The Grotesque

This research aims to study the application of the Grotesque technique on the characters of the very short story written by Palestinian female writers. The study includes three examples of very short stories by Palestinian female writers from different sectors: Israel, West Bank and Gaza Strip, and the diaspora. It attempts to find the connection between the grotesque reality that emerged after the war in 1948 and its effects and changes in society, politics and economics. Therefore, we will monitor the topics written by Palestinian female writers in the very short story because of the preferences that this genre achieves that do not exist in other literary genres such as reduction, brevity, intensification. We reveal the extent to which the Grotesque technique is used to express marginalized feminist issues, and to find similarities and differences between stories in the application of the Grotesque technique on the characters. We found That the Grotesque technique used in the stories to distort the contours of the characters. The characters do not behave as normal but are somewhat willful, and act as a mechanism. The character of the woman is absent and invisible and her voice is inaudible. Women's personality in various situations is a negative recipient.

The AIDOS Project: The Institute for Women's Studies in the Arab World, (IWSAW) was selected to take part in an international project aimed at establishing four documentation centers -specialized in women's human, civic, labor and reproductive rights- in fourArab countries: Lebanon, Egypt, Jordan, the West Bank and Gaza Strip. The main objective of the project is to create an information network of women's organizations throughout the Mediterranean area.

The present study aimed to identify the extent of using research systems that are the new generation for the library index, similar to the interface of the beneficiaries that allows access to all information, and satisfaction with it in Palestinian libraries in light of the technological environment from the viewpoint of librarians and researchers. It also aimed to identify whether there is any difference between the respondent’s occupational stress levels which can be attributed to their (Gender, major, library type, experience). The study’s population consists from all the all the Librarians and researchers in Palestine (West Bank and Gaza Strip). As for the sample, it consists from (300) From librarians and researchers in Palestine (West Bank and Gaza Strip). The researcher chose a descriptive, relational approach to its suitability with this study. The researcher Prepare an instrument a questionnaire for measuring the extent to which research systems are used and satisfied with the technological environment from the viewpoint of librarians and researchers. The results of the study showed that there are no statistically significant differences in the extent use of library systems and satisfaction with them in light of the technological environment from the viewpoint of librarians and researchers in what is attributed to the variable of gender and specialization, and the presence of statistically significant differences in the extent of use of library systems and satisfaction with it in the technological environment from The viewpoint of librarians and researchers regarding the variable type of library and years of experience. In the light of the aforementioned results, the researcher rec-efforts necessity design unified search index between the types of libraries in Palestine to unify the searches, which greatly reduces the time period spent.
