This study aims to determine whether the Capital Structure affects the financial performances partially and simultaneouslly. The Capital Structure in this study is proxide by Debt to Asset Ratio (DAR) and Long Term Debt to Equity Ratio (LTDER), whereas the financial performance is proxide by Return On Asset (ROA). the type of data used in this study is secondary data obtained from the financial statements os plastic and packaging companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange in 2012-2019. The analysis method uses multiple linier regression analysis. The result revealed that partially DAR had negative and significant effect on ROA, while LTDER had no significant effect on ROA. The result also shows that simultaneouslly DAR and LTDER have a significant effect on ROA.

ABSTRACT The purpose of this study is to examine whether working capital variables, size, and capital structure affect the return on assets. The population in this study are manufacturing companies in various sub-sectors proposed in the Indonesia stock exchange in 2016-2018. The type of data used in this study is secondary data from the company's annual financial statements as a sample that is used and processed using SPSS 16.00. This research uses the classic assumption test and the data analysis method used is multiple linear regression analysis. The results of the study show how working capital (ratio using current ratio, accounts receivable turnover, and net working capital), size, and capital structure (tested using a debt to equity ratio) are considered to compare asset returns.Keywords: working capital, size, capital structure, return on assets ABSTRAK Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk menguji apakah variabel modal kerja, ukuran, dan struktur modal berpengaruh terhadap return on assets. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah perusahaan manufaktur di berbagai sub sektor yang diusulkan di Bursa Efek Indonesia tahun 2016-2018. Jenis data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah data sekunder berupa laporan keuangan tahunan perusahaan sebagai sampel yang digunakan dan diolah menggunakan SPSS 16.00. Penelitian ini menggunakan uji asumsi klasik dan metode analisis data yang digunakan adalah analisis regresi linier berganda. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bagaimana modal kerja (rasio menggunakan rasio lancar, perputaran piutang, dan modal kerja bersih), ukuran, dan struktur modal (diuji menggunakan rasio utang terhadap ekuitas) dipertimbangkan untuk membandingkan pengembalian aset.Kata kunci: modal kerja, ukuran, struktur modal, return on assets

ABSTRACT: Bussiness competition in the textile and garment industry is now increasingly high, need to be managed properly, especially it’s financial performance. This study aims to determine the effect of capital structure on financial performance on textile and garment companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange in 2016-2018 both partially and simultaneously. Capital structure is measured by Debt to Asset Ratio (DAR) (X1), Debt to Equity Ratio (DER) (X2), and Long term Debt to Equity Ratio (LtDER)(X3). Company performance is measured by Return on Investment (ROI) (Y). This research is a quantitative case study. Secondary data obtained from the annual financial statetments. The population of the research are 21 companies. The number of samples in this study were 8 companies. The analysis technique used is multiple regression to test the effect of independent variables on the dependent variable. The results showed that partially DAR and DER variables significantly influence the ROI, while the LtDER variable has no significant effect on ROI. All three variables have a significant effect on ROI simultaneousl.

This study aims to determine the effect of profitability on the capital structure of the Manufacturing Companies subsector Metals are Listed in Indonesia Stock Exchange in 2011-2013, in this study profitability is measured using the Return on Assets (ROA), and capital structure were measured using Debt to Equity Ratio (DER ). The method used is descriptive method verification. The data collection techniques used is a method of documentation. Data in the form of financial statements obtained from the official website of Indonesia Stock Exchange 2011-2013. With a total sample of 10 Metals Companies listed on the BEI for three periods of study in order to get 30 data observan. Statistical analysis used is simple linear regression analysis, which is preceded by a test for normality and linearity as a prerequisite regression test then testing the significance of regression (F test) and regression coefficient significance test (t test). Based on the results of data processing, the known value of ROA decreased, while DER increased. Based on the statistical test result that profitability does not affect the capital structure.    Keywords: Profitability, Capital Structure.

Using horizontal analysis for capital structure, return on equity (ROE), debt to equity ratio (DER), long term debt to equity ratio (LTDtER) and uses industry standard averages. The results show that PT Unilever Indonesia Tbk can exceed the average value of the industry standard and the value generated for returns on equity, debt to equity ratio, and long-term debt to equity ratio the higher compared to other cosmetic companies. Companies with returns on equity, debt to equity ratios and long-term debt-to-equity ratios that obtain low scores are PT. Kino Indonesia Tbk and PT. Mustika Ratu Tbk because the value obtained cannot always be obtained by the industry standard average value. Abstract: This study aims to examine the effect of capital structure on the company's financial performance particularly in manufacturing companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange for the 4 years period from 2014 to 2018. Capital structure is measured by Market Total Leverage (MTLEV), Market Long-Term Leverage (MLLEV) and Market Short-Term Leverage (MSLEV). On the other hand, the company's financial performance is measured by Return on Equity (ROE) and Price to Book Value (PBV). The populations in this study are manufacturing companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange and the selection of samples was determined by purposive sampling method, with the final samples as many as 333 company-years. The type of data used is secondary data from IDX using multiple regression analysis methods. This study aims to test and analyse the Company Size and Liquidity Influence the Capital Structure (Studies in Manufacturing Companies in the Food and Beverage Sector in the Indonesia Stock Exchange). Data collection uses secondary data. The population in this study is the financial statements of all companies included in the food and beverage manufacturing sector listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange from 2014-2016 taken by purposive sampling method, there are 42 samples from the financial statements of the Manufacturing Company in the Food and Beverage Sector in the Indonesia Stock Exchange. The financial statements have been tested for classic assumptions in the form of assumptions of normality, heteroscedasticity and multicolonality. Data analysis method uses multiple regression techniques. The results showed that based on the t-test, the variable of firm size has no effect and insignificant effect on the capital structure and the variable liquidity had a positive and significant effect on the capital structure. In the F test (simultaneous) the size of the company and liquidity have a positive and significant effect on the capital structure (Study in Manufacturing Companies in the Food and Beverage Sector in the Indonesia Stock Exchange).

The purpose of this research to measure capital structure of cosmetics companies and house hold goods listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange for the period 2015-2017 using vertical analysis, return on equity (ROE), earnings per share (EPS), debt on equity ratio (DER), and Long-Term Debt on Equity Ratio (LTDtER). This research uses descriptive methods, secondary data used is company documentation and financial reports in the form of balance sheet PT.Akasha Wira International Tbk, PT. Kino Indonesia Tbk, PT.Mandom Indonesia Tbk, PT. Martina Berto Tbk, PT. Mustika Ratu Tbk and PT. Unilever Indonesia Tbk in 2015 until 2017. The results showed that the perfomance of cosmetics companies and house hold goods reduction in 2015 until 2017 the form of Return on Equity (ROE) and increase in Debt on Equity Ratio (DER) and also fluctuations in Long-Term Debt on Equity Ratio (LTDtER). PT. Kino Indonesia and PT. Mustika Ratu are companies with financial performance whose capital structure management is not optimal due to the composition and proportion of long-term debt with equity that is not balanced with the returns and risks borne by the company during the 2015 to 2017 period. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menguji pengaruh profitabilitas, peluang pertumbuhan dan leverage terhadap nilai perusahaan pada perusahaan manufaktur yang terdaftar di bursa efek Indonesia. Data dalam penelitian ini diperoleh dari laporan keuangan perusahaan manufaktur yang terdaftar di BEI. Penelitian ini menggunakan data sekunder dengan mengamati dengan mengunjungi metode analisis data Pusat Informasi Pasar Modal (PIPM) menggunakan pendekatan Partial Least Square (PLS). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa: secara parsial, variabel profitabilitas dan peluang pertumbuhan memiliki pengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap nilai perusahaan, sedangkan leverage berpengaruh negatif dan signifikan terhadap nilai perusahaan. This study aims to examine the effect of profitability, growth opportunities and leverage on firm value in manufacturing companies listed on the Indonesian stock exchange. The data in this study were obtained from the financial statements of manufacturing companies listed on the IDX. This study uses secondary data by observing by visiting the Capital Market Information Center (PIPM) data analysis method using the Partial Least Square (PLS) approach. The results showed that: partially, profitability and growth opportunities variables had a positive and significant effect on firm value, while leverage had a negative and significant effect on firm value.

This study aimed to examine and analyze the effect of liquidity, profitability, company size and ownership structure on capital structure in companies listed in Indonesia Stock Exchange from 2008-2010. The population of this research is all manufacturing companies listed in Indonesia Stock Exchange for the period 2008-2010 and published financial statements on December 31 for the fiscal year 2008-2010. This was a censuses research since all population sampled. Data used in this research is secondary data in the form of financial statements in the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) 2008-2010. Data collection was done by the documentation and classifies data based on the financial statements of the criteria determined. Data  required in this research obtained from the Indonesian Capital Market Directory (ICMD) and the Capital Market Reference Center (PRPM) to address the Indonesia Stock Exchange Building Tower 2 1st Floor, Sudirman street Lot 52-53 Jakarta 12190. Based on these criteria, 114 companies obtained to be the target of Population.The results of this study indicate that both simultaneously, liquidity, profitability, company size, and ownership structure affect firm capital structure. Partially, variable profitability and ownership structure has a positive effect, while the variable size of the companiy’s and liquidity negative affect the capital structure of the manufacturing companies listed in Indonesia Stock Exchange from 2008-2010.  Keywords: Liquidity, Profitability, Company Size and Ownership Structure, Capital Structure
