Two important paradigms which are contradicting by nature namely: the efficient routing information diffusion and adaptability to dynamic network conditions using wireless routing protocols have been researched in recent years. One way of solving this issue is by using the past experiences of a node in network traffic condition through intelligent algorithm to predict the network traffic condition in the future. In this methodology we propose an algorithm which is used to to predict one hop delay per packet during routing process using neural networking. The one hop delay that is predicted is then further used by the participating nodes for information diffusion during routing. Experimental analysis indicate that using tapped delay line radial basis function and tapped delay line multilayer perceptron, it is possible to predict mean delays as a time series. The inputs used for prediction are mean delay time series with traffic loads and mean delay time series itself. The pros and cons of the proposed work are also present in this paper.

VANETs is a rapid developed wireless mobile MANETs network with special challenge nature. It is a distributed and self-organized communication network based on moving vehicle. This network has characteristics like limited bandwidth, strong mobility, strong dynamic network topology, limited node degrees freedom, equipment capacity constraints and weak physical security. These characteristics usually make typical routing protocol in mobile MANET show a low efficiency in mobile VANETs, even fail. MANET routing algorithm is roughly divided into two categories, namely table driven routing protocol and on-demand routing protocol. It is due to the particularity of driving cars on the road. So how to improve network routing protocol in the performance is now a challenging problem. The purpose of this article studies network routing mechanism based on wireless vehicular networks simulation method. On the basis of analyzing the performance of typical routing protocols in MANET, such as DSDV, AODV and DSR, the improved scheme of AODV on-demand routing algorithm is put forward.

AbstractMining time series data is of great significance in various areas. To efficiently find representative patterns in these data, this article focuses on the definition of a valid dissimilarity measure and the acceleration of partitioning clustering, a common group of techniques used to discover typical shapes of time series. Dissimilarity measure is a crucial component in clustering. It is required, by some particular applications, to be invariant to specific transformations. The rationale for using the angle between two time series to define a dissimilarity is analyzed. Moreover, our proposed measure satisfies the triangle inequality with specific restrictions. This property can be employed to accelerate clustering. An integrated algorithm is proposed. The experiments show that angle-based dissimilarity captures the essence of time series patterns that are invariant to amplitude scaling. In addition, the accelerated algorithm outperforms the standard one as redundancies are pruned. Our approach has been applied to discover typical patterns of information diffusion in an online social network. Analyses revealed the formation mechanisms of different patterns.

In recent times Automation is emerging every day and bloomed in every sector. Intelligent Transportation System (ITS) is one of the important branches of Automation. The major constrain in the transportation system is traffic congestion. This slurps the individual’s time and consequently pollutes the environment. A centralized management is required for optimizing the transportation system. The current traffic condition is predicted by evaluating the historical data and thereby it reduces the traffic congestion. The periodic update of traffic condition in each and every street of the city is obtained and the data is transferred to the autonomous vehicle. These data are obtained from the simulation results of transportation prediction tool SUMO. It is proved that our proposed work reduces the traffic congestion and maintains ease traffic flow and preserves the fleet management.

This study investigated the outcome of composite graft replacement of 50 amputated digital tips in 50 children over a period of 3 years and 6 months. Eleven of 18 tips (61%) which were replaced within 5 hours survived completely while none of 32 digital tips replaced after 5 hours survived completely. This difference was highly significant. The mean delay time between amputation and replacement in the successful group was 3.9 hours and in the others was 7.2 hours. This difference was also statistically significant. The implications of the findings of this series to the use of this treatment are discussed.
