Fascinating technologies, such as software defined networking (SDN), network function virtualization (NFV) and mobile edge computing (MEC) among others, have introduced software-enabling capabilities to telecommunications, mobile and wireless communications. To depict this systemic evolution, various terminologies, such as system cloudification, network programmability, advanced computing and most popularly, softwarization, have been used by numerous scholars. Softwarization is now becoming a fully established phenomenon, especially in the new era of the rapidly evolving Internet of Things (IoT), artificial intelligence (AI) and the looming 5G technology. Away from the research and development (R&D) focus on the technological capabilities of softwarization, this article highlights the main stakeholders in softwarization and underlines a tripartite influence of the systemic evolution i.e. technical, social and economic impacts, all of which will be vital in ensuring a sustainable 5G technology and beyond.

5G aims to provide a wireless access network that supports the requirements of different vertical markets such as automotive and smart cities. 5G oriented services use the Internet of Things (IoT) and will use the network programmability by integrating Software-defined Networking (NFV) and Network Function Virtualization (NFV). This context presents several multi-facet challenges to experiment with these services. 5GINFIRE is a 5G oriented experimental facility where different actors of the 5G ecosystem can experimentally contribute to 5G development and deployment. This work presents the 5GGINFIRE ecosystem, highlights some of its capabilities and some 5G ongoing experiments.

Kata kunci: Internet of Things, logam mulia, vending machine   Abstract: Saving gold is an investment that is considered a safe haven, in the midst of today's modern era saving gold can be done in installments, while the problem is the concern when the physical gold cannot be physically withdrawn which creates the potential for fraud or fraudulent investments that are currently rampant. to overcome this problem the sale of precious metals can be developed to be more attractive with vending machines, to deepen understanding of one of the fundamental computing models and the introduction of the Internet of Things (IoT), this vending machine design will use the finite state automata (FSA) method. With the design of finite state automata (FSA), this research has resulted in the design of a gold vending machine based on the Internet of Things (IoT) from how to login to the vending machine until the gold is physically acceptable. The product selling gold using vending machines is expected to reach a wider audience to invest, especially gold.   Keywords: Internet of Things, precious metals, vending machine

Edge data processing represents the new evolution of the Internet and Cloud computing. Its application to the Internet of Things (IoT) is a step towards faster processing of information from sensors for better performance. In automated systems, we have a large number of sensors, whose information needs to be processed in the shortest possible time and acted upon. The paper describes the possibility of applying Artificial Intelligence on Edge devices using the example of finding a parking space for a vehicle, and directing it based on the segment the vehicle belongs to. Algorithm of Machine Learning is used for vehicle classification, which is based on vehicle dimensions.

Today, the terms big data, artificial intelligence, and internet of things (IoT) are many-fold as these are linked with various applications, technologies, eco-systems, and services in the business domain. The recent industrial and technological revolution have become popular ever before, and the cross-border e-commerce activities are emerging very rapidly. As a result, it supports to the growth of economic globalization that has strategic importance for the advancement of e-commerce activities across the globe. In the business industry, the wide range applications of technologies like big data, artificial intelligence, and internet of things in cross-border e-commerce have grown exponential. This chapter systematically reviews the role of big data, artificial intelligence, and IoT in cross-border e-commerce and proposes a conceptually-designed smart-integrated cross-border e-commerce platform.

The introduction of Industry 4.0 has increased the focus on a number of technologies. These technologies also help realize the vision for intelligent cities. Furthermore, there are already discussions of Industry 5.0. One emerging aspect of Industry 5.0 is human-robot co-working. With the help of artificial intelligence, the internet of things paradigm, Industry 4.0, and Industry 5.0 visions, there will be two predominant types of systems interfacing with people in intelligent cities. These are robotic and ambient intelligence systems. The increasing deployment of these will help make cities even smarter. However, we need to see advancements in a number of relevant key technologies, including power and networking technologies. In this chapter, first, the authors briefly discuss Industry 4.0, Industry 5.0, and intelligent cities paradigm, as well as robotic and ambient intelligence systems. Then, they focus on developing trends in power and networking technologies.
