Nowadays, augmented reality technology is changing our traditional reading way. Children’s books can provide immersive experience which is personally on the scene to children with augmented reality scene, three-dimensional modeling technique, etc. It is no doubt that augmented reality scene not only creates an art present surface of enhancing effect for authors, but also gives an extra process of experience to participators. The paper discusses the key technology of ARToolKit, and applies ARToolKit to children’s books area.

In this chapter the main issue is focused on the reconstruction of Reggio and Messina after the earthquake of 1908 has been an opportunity to address the broken and - what is much more difficult and required - the rebalancing of memory and identity of places. Between July 2013 and September 2014 two teams of researchers at the University of Reggio and the MAP CNRS Marseille have formed a partnership to test new communications systems, technology and digital culture applied to cultural and architectural heritage. The responsibilities of the MAP CNRS, directed by Prof. Livio De Luca and the field of investigation and experimentation defined by Atelier of thesis of Prof. Francesca Fatta, found an interaction system useful for the definition of design systems for a Museum of collective memory in Reggio Calabria. The digital experiments were compared with the taking of photogrammetric works recovered from the earthquake of 1908 in Reggio, three-dimensional modeling and integrated reading systems aimed at the restoration and augmented reality.

The three-dimensional modeling of the maxillofacial soft and hard tissue has a great significance for the study of facial growth and development, diagnosis and treatment of facial deformity, postoperative face prediction and treatment evaluation. The key technology of the maxillofacial soft and hard tissue reconstruction is described.

Finite element analysis for thick composite structures is rather complicated. Two-dimensional modeling, which is relatively easy to make, can cause inaccurate result since the plane stress condition cannot be applied, while three-dimensional modeling is hard to make. In the three- dimensional modeling, it is difficult to model all the layers with different material properties and ply orientation in the structure. In this paper, an equivalent modeling is proposed and numerically tested for analysis of thick composite structures. The method has been verified for the modeling of composite plate and circular composite tube in order to find their bending deflection and natural frequency. MSC/NASTRAN and PATRAN are used for the calculation. It has been confirmed that three-dimensional analysis must be conducted for thick structures and the equivalent modeling is proven to be accurate when layers with same characteristics are properly grouped. The proposed modeling technique has been applied to analyze hingeless composite rotor hub system designed by Korea Aerospace Research Institute (KARI). Detailed three-dimensional modeling for this structure is almost impossible to make due to its complex geometry of thick composite structures. Using the proposed equivalent modeling technique, failure analysis was performed based on stress/strain criterion and the safety of each part was checked. Deflection of the hub system was validated comparing with the result from the simple analytical beam model, and the numerical result will be used for the next design cycle of the composite hub system.

Through we do some research on the key technology and implementation of the air product simulation resource model library, we propose a general system framework, the solid modeling method of the components and parts, the design of the parameter table and the model library integration and application. With these key technologies, we design and develop three-dimensional modeling library system, CATIA taken as a platform.
