With increase of information sharing over the internet or intranet, we require techniques to increase the availability of shared resource over large number of users trying to access the resources at the same time. Many techniques are being proposed to make access easy and more secure in distributed environment. Information retrieval plays an important to serve the most reliant data in least waiting, this chapter discuses all such techniques for information retrieval and sharing over the cloud infrastructure. Cloud Computing services provide better performance in terms of resource sharing and resource access with high reliability and scalability under high load.

The article analyses the possibility of how Cloud Computing can be used by libraries to organise activities online. In order to achieve a uniform understanding of the essence of technology SaaS, IaaS, and PaaS, the article discusses the Cloud Computing services, which can be used for the relocation of libraries to the Internet. The improvement of the general activity of libraries in the digital age, the analysis of the international experience in the libraries are examples. Also the article discusses the results of a survey of the Lithuanian scientific community that confirms that 90% of the scientific community is in the interest of getting full access to e-publications online. It is concluded that the decrease in funding for libraries, Cloud Computing can be an economically beneficial step, expanding the library services and improving their quality.

Aiming at the problems on the management system, function orientation, resource sharing, information platform construction, technical support in university social services, the characteristics of cloud computing technique and its influence on the library informatization were carefully analyzed. The four-in-one cloud computing service society system structures of university library about reading, borrowing, selling, and service were designed and constructed .The problems of how the library serve the society in all directions were solved.

The proliferation of Cloud Computing has opened new and attractive offerings for consumers. Cloud Service Providers promote and market packages of cloud computing services that cater to diverse opportunities and user applications. While this has obvious advantages, there are certain factors that are a cause for concern. Monitoring the underlying infrastructure that supports the entire fabric of cloud computing is an aspect that requires a great deal of attention. The aspect of monitoring takes on a great deal of significance when performance and robustness of cloud service on offer is taken into consideration. Although research has been conducted into various cloud computing monitoring techniques, there is scope and room yet for an integrated cloud monitoring solution that can fulfill the requirements of cloud administrators to ensure optimal performance of the underlying infrastructure of a cloud computing network. In this paper, we propose a unified monitoring model that is essentially a composite framework involving hardware and network layers. Studies conducted during our experiments suggest that our unified cloud monitoring approach can significantly aid in reducing overall carbon emissions while helping meeting compliance and audit norms by ensuring that the underlying cloud infrastructure is monitored closely

Cloud computing is the movement of enlisting computing services like organization servers, accumulating databases, arranging, programming examination over the Internet. Companies offering these computing services are known as cloud providers and typically charge for cloud computing services based on usage, similar to how you are billed for water or electricity at home. It enables the companies to consume a compute resource, such as a Virtual Machine (VM), storage or an application, as a utility—just like electricity—rather than building and maintaining large computing materials in the house. Though servers are greatly protected against unauthorized access, there are incidents where classified data stored on servers are accessed by the maintenance staffs. So, the security plays a major role in cloud storage as when the user stores the data in the cloud, it stays there and anybody accessing it cannot be known at all. Hence, this paper mainly deals with the idea of storing data securely in the cloud using Symmetric and Asymmetric Cryptography algorithms including AES, 3DES, Blowfish, RSA along with modern Steganography LSB algorithm for wireless communication which hides the key inside the cover image.

Cloud computing is the dynamic delivery of information technology resources and capabilities as a service over the Internet. Cloud computing is a style of computing in which dynamically scalable and often virtualized resources are provided as a service over the Internet. It generally incorporates infrastructure as a service (IaaS), platform as a service (PaaS), and software as a service (SaaS). [1] Load balancing is one of the biggest challenges in the cloud computing. The concept of load balancing is to equally distribute the workload, resources across all the nodes to guarantee that all the nodes have equal load i.e. no single node is over loaded. As we all know that cloud computing services are mainly product based so in this approach we are using different product based priority queues for different services.

Cloud computing is a novel paradigm which relies on the vision of resource sharing over the Internet. The concept of resource virtualization, i.e. hiding the detail specification of the resources from the end users is the key idea of cloud computing. But the tenants have limited visibility over the network resources. The Network-as-a-Service (NaaS) framework integrates the cloud computing services with direct tenant access to the network infrastructure. The Network virtualization (NV) is such a platform that acts as a mediation layer to provide NaaS to tenants. NV supports the coexistence of multiple virtual networks, which is the collection of virtual nodes and virtual links on the same underlying physical infrastructure. Prior to set up a virtual network in an NV Environment, resource discovery and resource allocation are the primary job. In this chapter, we have discussed on basic NV architecture, surveyed the previous work on the resource allocation along with ongoing research projects on network virtualization.

In order to solve the trust problems between users and cloud computing service providers in cloud computing services, the existing trust evaluation technology and access control technology in the cloud computing service are analyzed. And the evaluation index of cloud computing is also analyzed. Users can calculate the relevant indicators of cloud computing service according to their own business goals, and choose the appropriate cloud computing services according to their own trust need. In addition, the reliability assessment method of users based on the service process is proposed. Cloud computing access control system can be used for user credibility evaluation, and it can handle user access requests according to user's creditability. In the study, a cloud computing service trust evaluation tool is designed, and the modeling and architecture designs of trust evaluation are also given. The effectiveness of the method is verified by experiments on cloud computing service evaluation methods.
