This work aims to present a multi-scale numerical approach based on a 2D finite element model to simulate the diffusive behaviour of biocomposites based on randomly dispersed Diss fibres during ageing in water. So, first of all, the diffusive behaviour of each phase (fibres/matrix) as well as of the biocomposite was determined experimentally. Secondly, the microstructure of the biocomposite was observed by optical microscope and scanning electron microscope (SEM), and then regenerated in a Digimat finite element calculation software thanks to its own fibre generator: "Random fibre placement". Finally, the diffusion problem based on Fick's law was solved on the Abaqus finite element calculation software. The results showed an excellent agreement between the experiment and the numerical model. The numerical model has enabled a better understanding of the diffusive behaviour of water within the biocomposite, in particular the effect of the fibre/matrix interface. In terms of durability, the layered structure of this biocomposite has proven to be effective in protecting the plant fibres from hydrothermal transfer, which preserves the durability of the material.

In order to explore the temporal and spatial evolution of the mechanical characteristics of hydraulic tunnels with high ground temperature during construction, a numerical simulation study was performed on the construction process of the tunnel using finite element calculation software, and the results were compared with the field monitoring results. The results showed that the displacements of the top arch and waist arch of the tunnel increased with time, and the top arch of the tunnel entrance was greatly affected by the excavation. The plastic zone was larger in the top arch and the bottom arch of surrounding rock, and smaller in the waist arch. The plastic strain of the top arch and bottom arch of surrounding rock was smaller, while the plastic strain of the waist arch was larger. The parallel excavation and lining construction have less impact on the surrounding rock.

Background: Desirable dietary pattern (DDP) is a variety of food nutrition intake that is calculated based on energy (calory) consumption. A DDP index close to 100 has a meaning that the food intake varies. Badan Ketahanan Pangan RI (BKP) and Nutrisurvey have developed a DDP index calculation software. As an alternative, ddp package of R software can be also calculated ddp index. Objectives: To apply the ddp package of Software R in calculating and analyzing DDP of individuals both descriptive and inferential analyses and to compare the ddp package with the application of PPH Susenas and Nutrisurvey Software. Methods: This research applied survey and simulation methods. The survey was conducted on the 3rd-semester students of the Food Technology Department, University of Sultan Ageng Tirtayasa via an online survey. They administered both closed questions about dietary patterns and opened questions of a list of their daily food intake. Calculation and analysis of the DDP applied in the valid data in the ddp package of software R. The DDP analyses were followed by both descriptive and inferential analyses including t-test and simple linear regression. Results: The ddp packaged required 7 minutes to input the menu data of each person per day. Compared to Nutrisurvey, it required only 5 minutes. There were different results between the ddp package and Nutrisurvey because a category of food could absent in the Nutrisurvey databases. The harmonization application of the DDP analysis Susenas, on the other hand, had similar results. Both descriptive and inferential analyses as a further analysis can be applied easily. The descriptive analysis showed that the majority of respondents had a low value of energy, protein, and carbohydrate, while the inferential statistic resulted in that the food expenditure more than 70% significantly affected the DDP score. Conclusions: The ddp package could calculate and analyzed the DDP very well and had an equal result with the harmonization application of the DDP analysis susenas. Although the application process of the ddp package required a longer time than that of Nutrisurvey, the databases of the ddp package were more precise and suitable for the DDP calculation and analysis in Indonesia.

Nowadays, domestic motor manufacturers often use high-speed circuit and magnetic circuit parameters in engine models. In addition, the calculation accuracy is low and cannot fully meet the requirements of a modern engine design. The field-circuit combination algorithm is based on electric field analysis, which avoids many rough assumptions and empirical formulas; its calculations are more accurate and reliable than traditional algorithms. It is used to analyze and calculate the steady-state operating conditions and characteristics of motors, which can effectively improve the design level of China’s boss synchronous motors. This article mainly introduces software algorithms and auxiliary FDTD methods. In this article, we use the field-circuit coupling algorithm to develop an electromagnetic calculation software package for synchronous motors and establish a mathematical model for the potential field-circuit coupling algorithm. We use the cassette electromagnetic calculation program to solve the model, evaluate the synchronous motor, and use historical data to modify the model and improve the accuracy of the development-state evaluation of the electromagnetic calculation software package for the synchronous motor based on the motor electromagnetic circuit coupling algorithm. The experimental results of this article show that the field circuit combination algorithm increases the development of the electromagnetic calculation software package for synchronous motors by 55% and reduces the false alarm rate and false alarm rate. Finally, by comparing the phases of traditional algorithms, we analyzed the excitation circuit combination algorithm to calculate the parameters and performance of the synchronous motor.

In this paper, we have obtained new analytical solutions of (3+1)-dimensional SWW equation with Kudryashov method. The study of Shallow water wave equation plays an imperative role in wave theory. For calculation software Maple is used. The solutions obtained by this method are new.

AbstractA standardized small bowel (SB) cleansing scale is currently not available. The aim of this study was to develop an automated calculation software for SB cleansing score using deep learning. Consecutively performed capsule endoscopy cases were enrolled from three hospitals. A 5-step scoring system based on mucosal visibility was trained for deep learning in the training set. Performance of the trained software was evaluated in the validation set. Average cleansing score (1.0 to 5.0) by deep learning was compared to clinical grading (A to C) reviewed by clinicians. Cleansing scores decreased as clinical grading worsened (scores of 4.1, 3.5, and 2.9 for grades A, B, and C, respectively, P < 0.001). Adequate preparation was achieved for 91.7% of validation cases. The average cleansing score was significantly different between adequate and inadequate group (4.0 vs. 2.9, P < 0.001). ROC curve analysis revealed that a cut-off value of cleansing score at 3.25 had an AUC of 0.977. Diagnostic yields for small, hard-to-find lesions were associated with high cleansing scores (4.3 vs. 3.8, P < 0.001). We developed a novel scoring software which calculates objective, automated cleansing scores for SB preparation. The cut-off value we suggested provides a standard criterion for adequate bowel preparation as a quality indicator.
