The researchers of this study selected five journals in the field of education and conducted a series of analyses regarding publications dating from 2010 to 2019 to investigate the research trends and characteristics in the field of Educational Technology. By using the analytic tool Content Analysis Toolkit for Academic Research (CATAR), the researchers in this study conducted bibliometric analysis and breakdown analyses to summarize major contributing countries, educational institutions, most productive authors, and most cited papers; moreover, they used co-word analysis to reveal the representative items within each cluster. The findings in this study can provide implications and references for educators and researchers in the field of Educational Technology when selecting variables for their studies and technologies for their students.

Purpose: The aim of this study was to analyze the bibliometric characteristics of articles on innovation systems published in Scopus-indexed journals by authors with Indonesian affiliations from 1998 to 2019, in comparison with those published by authors from Singapore and Malaysia. Methods: We conducted a bibliometric and content analysis of publications in the Scopus database. A total of 138 articles from Indonesia, 209 articles from Singapore, and 309 articles from Malaysia were analyzed. They were classified by publication year, authors, co-authors’ country, affiliation, keywords, and journal title. Results: Authors with affiliations from Malaysia were more productive than authors from Singapore and Indonesia during 1998 to 2019. In terms of the quality of papers, Singapore had more productive authors than Malaysia and Indonesia based on the citation frequency. Conclusion: Although fewer articles on innovation systems were published by authors from Indonesia than by those from Malaysia and Singapore, the recent increase in the number of publications by Indonesian authors suggests that number of articles from Indonesia will soon surpass those from the other two countries. International collaboration will help accelerate the number of publications.

Abstract The mobile phone, with revolutionary smart capabilities, provided its users enormous benefits, especially the convenience of shopping through websites and applications from anywhere and anytime. There are several academic studies conducted to measure the adoption and usage behavior of consumers towards mobile shopping platforms, for more than a decade. However, the research on mobile shopping behavior had gained more attention only in the last few years. The purpose of this study is to conduct a detailed and systematic review of mobile shopping literature (from the consumer behavior perspective) and perform quantitative analysis, with the help of bibliometric analysis. The study examined 158 academic articles that was obtained from Scopus, to perform bibliometric analysis, and the analysis revealed that the research on mobile shopping behavior had gained more attention between 2012 and 2018. The paper identifies the key contributions in terms of the most productive journals, countries, institutions, papers, and authors in research on consumers’ mobile shopping behavior. The co-citation reference analysis, keyword co-occurence analysis and word cloud technique had been used, to identify the evolution of various themes focused in this area. This study’s results will make researchers and scholars to have better understanding about the knowledge structure of academic research on mobile shopping through bibliometrics and visualization techniques.

PurposeThe purpose of this study is to carry out the systematic literature review, bibliometric analysis and content analysis of extant literature of service supply chain (SSC).Design/methodology/approachSystematic literature review (SLR) technique was used for identifying the research papers. In the first step after reading titles, abstracts and keywords and, full-length articles wherever required, papers not related to SSC were removed. In second steps papers were read more critically and papers not related to SSC were removed. Finally on 502 papers bibliometric and content analysis was further carried out. Content analysis was based on the clusters formed by bibliographic coupling. Further, content analysis of the recent articles revealed the current research trends and research gaps.FindingsThis paper identified the six existing research diversifications in SSC as (1) logistics SSC, (2) model, framework and conceptual papers, (3) third-party logistics service providers, (4) articles from various perspective, (5) measurement of quality and performance on services and (6) impact of adoption of technology, cooperation and branding on logistics service providers. Further, six future research directions are also provided.Practical implicationsThis research provides a clear view of the progression of publication, research diversification, research themes of six identified clusters, sub-themes of clusters and content analysis of each cluster. Content analysis of recent articles reveals the current research trend and future research directions.Originality/valueThis is a first of its kind of study which presents the diversification of research areas within SSC, bibliometric analysis, content analysis and provides actionable future research direction.
