Security monitoring systems using face recognition can be applied to CCTV or IP cameras. This is intended to improve the security system and make it easier for users to track criminals is theft. The experiment was carried out by detecting human faces for 24 hours using different cameras, namely an HD camera that was active during the day and a Night Vision camera that was active at night. The application of Unsupervised Learning method with the concept of an image cluster, aims to distinguish the faces of known or unknown people according to the dataset built in the Raspberry Pi 4. The user interface media of this system is a web-based application built with Python Flask and Python MySQL. This application can be accessed using the domain provided by the IP Forwarding device which can be accessed anywhere. According to the test results on optimization of storage, the system is able to save files only when a face is detected with an average file size of ± 2.28 MB for 1x24 hours of streaming. So that this storage process becomes more efficient and economical compared to the storage process for CCTV or IP cameras in general.

This research was carried out at the laboratories of the Department of Food Sciences, Faculty of Agriculture, Damascus University, during 2019, where fresh tomato pomace was dried using hot air at a temperature of 40 °C for 24 hours to a moisture content of (14.15%), and then it was ground, and its content of phenols, flavonoids and antioxidant activity were studied. The content of tomato pomace powder of phenols was (248.04 mg gallic/100 g) and of flavonoids (35.94 mg quercetin/100 g) on dry matter basis, and the antioxidant activity was (54.01%). The effect of partial replacement of wheat flour with tomato pomace powder in three ratios (5%, 10% and 15%) on the biscuit contents of phenols, flavonoids and antioxidant activity was studied, along with the effect of storage for 6 months on the content of these compounds. It was observed that the addition of tomato pomace powder resulted in a significant increase (P ≥ 0.05) in the biscuit contents of phenols, flavonoids and the antioxidant activity by increasing the level of addition, The both of biscuits samples (5%) and (10%) showed best sensory acceptance compared to the other samples. Furthermore, the storage process for 6 months exhibited a significant decrease in phenols content and the antioxidant activity, while flavonoids content was not affected.

Introduction: Food is a basic need for every living creature. Bread is one of the processed foods that is consumed by many people as a staple food substitute for rice. The shelf life of white bread is usually not more than a week or even just three days. The appearance of bread that is not suitable for consumption is indicated by the appearance of discoloration on the bread due to being overgrown with fungus. The fungus that grows on white bread can produce mycotoxins during the storage process. Food poisoning can cause symptoms such as nausea, vomiting, and diarrhea. Method: The purpose of this study was to determine the average percentage of white bread covered with contaminant fungi based on temperature and humidity. The method used is descriptive. Results: The results showed that white bread overgrown with contaminant fungi by steaming and not steaming which was placed at room temperature grew faster than white bread placed at refrigerator temperature. At room temperature (27°C - 30°C), contaminant fungi began to grow on the seventh day on white bread 1 and on the fourth day on white bread 2 with the steamed treatment, while for the non-steamed treatment the contaminant fungi began to grow on the fifth day. At refrigerator temperature (13°C - 16°C), white bread with steamed and unsteamed treatment was not covered with contaminant fungi. Conclusion: The conclusion of this study is that white bread overgrown with contaminant fungi at room temperature with steam treatment was 3.33% on the fourth to fifth day, and 66.6% on the seventh day. Bread covered with contaminant fungi at room temperature with treatment not steamed as much as 3.33% on the fifth to the seventh day. Researchers hope that future researchers can conduct this research by adding a microscopic examination method.

In order to enhance the load balance in the big data storage process and improve the storage efficiency, an intelligent classification method of low occupancy big data based on grid index is studied. A low occupancy big data classification platform was built, the infrastructure layer was designed using grid technology, grid basic services were provided through grid system management nodes and grid public service nodes, and grid application services were provided using local resource servers and enterprise grid application services. Based on each server node in the infrastructure layer, the basic management layer provides load forecasting, image backup, and other functional services. The application interface layer includes the interfaces required for the connection between the platform and each server node, and the advanced access layer provides the human-computer interaction interface for the operation of the platform. Finally, based on the obtained main structure, the depth confidence network is constructed by stacking several RBM layers, the new samples are expanded by adding adjacent values to obtain the mean value, and the depth confidence network is used to classify them. The experimental results show that the load of different virtual machines in the low occupancy big data storage process is less than 40%, and the load of each virtual machine is basically the same, indicating that this method can enhance the load balance in the data storage process and improve the storage efficiency.

Abstract The article discusses the possibility of increasing the efficiency of seed drying using energy storage. The recommended modes of the drying process and the selection of the most effective modes to use in drying units are presented. A method of additional thermal radiation for a vacuum chamber using a phase change of the heat carrier is presented. The diagram of the energy storage process and the diagram of the process of using the stored energy are shown.

Abstract The trend is to reduce the energy intensity of buildings. Thermal energy storage (TES) is the biggest challenge for buildings. It is a technology that supplies thermal energy by heating or cooling a tank, which then serves for the system in the building. Comparison of hitherto known systems ATES, BTES, PTES and research TTES. The most important factors for the accumulation of thermal energy are capacity (the energy stored in the system - depends on the storage process, the medium, and the size of the system), power (how fast the energy stored in the system can be discharged and charged), efficiency (the ratio of the energy provided to the user to the energy needed to charge the storage system. It accounts for the energy loss during the storage period and the charging/discharging cycle), storage (how long the energy is stored and lasts hours to months), charging and discharging (how much time is needed to charge or discharge the system), and cost (refers to capacity (€/kWh) or power (€/kW) of the TES system and depends on the capital and operation costs of the storage equipment and its lifetime).

This research was conducted at the Teaching Farm of the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine, Airlangga University, to know the effect of age, temperature, and humidity on the quality of semen of bulls which are turned into frozen semen. This research uses fresh semen samples of bulls of various ages grouped into 3 groups, young, middle age, and old groups and measures temperature and humidity during the storage process. Fresh semen is collected using an artificial vagina and then examined macroscopic and microscopic tests which is then checked for post thawing motility. Data analysis uses Analysis of Variants (ANOVA) followed by Duncan. The results showed that the percentage of spermatozoa motility of fresh semen and post thawing differed and age affected the quality of semen produced. There was no effect of temperature and humidity when processing of collecting semen. Bull’s semen at Teaching Farm Faculty of Veterinary Medicine Airlangga University has good quality and is suitable for Artificial Insemination.

AbstractAlternative green binders processable in water are being investigated for the development of more efficient and sustainable supercapacitors. However, their electrochemical performances have fallen within or below the average of commercially available devices. Herein, an optimised gelled mixture of graphene oxide (GO) and starch, a biopolymer belonging to the family of polysaccharides, is proposed. The molecular interactions between the two components enhance electrodes structure and morphology, as well as their thermal stability. GO, thanks to its reduction that is initially triggered by reactions with starch and further progressed by thermal treatment, actively contributes to the charge storage process of the supercapacitors. The optimised electrodes can deliver a specific capacitance up to 173.8 F g−1 while providing good rate capabilities and long-term stability over 17,000 cycles. These are among the best electrochemical performances achieved by environmentally friendly supercapacitors using a biomaterial as a binder.
