The involvement of governments and public institutions in entrepreneurial activity has grown considerably in the last years. Public governance has begun to pay more attention to the fact that, in order to achieve the goal of economic development in a country, it is necessary to increase entrepreneurship both qualitatively and quantitatively. Most governments have created significant actions that encouraged and supported the entrepreneurial activity and also they have contributed to supporting the private sector in the economy. The present paper analyses the scientific works related to entrepreneurship and public governance, as well as to investigate the connection between these topics. The study presents a bibliometric analysis of the importance of the nexus public governance and entrepreneurship. The proposed research studies 201 references collected from the Clarivate Analytics, Web of Science Core Collection database. The research methodology performed to graphically map the literature is bibliometric analysis. The analysis is carried out on three distinct levels, namely the analysis of the co-occurrence of keywords, co-citation and co-author by means of (VOS) viewer program. This approach allows us to highlight the main results presented in journals, magazines, documents, subjects, authors, institutions but also results recorded at the country level. The study also evidence the main trends and impact of research in the form of a visual and schematic research framework on the relationship between public governance and entrepreneurship and its related elements, namely innovation and development.

In this paper, bibliometric analysis is conducted on eco-innovation and internationalisation, since in the scientific literature, both research fields have been considered as being interrelated. Although the adoption of eco-innovation and internationalisation are risky processes, they reduce competitive risk and increase performance in a highly competitive business environment. The main objective of this study is to identify current research trends on the interrelationships of eco-innovations and internationalisation as well as the main areas of knowledge and to provide a general overview of research streams that can be classified using by papers, authors and journals found in the Web of Science database. In total, 1677 publications published between 1991 and 2020 related to eco-innovations and internationalisation were taken into consideration. For the visualisation of bibliographic material, VOSviewer software was used. These findings provide valuable insights by revealing the trends and highlighting the possible research streams for future investigations in the field of eco-innovations and internationalisation research.

The aim of this study is to identify research trends for technology use in pre-school curricula. Research trends were analysed by employing content and bibliometric analysis methods. A total of 3,302 articles indexed by Web of Science between 1975 and 2020 were analysed using bibliometric mapping analysis and a total of 31 studies indexed by Web of Science between 2016-2020 were analysed using content analysis. The results obtained from the study reveal that the effect of technology is examined in different fields and with different stakeholder groups. It is identified that qualitative methods, interview/focus group interview forms, articles as document types and pre-school teachers among other sample groups were preferred more frequently. The country with the highest number of citations is identified as the United States of America and the organisation with the highest number of citations is identified as University of Virginia. It is recommended that researchers design their studies by following the trends in the field and conduct studies that address the gaps in the field.

The scientific production on the Innovation, especially on Sustainable Innovation, has grown in recent years. Various expressions and definitions for sustainability and innovation have been reported in the literature. Sometimes the two concepts are combined and described with one term, Sustainable Innovation. Research on sustainable innovation has grown in popularity due to the need to incorporate sustainability within business practices. The purpose of this study is to investigate the status and the evolution of the scientific studies on this topic and identify the worldwide trends in scientific production over time through a research conducted on the metadata of Web of Science, a database commonly used by researchers. A bibliometric analysis has been developed to analyse a total of 1,511 documents published between 2000 and 2021 in order to discover the research trends in this field and the main dimensions and words related to the term “Sustainable Innovation”.

Because of the advantages of nanoparticles (NPs) in a variety of industrial, biomedical, and consumer applications, they are intentionally (such as in medicine) or unintentionally (environment exposure) introduced into the human body. However, to date, the detrimental effects of NPs are still unclear, especially in reproductive and developmental toxicity. In this study, we researched 266 articles related to the reproductive and developmental toxicity of NPs from 2006 to December 2016 based on the database of the Web of Science. According to the bibliometric analysis, we found that China and the United States were the leading countries in this field and the major research trends might focus on the pathogenesis of NPs, such as oxidative stress, inflammation, and DNA damage. By this analysis, we provide new insights into the research trends and characteristics of the field.

Nursing professionals are constantly exposed to several risk factors and high levels of stress that can affect their mental, emotional, and physical health, which can trigger burnout syndrome. This article aims to use bibliometric analysis to investigate burnout research trends among nursing professionals worldwide and to compare the contributions of different countries/institutions, scientific journals, authors, keywords, and citations. A bibliometric study was performed using the Scopus and Web of Science databases, in the period up to November 2021, aiming to search original and review articles in the English language regarding burnout in nursing professionals. The analysis was performed with a sample of 1406 articles. The most cited article indicated that 43% of nurses had high burnout scores, and a similar percentage were dissatisfied with their work. The most productive and most cited country in the world was the United States of America. Regarding the 10 most cited documents, there were no studies that could provide interventions to reduce burnout in nursing professionals, which can result in a need to develop studies on prevention capable of mitigating the problem, in view of the impacts generated on their mental, emotional, and physical health.

International Journal of Computers Communications & Control (IJCCC) is an international journal in the fields of automation control systems and computer science. According to Web of Science (WoS), the first document of IJCCC was published in 2006. In this paper, we study the research trends of publications in IJCCC by performing bibliometric analysis from 2006 to 2019. 982 publications are selected from WoS after data preprocessing by VOS viewer and CiteSpace. Firstly, fundamental information of publications is explored including the type, the annual trend and the most cited publications in IJCCC. Secondly, characteristics of countries/ regions, institutions and authors are presented in terms of evaluation indicators. Next, landscape analysis is conducted to show the development of IJCCC at level of countries/regions, institutions, authors and references, such as co-authorship analysis, bibliographic coupling analysis, co-citation and burst detection analysis, cooccurrence and timeline view analysis. Based on which, discussions about current challenges and possible research trends of IJCCC are provided. Finally, some main findings are summarized. This paper offers a valuable reference for scholars to understand the research trends of IJCCC and grasp hot topics related to relative fields.

Household waste recycling has been widely considered the key to reducing the pollution caused by municipal solid waste and promoting sustainable development. This article aims to clarify the status and map the research trends in the field of household waste recycling. Bibliometric analysis is performed using bibliometrix based on publications during 1991–2020 in the Web of Science database. Results show that academic output in this field is growing rapidly. The top contributing authors, countries, institutions, and journals are identified. Collaboration network of authors, institutions, and countries are created and visualized. The most influential and cited articles in this field mainly focus on factors influencing residents’ recycling behavior from the perspectives of sociopsychology and economics. The theory of planned behavior is the most widely used psychological model. Other research hotspots include electronic waste, source separation, life cycle assessment, sustainability, organic waste, and circular economy. Studies on household waste recycling have become more and more comprehensive and interdisciplinary with the evolution of research themes.
