To relieve the pressure of the energy reservation and emission reduction, and to enhance the effect of the economy and environment profits, the report establishes an evaluating model based on the value of coal saving and the pollutant emission reduction value and the count of the electricity sale-purchase increment, which is various and cross-field. Through the model, the report evaluates the 4 cross-field projects by comparing the single coal-fired power transaction with the various, and analyses the outcome of the transaction in terms of the economy and environment. Finally coming to the conclusion, more economy and environment profits will be achieved when various power generation methods are used in power generation exchange.

In the context of low-carbon economy, this paper analyzes the necessity of technical transformation of the loss reduction in power networks. A low-energy-consumption benefit evaluation model was established for some technical transformation projects for loss reduction, so was a low-emission benefit evaluation model for loss reduction measures. Through field survey and statistical computation, the CO2 emission reduction potential of a selected power supply company, by adopting technical transformation for loss reduction, was comprehensively assessed. On this basis, the optimization of low-carbon technical transformations for loss reduction in plan and construction, operation and maintenance, and management and administration was put forward, in order to realize the mentioned CO2 emission reduction potential of the company.

Long-term runoff forecasting important reference significance for the long-term planning of cascade hydropower stations. The traditional forecast accuracy evaluation is based on the deviation between the predicted runoff and the measured hydrological sequence, but fails to consider the effect on long-term scheduling. In this paper, a runoff forecasting evaluation method for long-term scheduling is presented. First, a monthly distribution method based on the forecast value of annual runoff is proposed to describe the uncertainty of the forecast. Then, a power generation plan model with the maximum generation objective and an actual generation benefit evaluation model are established to study the effect of runoff forecasting in scheduling. At last two indexes of “Incremental generation” and “Incremental benefit” based on the comparison of actual benefit with and without a forecast plan are given to evaluate the performance of forecasting. The case study shows that the proposed evaluation method can reflect the actual benefit brought by the forecast information, which provide more practical guidance for the hydropower station.

The rapid development of national economy has brought serious environmental pollution problems. The issue of emission reduction has become one of the most important missions in China. As one of the largest sources of energy consumption and pollution emission, the power generation industry plays an important role in the problem of emission reduction. According to Chinese actual conditions, this study takes into account the inter-regional difference between the tasks of environmental emission reduction and the corresponding costs due to various factors, and proposes an inter-regional power-generation economic exchange analysis model under environmental constraints. The model integrates the environmental constraints, as well as the transmission costs and transmission lines constraints, and provides the results of optimal exchange combinations. The analysis of an example indicates that the inter-regional economic power exchange can maximize inter-regional advantages and minimize the costs of economic dispatch, which requires a sound transmission system and transmission pricing system.
