The algorithm uses forward ants to find the path from the source node to the destination node, and uses backward ants to update the pheromone on the path. In the route selection, we use the energy of the neighboring nodes as the parameter of the heuristic function. At the same time, we construct the fitness function, and take the path length and the node residual energy as its parameters. The simulation results show that the algorithm can not only avoid the problem of local optimal solution, but also prolong the life cycle of the network effectively.</span></p>

As a new method of obtaining information and disposal pattern, wireless sensor network has been a hot issue nowadays. In this paper the network model and energy consumption model of wireless sensor network are introduced firstly. The improved inspiring factor takes energy into account. Then a parallel ant colony algorithm based on award-punishment mechanism is proposed. The experimental results show that the energy consumption and time delay of the improved algorithm are superior to energy efficient ant based routing and basic ant colony algorithm.

Routing protocol is mainly responsible for seeking optimized path between source node and destination node and forwarding data package along the optimized path in a right way, which is a core link in wireless sensor network. In this thesis, a research on WSN routing algorithm based on ant-colony algorithm is done, targeting the features of WSN and on the basis of the analysis of classic routing protocol. Comparison and analysis of the path and convergence rate of cluster head node are done by means of emulated analysis, which is to some extent innovative and significant to research.

Node positioning technology in the Wireless sensor network is a very important issue. This article introduces the ant colony algorithm and its characteristics. It is a good solution to the static and dynamic portfolio optimization problem. The node positioning method in the wireless sensor network can be divided into two categories based ranging and no ranging. In order to get a higher positioning accuracy, and a further improvement the positioning accuracy, this paper introduces the ant colony optimization algorithm based on the first positioning method of the feasibility. The experimental results demonstrate the decrease of the number of transmitting beacon and the optimal mobile path after being optimized.

This paper discusses the relevant theoretical problems of ant colony algorithm, analyzes the defects of the traditional ant colony algorithm, and proposed an improved ant colony algorithm to solve these problems. Wireless sensor network routing should satisfy both to ensure data transmission and reduce the amount of communication requirements. The paper presents development of routing protocol for wireless sensor network based on improved ant colony algorithm technology. The simulation results show the effectiveness of this algorithm.

According to real-time and limited energy of the wireless sensor network (WSN), this paper proposed an ant-colony algorithm (ACO) for optimal routing. The algorithm limited the search space to next node based on search angle and designed directional pheromones to guide ants to the destination node. Using negative feedback mechanism encouraged later ants to choose the optimal path. When ants are timeout with limited life cycle, go back along the way and reduce the pheromone. Probability-transfer function contained the factors of distance, energy, pheromones and search angle. Compared with other ACOs, the results show that it can balance the energy consumption and improve the routing in aspects of energy, dead nodes, short path and time delay.
