In the paper, the hybrid of daylight and artificial light is designed in the lighting of an underground tunnel in order to achieve the effect of energy saving and emission reduction. Light pipe and LED lamps are arranged in the lighting of the underpass. The software of DIAlux and Skyvision are used to simulate for the average luminance, average illuminance and energy-saving index parameters. The energy-saving effect of hybrid lighting system with natural light and LEDs is analyzed.

The lighting system is an integral part of the whole building. Lighting control system is an important part of the lighting system and lighting design. As increasingly severe of the energy issues, energy saving has become one of the problems to be solved in the lighting control system. This paper takes a normally used office as an example. Control the blinds and the lamps in the office reasonably. On the premise of the full use of daylight, make the office achieve the most comfortable illumination by using artificial lighting supplies.

The lighting systems of homes and workplaces today must be constantly redesigned to be environmentally friendly, sustainable, healthy and ergonomic. This requires maximizing the flow of daylight into indoors, minimizing the amount of pollutants used in their manufacture, long durability materials considered in the design, maximizing energy efficiency of the lighting system components, mimicking the spectrum of natural light and providing some control of lighting modes by the user. Taking into account all these considerations, it is proposed the design and construction of an intelligent lighting system that regulates the use of natural and artificial light, prioritizing the availability of the former over the latter in order to be implemented in housing in the region of the Yucata´n peninsula. To achieve this goal, it is designed and built a light sensor with its own signal conditioning circuit, a light tube of stainless steel with luminous flux control, a dimming circuit for a lamp that uses light-emitting diodes (LEDs) and a control system with a PIC18f4550 micro controller.

There are often no windows and lack of natural light in the most of underground space, so lighting design is the most basic for most underground architectural design. Natural lighting is not only for comfortable indoor energy-saving and healthy light environment, but also for the good indoor environment. We need to use natural light and artificial lighting conduction system to offset the lack of natural light and improve the effect of underground space of natural light.

With the rapid development of the social economy, people are paying more and more attention to environmental issues. If society wants sustainable development, it must put energy conservation and emission reduction on the agenda. At this stage, China has vigorously promoted energy conservation and emission reduction, and all walks of life have gradually embarked on the green road of energy conservation. In recent years, energy saving measures has been widely used in China's oilfield electrical engineering. The author explores and analyzes the basic principles of energy saving measures applied in oilfield electrical engineering, and proposes an effective way to apply energy saving measures in oilfield electrical engineering, hoping to contribute to the energy saving effect of oilfield electrical engineering.

In response to the concept of Olympics, Beijing Olympic buildings use solar light pipe systems for daylighting, such as the underground passage in the Olympic Forest Park and the gymnasium of University of Science and Technology Beijing. In this paper, the solar light pipe systems in the two buildings have been measured to find out whether indoor daylighting performance can meet daily use requirements. At last, compare the result with T8 fluorescent lamps to get the energy saving effect of two buildings. Calculating results showed that indoor illuminance of the two buildings can achieve daily use requirements when external illuminance reaches 25036lx and17895lx, and the amount of electricity that can be saved are 2514KW•h and 22186KW•h per year.

The light emitting diode (LED) street lighting systems based on solar photovoltaic technology have been used for some time. In this paper, we present an analysis aiming at assessing the feasibility and economic performance of a solar-powered street lighting system for a 1km road. The present study introduces the architecture of a classical solar-powered LED street lighting system and estimates the total investment cost for a 1 km highway with 2 lanes. The cost comparison of solar-powered LED lighting and sodium lamps using grid was carried out. The calculations show that the energy saving effect of solar-powered LED lighting systems is obvious but the initial investment of solar-powered LED systems is more than sodium lighting systems using grid. The investment cycle is about 2.2 years under the current conditions.

Using an appropriate evaluation index for energy consumption is advantageous for evaluating energy saving effect of buildings correctly and carrying out energy-saving action reasonably. As a result, it is important to establish a practical quota of energy consumption for promoting energy-saving emission reduction. Energy consumption for residential buildings has been influenced by the behavior of residents in the building largely, and has a higher uncertainty, so it brings great difficulty to researches. Considering the characteristics of residential buildings, this paper uses comprehensive energy consumption per unit as evaluation index. Based on the investigation results and related studies, the residential buildings in Changsha are analyzed with statistical methods, in order to know more about the energy consumption level and structure for the residential buildings in Changsha. This paper shows the characteristics of the energy consumption of the residential buildings in Changsha, and work out the range of the comprehensive energy consumption per unit. The result provides a reference to make out energy policy and enhance the management of energysaving. It can be also used to guide the residents have a reasonable electric power utilization.
