Background and Purpose: Early, frequent rehabilitation is an important factor for optimizing stroke recovery outcomes. Medical comorbidities, such as osteoarthritis, that affect the ability to participate in rehabilitation could therefore have a detrimental impact on such outcomes. Both stroke and osteoarthritis are becoming more common in developed nations as the population ages. First-line osteoarthritis treatments, such as oral nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drugs, are often avoided poststroke due to interaction with secondary prevention stroke risk-factor management. Our objective was to summarize the current literature concerning co-occurring osteoarthritis and stroke prevalence, its functional impact, and treatment options. Methods: Narrative review using a comprehensive literature search of PubMed, osteoarthritis, and stroke guidelines. Outcomes related to co-occurrence prevalence, osteoarthritis as a stroke risk-factor, osteoarthritis-related imaging and treatment were extracted and summarized descriptively. Overall quality of the evidence was summarized using Grading of Recommendations Assessment, Development and Evaluation. Results: We identified 23 studies and guidelines related to our objective. Overall quality of the evidence was very low. Conclusions: Few trials have investigated the relationship between osteoarthritis and stroke, nor osteoarthritis-specific pain and function management for stroke survivors. High-quality research evaluating the impact of osteoarthritis on stroke rehabilitation is needed.

With the rapid development of e-commerce industry, online shopping has become a craze. With the rapid growth of transaction volume on e-commerce platforms, a large amount of transaction data has been accumulated. From the transaction information of these users, a lot of very valuable information can be mined, such as the defects of products and the actual needs of users. In view of the existing e-commerce transaction information collection method is not mature, in this paper, the electric business platform system architecture planning and design increases the function management module. In this paper, a new Naive Bayes model is established by using HBase distributed database instead of traditional database. Based on the optimization and extraction of the important transaction information in the product, the dataset of e-commerce transaction information is updated. Through the efficiency test of the collection method, the information scalability ability test, and the accuracy test, the important context was sorted out after integration, the sources of trading information were sorted out, and the data analysis of the collected information was conducted to optimize the information collection method and verify the feasibility of the method.

An elevated serum urate concentration is associated with kidney damage. Men’s uric acid levels are usually higher than women’s. However, postmenopausal women have a higher risk of gout than men, and comorbidities are also higher than in men. This study examined the sex differences in the relationship between hyperuricemia and renal progression in early chronic kidney disease (CKD) and non-CKD, and further examined the incidence of CKD in non-CKD populations among patients over 50 years of age. We analyzed 1856 women and 1852 men participating in the epidemiology and risk factors surveillance of the CKD database. Women showed a significantly higher risk of renal progression and CKD than men within the hyperuricemia group. After adjusting covariates, women, but not men resulted in an hazard ratio (HR) for developing renal progression (HR = 1.12; 95% CI 1.01–1.24 in women and HR = 1.03; 95% CI 0.93–1.13 in men) and CKD (HR = 1.11; 95% CI 1.01–1.22 in women and HR = 0.95; 95% CI 0.85–1.05 in men) for each 1 mg/dL increase in serum urate levels. The association between serum urate levels and renal progression was stronger in women. Given the prevalence and impact of kidney disease, factors that impede optimal renal function management in women and men must be identified to provide tailored treatment recommendations.

There have been many attempts by cultural actors to promote and preserve Malay Culture in West Kalimantan, but they still face obstacles that make everything hampered. As the interest of the next generation to study and preserve Malay Culture is decreasing, cultural promotion activities are modest, marketing of typical handicrafts that are difficult to market, and the Malay Culture community does not yet have a suitable place to work. Anticipating this, a forum is needed to preserve, demonstrate, maintain and develop West Kalimantan Malay Culture. The final project of the Malay Cultural Center aims to create a center for the preservation of Malay Culture in West Kalimantan. The design method of the West Kalimantan Malay Cultural Center was carried out in several stages, namely ideas, theoretical review, data collection, analysis, synthesis, pre-design, and design. The design concept of the Malay Cultural Center is based on the design elements of the Malay settlement area. The design analysis resulted in several building functions but broadly divided into three functions, namely primary function (performance building), secondary function (training building, art gallery building), and management function (management building, souvenir kiosk). Analysis of the formation of the pattern of the area is taken from the elements of the formation of the Malay area in general and is combined with the shape of the design location. The characteristics of the building follow the form of a West Kalimantan Malay settlement in the form of a typical building on stilts and a pyramid roof / saddle with space tailored to the needs of the user.

Purpose Lean manufacturing (LM) has advocated gains by reducing waste and intensifying continuous improvement. As a holistic organizational policy, it must overpass the limits of the manufacturing function. Management accounting should be aligned to lean thinking, aiming to meet the demands and goals of a lean organization. This paper aims to investigate the degree of alignment between management accounting systems and LM practices. Design/methodology/approach Two representative case studies were carried out in industry leaders in the implementation of LM, in Brazil. The key research constructs and were identified by means of a systematic literature review. The rhetoric and practice concerning the alignment between management accounting and LM are discussed based on the existing theory and the conducted case studies. Findings The analysis showed that many of the principles that form the rhetoric of lean accounting are far from the accounting practices observed in the companies. Using the theory-building function of case studies, 10 propositions to be tested in future research are proposed. The main propositions are also summarized in a framework based on analogies with optical lenses. Originality/value To the best of the knowledge, there are no previous in-depth studies focusing on characterizing this alignment between management accounting and LM practices. The analysis yields prescriptive directions for managers that seek to improve this alignment in their business. This study also proposes a five-stage maturity model, which can be used by the managers to assess this alignment and to set goals for reaching more advanced levels of maturity.
