This paper adopt universal finite element calculation software to carry out force analysis for Shunqiao trench-buried inverted siphon,computer is applied in analysis of trench-buried inverted siphon. Deducing variation law of the inverted siphon’s stress and displacement in construction process and operational process. The calculation results Further shown design scheme’s Rationality and safety. which provide reliable reference of design and construction for the trench-buried inverted siphon.

Simplified calculation of initial stiffness of end-plate bolted connections is given in the paper. Considering the influence of the end-plate bolted connections to the internal force of the steel portal frames, the modified elastic calculation of internal force is suggestted. Comparing with the finite element calculation results of different span steel portal frames, the calculated value is agree with the finite element calculation results. End-plate bolted connections are semi-rigid connections, and the flexibility of the connections affects the behavior of the frames, the internal force of rigid frames should be modified when semi-rigid connections used. The modified elastic calculation of internal force of the steel portal frames with end-plate bolted connections is simple and has good agree with the finite element results, which can give reference to engineering design.

Variation law of inclined clay-core wall earth dam’s stress and displacement in construction process and operational process is researched. The research results are shown: inclined clay-core wall earth dam of Hongxing reservoir is economic and reasonable, structure is safe and reliable, and every index meets the requirements for design.

In this work, the simplified Lemaitre damage model was integrated into the ANSYS finite element calculation software. The model is implemented as a dynamically linked library of custom material for 2D problems. The model was tested on a cylindrical specimen with an annular cut. The stages of damage accumulation in the numerical experiment coincide with similar numerical experiments known in the literature.

We designed the experimental model of main tower of Tianjin Haihe bridge according to photoelastic experiment theory and proceeded stress experiment at the positions where the stress calculation is precise. Then we compared the experimental results with the finite element calculation results to verify whether the photoelastic experiment fits the stress calculation of main tower of cable-stayed bridge. The experimental results show that the photoelastic experiment could supply gist for the stress calculation of main tower of cable-stayed bridge, which is significant far and wide.
