Following the test work is difficult and complex in the modern radar maintenance support, the automatic testing of radar board is necessary for the radar maintenance man. A automatic test system of radar board based on virtual instrument technology is discussed. The system used PXI bus technology and Labview program language. The design of automatic testing system is given, its hardware solution and software solution is designed. And finally the reliability and expansibility of system design is discussed at last.

The rig is widely used in coal mining production, its research and development, manufacture and use are required to test the performance indicators. For this, the paper researches and developments the comprehensive performance automatic test system in coal mining rig by using virtual instrument technology, and detailedly discussed the hardware configuration and software design scheme of the test system. After a hundred sets of various types testing and inspection of rig, the operation results shows that the automatic test system can meet the various performance parameters’ testing requirements of the split and crawler rigs, and greatly simplify performance testing program of rig, improve the test efficiency.

To improve the efficiency and precision of missile servo mechanism testing, as the research object, a certain missile servo mechanism was studied in this paper. Based on PC/104 bus and virtual instrument technique, a missile servo mechanism automatic test system was presented, and the design and development on hardware and software of the system was described in detail. The system, which is featured with its simple operation, high precision, high reliability, scalable and portable test software, has been proved to be feasible by the test result.

Aiming at the intelligent integrated detection System for test and measurement of many different missiles, utilizing the data acquisition technology, virtual instrument technology and signal analysis technology synthetically, in this paper, we introduced the system architecture and accomplished the hardware design and software implementation. Practical applications of the prototype system have proven that this intelligent integrated detection system has more powerful functions, better interaction and more convenient operation than the traditional automatic test system(ATS), it have met the needs of test and measurement of several different missiles

System accuracy is an important assessment indicator for automatic test system, which is influenced by many factors such as instrument, person, and environment. The paper takes a set of automatic motor testing system for an example, the mathematic relationship between the system accuracy and the precision of instrument transformers was analyzed, which also provides a theoretical reference for the precision selection of instrument transformer when the system accuracy was known. Some improved measures such as the selection of measuring point and the calibration of transformer ratio and phase angle are put forward. Testing results verified its simplicity and efficiency, besides the novelty above, the paper also provides a new idea to improve the system accuracy of constructed test platforms without increasing the cost for exchanging a matched transformer.

Because of the poor reconfigurability of the existing test resource models and the faultiness of the intelligent modeling methods in automatic test system, the modeling method based on Multi-Agent was studied. By analyzing the characters of test resources, the test resource models were classified as device model, adapter model and configuration model. The typical test resource model based on Multi-Agent with three layers and five agents was built. The structure and function of system management agent, model reconfiguration agent, function management agent, channel control agent and function realization agent in the model were analyzed. Then its application in Intelligent Virtual Instrument was introduced. This model based on Multi-Agent has good reconfigurability and intelligence, and it can be used to build the general-purpose and intelligent automatic test system.

Aiming at the digital device test, design a automatic test system, introduced the concept, architecture and technology. The PC sends SMV to digital device based on IEC61850-9-2, Then receive real data from device through the PC serial based on IEC103, constructing a loop, then completed the test. Software static structure adopts the modular programming, dynamic data exchange uses multithread. According to the configured test case, test items can be completed automatically. The system is based on PC, compared with the traditional test instrument to save hardware cost. With the help of calculation and control capabilities of the PC, realize the automatic testing, make people liberation from repetitive work, more focused on the analysis of test results, improve test quality and efficiency.

VXI or PXI modules based on embedded computers are playing a significant role in test systems for both agricultural and commercial applications. In an Agricultural equipments remote diagnosis and Maintenance ATS (automatic test system), we applied ARM based VXI modules to developing an equipment called Portable Maintenance Aid Equipments (PMAE) as well as an Ethernet-based measurement system which solved a sticking point of this large-scale ATS. The main testing system is designed as a large-scale integrated test system that will perform automatic test for faulty LRUs (Local Replaceable Unit), and faults will be isolated to SRUs (Shop Replaceable Unit). PMAEs could cooperate with the main testing system in realizing remote measurement and control through virtual instrument (VI) technology, thus the localization veracity of faulty LRUs and cables could be greatly improved. ARM based embedded system was used to realize 0-slot controller as well as some dedicated test modules. It could offer maximum performance and the most compact size because they are installed directly into the VXI mainframe. Test results indicated good performance of this scheme, thereby greatly augmenting diagnostic capacity and efficiency of the Agricultural equipments remote diagnosis and Maintenance ATS.

Most civil engineering structures have long service life and situate in severe environment. So it is the key to carry out testing task continuously according to scheduled demands for the long-term monitoring based on FBG sensing. But the existing instruments cannot satisfy the long-term and remote testing demands. Based on virtual instrument and remote panel technique, the automatic testing and controlling system for FBG sensor array were developed. Modularization programming method was adopted and the control program can be adjusted according to practical demands freely. The testing system can save and figure the results automatically, and it can also discern and process the error signal. These extend and perfect the function of traditional FBG demodulation instrument, and make the testing system more flexible and reliable. It greatly reduces the difficulties in remote and long-term testing task.
