The understanding and empowerment of waqf assets among Muslims has undergone significant changes in both paradigm and operational practices. The development of productive waqf aims to achieve social justice and improve the welfare of people. Therefore, productive waqf has two visions at once, destroying unequal social structures and providing fertile land for the welfare of the people. This research method uses a qualitative method with a descriptive-analytical approach. The data used were secondary data, namely, literature studies or relevant previous research results. The results of his research show that waqf plays an important role as an instrument to empower the economy of the people. Waqf has played an important role in the social, economic, and cultural development of society. There are at least four basic problems with the Islamic da'wah movement. First, the problem of poverty, both in terms of the economy and limited facilities and physical needs, creates a culture of poverty. Second, the twisting of the kemikinan prompts the symptoms of underdevelopment. Third, there was an exclusive and involutive attitude. Finally, the weakness of the institutions for accommodating participation and the weakness of the cooperation mechanism to wage a systematic struggle. Thus, waqf is an alternative that is expected to provide solutions to these problems. Therefore, the optimal management of waqf objects is required.

Indonesia is one of the countries with the largest Muslim population in the world, but the level of zakat is not too high. This can be seen from the low amount of zakat that has been successful compared to the potential for zakat. In view of this fact, the Zakat Management Organization (OPZ) implements a digitalization strategy for collecting zakat funds, including the Magelang Regency. This study was conducted to understand the intention of the community/muzakki to pay zakat online. This study uses the Technology Acceptance Model (TAM) theoretical framework by adding a moderating variable to electronic word of mouth (eWOM). This study used a quantitative approach with 135 respondents. Data were collected randomly from the Internet (online). Structural equation modeling (SEM) and partial least squares (PLS) were used for data analysis. The findings of this study suggest that attitudes can be expressed by perceived ease of use, perceived usefulness, and electronic word of mouth (eWOM). Meanwhile, behavioral intention in this study proved to be reliable by electronic word of mouth (eWOM) and attitude. The results of the moderation effect test prove that electronic word of mouth (eWOM) in this study weakens the relationship between perceived ease of use (PEoU) and attitude. Electronic word of mouth (eWOM) can assess the relationship between perceived usefulness (PU) and attitudes and behavioral intentions.

Zakat is the third pillar of Islam that must be fulfilled by every Muslim who has a sufficient amount of zakat. The purpose of zakat management is to increase the benefits of zakat in creating social welfare and poverty alleviation. This study aims to measure the impact of zakat on the welfare of mustahiq using the Center of Islamic Business and Economic Studies (CIBEST) model. The research sample consisted of mustahiq households who received zakat funds from the Baitul Maal Hidayatullah Amil Zakat Institute (LAZ BMH). Measuring the impact of zakat using the CIBEST model includes both material and spiritual aspects. The primary data were collected using a questionnaire. The results of the study found that the mustahiq household welfare index value increased by 11.5 per cent. In terms of material, productive zakat succeeded in reducing material poverty by 11.5 per cent. However, the zakat assistance provided does not have a significant effect on poverty alleviation. In the spiritual aspect, productive zakat can maintain mustahiq's spiritual stability. Therefore, as a form of accountability, both vertically and horizontally, to Allah SWT, the impact of zakat must be increased from both material and spiritual aspects.

The purpose of this research is to analyze the role of the Amil Zakat Institution (LAZ) in the economic sector to improve the welfare of poor widowed families, namely through the economic empowerment program of the Kampung Mandiri National Amil Zakat Institute (LAZNAS) Yatim Mandiri, Kudus Branch located in Cangkring B Village, Karanganyar District, Regency. Demak. The results showed that the LAZNAS Yatim Mandiri Kudus Branch program in the formation of the Kampung Mandiri program, namely first, planning the formation of the Kampung Mandiri program in Cangkring B Village Karanganyar Demak to the implementation of the program, with the business being managed is fried onions with the branding "Guemez Onions". Second, the distribution of funds for the Kampung Mandiri program is budgeted at Rp. 128,590,000 for capital and program facilities and infrastructure. Third, monitoring the Kampung Mandiri program. The role of the Kampung Mandiri program for poor widows is first, to provide knowledge of entrepreneurship and Islam. Second, increase entrepreneurial skills. Third, increase income. The role of LAZNAS Yatim Mandiri, Kudus Branch is still not optimal in improving the welfare of poor widow families because the income earned from working wages when the production of fried onions is of little value, and the profits from sales cannot be used directly by widows because they are still collected and stored first. The Kampung Mandiri program has been supported by the existence of village approval, grants for program activities, and business capital from LAZNAS Yatim Mandiri Kudus Branch. Meanwhile, the obstacles experienced are the slow rate of development, the production process is not yet optimal, the lack of cohesiveness of the members of Kampung Mandiri, and the marketing of products that are not optimal.
