In order to solve the problem that the management of water-supply operation is still backward and the phenomenon of water resources wasting is exceedingly serious, this paper introduce some advanced technologies such as computer, frequency transformer, programmable logical controller (PLC) and so on into water-supply network, the constant pressure water supply system is devised to achieve the variable-frequency speed control by making use of the electric controlling system composed of S7-200PLC, MM440 frequency transformer, miniature circuit breaker, AC contactor, thermal relay, DC power supply, miniature electro-magnetic relay, sorts of indicator lights and host command devices.

This thesis introduces a frequency converter constant pressure water supply system which controlled by the fuzzy controller DB-3000A and the frequency converter INVTG9011T4.The double pump can be controlled by a frequency converter efficiently. The frequency conversion constant pressure water supply system is designed by a operation mechanism which has dual-pump with four status. The pressure of water supply has been decided by the water yield of consumers. The pressure value of pressure gauges decides the degree of working load. This system worked well in practical application. This system has advantages like security in operation, flexibility, electricity saving, extended the life of the pump, and so on.

In view of the constant pressure water supply system with multi-parameter、non-linear and large delay characteristics, this paper employs PLC and the technology of frequency conversion control, and introduces fuzzy control technology to perform constant pressure water supply. The controller can automatically adjust the parameters online, i.e., according to the different work conditions, the controller can choose the proper control parameter, so that the water pressure regulation in water supply system will obtain effective control. The simulation results and the practical application show that our fuzzy controller achieves competitive performance: the faster response, reduced overshoot, greatly shortened transient time, the fewer oscillation, strong robustness and good stability, which can improve efficiency and bring cost saving.

Aimed at the instable pressure of water supply, poor reliability and security problems of the water supply system in high-rise building, this paper adopts frequency conversion and constant pressure water supply technology to design the water supply system with no tower under constant pressure in high-rise building. The water supply system, with PLC as the control center, uses sensor technology and digital PID control to realize constant pressure water supply. Application results show that the water supply system has the characteristics of reliable running, simple operation, saving energy and reducing consumption.

Firstly, this paper analysed the existed problem on traditional controlling way of city water supply system, then elaborated the controlling principle of frequency conversion. Finally, a designed practical example by frequency conversion technical is given on the water supply system. It is proved that frequency conversion can maintain constant pressure water, and it is a very ideal efficient measure for energy saving. Therefore design and transformation on water supply system has a broad market application prospect.

This article designs one constant pressure water supply system based on PLC. In this system, PLC and frequency converter is the main control system. Moreover, the water-supply system with a variable frequency and constant pressure is based on PCL and combines with water supply pump, pressure gage and other equipment. Water supply system realizes the water supply of constant pressure and variable flow.
