have a positive relationship with online purchase intention. They are significant factors affecting the purchase intention of Vietnamese online customers. Other demographic factors can affect online shopping intention, such as age and income, so research cannot represent all customers. Businesses can use the findings to further understand about emerging markets. This trend is the basis for business managers to develop customer attraction strategies and improve the quality of online shopping services. The potential for online shopping is becoming more attractive, especially in emerging markets. This study is in line with the trend of the online shopping industry. The results of this study can help marketers understand more about customers' intentions, thereby building long-term relationships between businesses and customers.

E-commerce is an emerging market and a developing research field in Iran. The main factors influencing the Iranian consumer's intention towards shopping apparels online are of utmost importance, which the authors are aimed to study. The framework developed for accomplishing this task is created combining constructs of Trust and Perceived Risk with the Technology Acceptance Model which tries to demonstrate the relationship between those two constructs and the subcomponents of TAM including Attitude, Perceived Usefulness, and Perceived Ease of Use and the strengths of these relationships. The findings of this study illustrate the importance of Trust which is proved to have significant direct relationship with Intention and Perceived Risk which has both direct and indirect relationships with Intention. The impact of Perceived Risk is even more critical once the cultural dimension of the country put into account. It is concluded that minimizing the risk of online shopping along with maximizing the trust in this purchasing method plays a main role in adoption of online shopping.

PurposeThe purpose of this research is to study the influence of self-service technologies (SST) on cross-buying and word-of-mouth. This study tests the direct impact of perceived usefulness and perceived ease of use on cross-buying and word-of-mouth. Further, this study also tests the mediating role of e-service quality for the aforementioned relationships. The study has been undertaken in the context of retail banking in an emerging market, India.Design/methodology/approachA cross-sectional survey research design was used to collect data from 235 customers of retail banks in India. The data were analysed using IBM AMOS 23.0 taking structural equation modelling (SEM) approach to test the hypothesised relationships.FindingsThe findings of the study suggest that both perceived usefulness and perceived ease of use influence cross-buying and word-of-mouth. E-service quality partially mediates the relationship between perceived usefulness on cross-buying and word-of-mouth. E-service quality partially mediates the relationship between perceived ease of use and cross-buying but does not mediate the relationship between perceived ease of use and word-of-mouth.Practical implicationsThis study shows that managers need to focus on perceived usefulness and perceived ease of use in order to ensure cross-buying and promote word-of-mouth recommendations by customers. Also, managers will be able to enhance cross-buying and promote word-of-mouth recommendations if e-service quality delivered by the bank is perceived to be good by customers.Originality/valueThis study contributes to the literature on SST and offers empirical evidence to show that perceived usefulness and perceived ease of use can influence cross-buying as well as word-of-mouth. Previous studies have shown that SST usage can foster loyalty, and the present study offers new evidence on the outcomes of behavioural loyalty. The study has been undertaken through responses taken from retail bank customers in an emerging market. This study also contributes to the literature on SST by testing the mediating effect of e-service quality for the above-mentioned relationships.

Indonesia is one of the countries with the largest Muslim population in the world, but the level of zakat is not too high. This can be seen from the low amount of zakat that has been successful compared to the potential for zakat. In view of this fact, the Zakat Management Organization (OPZ) implements a digitalization strategy for collecting zakat funds, including the Magelang Regency. This study was conducted to understand the intention of the community/muzakki to pay zakat online. This study uses the Technology Acceptance Model (TAM) theoretical framework by adding a moderating variable to electronic word of mouth (eWOM). This study used a quantitative approach with 135 respondents. Data were collected randomly from the Internet (online). Structural equation modeling (SEM) and partial least squares (PLS) were used for data analysis. The findings of this study suggest that attitudes can be expressed by perceived ease of use, perceived usefulness, and electronic word of mouth (eWOM). Meanwhile, behavioral intention in this study proved to be reliable by electronic word of mouth (eWOM) and attitude. The results of the moderation effect test prove that electronic word of mouth (eWOM) in this study weakens the relationship between perceived ease of use (PEoU) and attitude. Electronic word of mouth (eWOM) can assess the relationship between perceived usefulness (PU) and attitudes and behavioral intentions.

Tech-friendliness in this new era is an important quotient considered and the persons’ acceptance towards the technology frequency matters a lot. But still the frequency varies from person to person, this brought in the concept of Technology Acceptance Model given by Fred Davis in 1989. The theory of TAM is based on two theories that are Theory of Reasoned Action and Theory of Planned Behavior, TAM is extended version of these two. Green Banking is a new technology introduced by the banks that focuses on the growth of Sustainable development and Banking system too. Thus, banks ask their customers to use it or practice it in their daily life transactions. But every customer has their own point of view on the usage of Green banking. Thus, the research aims to understand the customers’ perception towards the Green Banking for this TAM is used. The research states that Perceived risk is the primary factor that is followed by perceived usefulness and perceived ease of use that impacts the decision to use green banking. Thus, the behavioral intention results in actual use of green banking usage for which people are trying to accept the new technology. So, the banks have earned points for creating awareness among their customers but still they have to work hard and clarify their customers’ problems and vanish that hitch that is stopping them to use green banking easily.

This study aims to examine the factors influencing consumers' behavior intention to adopt mobile banking apps. The research uses the TAM model with additional variables such as social influence and perceived risk to evaluate how these factors impact the behavior intention of young customers toward adopting mobile banking services. PLS-SEM was used as the main research method. The findings from this paper reaffirmed that perceived usefulness and social influence are the most influential factor in behavior intention, but perceived ease of use and perceived risk showed insignificant impacts on young consumers' behavior intention in Vietnam. This paper also found that perceived ease of use had no direct impact on behavior intention but an indirect impact through facilitating perceived usefulness. This subject makes a practical and academic contribution in the context of a developing country where is lacking research in mobile banking apps.
