There is a need to build power grid on RTDS in order to testing performance of security and stability equipment (SASE). The paper divide a large-scale province power grid into four region grid with present RTDS hardware capacity in a view to include all stations installing SASE in a single region grid and disconnect lines as few as possible between adjacent region grids. The paper gives method of manually calculating and modeling node’s power balance, keys of building region grid and matters needing attention transforming parameter format from BPA to RTDS, and then simulating results show that steady state error of some variables are less than one percent, all less than 10 percent and transient characteristics help SASE to start-up to some extent.

large-scale temperature stability control method is studied in this paper. In the process of large-scale temperature control, the stability of control is a very important indicator. To this end, this paper proposes a large-scale temperature stability control algorithm based on hierarchical control method. Balance equation of large-scale temperature stability control is created for the effective transmission of control data. According to the constant control theory, large-scale temperature stability control system design is achieved. Experimental results show that the proposed algorithm for large-scale temperature stability control system design, can greatly improve the stability of control, and get the satisfactory results.

. a secure and stable operation of power grid will provide critical assurance for sustainable development of society and economy. Through power grid dispatching auxiliary decision-making system, key information could be obtained from various information sources of the control center such as energy management system, security and stability control system and safety production information system. In case that accident occurs, this intelligent auxiliary decision-making system will provide full assistance to dispatcher with dealing with accidents by starting failure diagnosis function and producing project for coping with accidents. Accelerate transformation of accident handling style from empirical style to analytical and intelligent handling style to improve technical level of sensing of power grid operation status, risks assessment, failure diagnosis and dispatching.

Security and stability control (SSC) system or special protection system (SPS) is an important means to ensure the safe operation of power grid. In view of the insufficiency that the current open-loop testing method cannot fully test the SSC system on-site, a remote real-time closed-loop test method is proposed. The solutions of key techniques such as information interaction, remote communication and signal conversion in remote test system are studied. Then the platform architecture and standard interface of the remote test system are designed. A remote test platform for SSC system is developed, and there application modes of the platform is deeply analysed. Finally, taking SSC system of Yunnan AC power outgoing grid as pilot application, experiment of two substations on-site is carried out. The results in practical project further prove the effectiveness of the method presented in this paper.
