stability outage probability of LDPC code is caused by the density evolution on given channel, we formulate the stability outage probability for block fading channel by researching the SOP for the BEC channel and AWGN channel, Simulation results show that how the class of capacity-achieving ensembles on the erasure channel is bounded away from the outage limit on a block fading channel by studying of the SOP for AWGN channel and BEC channel.

This paper investigates the performance analysis of OQPSK in HF band for wireless sensor networks. An analytical model for getting symbol error rate (SER) is given in presence of Bi-Kappa noise in HF band. And the SER of OQPSK is given in AWGN and Rayleigh fading channel. Simulation results HF noise as Bi-Kappa noise should be investigated in HF band for WSN.

In this paper, we investigate construction methods for producing nonbinary LDPC codes, and a family of nonbinary LDPC codes over is presented and its properties are derived. Compared to the second method presented by Ref. [5], simulation results show that the proposed LDPC codes perform well over the AWGN channel under belief propagation decoding algorithm and have an almost same BER curve as the ones in Ref. [5]. However, the resultant construction method is simpler than the latter’s.

AbstractThe hardware impairments of physical transceivers that create distortions degrade the performance of communication. In this paper, we investigate the impact of hardware impairments on the outage performance of dual-hop amplify-and-forward (AF) cooperative networks with partial relay selection. Specifically, the approximated closed-form and asymptotic expressions for the outage probability of dual-hop AF relaying networks with hardware impairments are derived over Rayleigh fading channel, which provides a fast and efficient means to evaluate the impact of hardware impairments on the system performance. In addition, simulation results and intuitive discussions are provided to show the correctness of the analytical results. The finding of this paper suggests that the outage error floor exists when the hardware impairment exists.

Abstract In this paper, LDPC codes and OFDM technologies are studied, and combines LDPC and OFDM to simulate and verify the performance. The encoding of LDPC and logarithmic domain BP decoding algorithm and the principle of OFDM are introduced. Through MATLAB, the simulation of OFDM-LDPC system in different channel, different code length, different iteration times, LDPC and OFDM-LDPC in the same conditions are compared. Through simulation analysis, we can know that the performance of OFDM-LDPC system will improve with the increase of the code length. When the SNR is small, the number of iterations has little effect on the performance of OFDM-LDPC system. When the SNR is large, the performance of the system will be improved with the increase of the number of iterations. The performance of OFDM-LDPC codes is better than that of LDPC codes. The performance of OFDM-LDPC code is better than LDPC code in multipath Rayleigh fading channel.

With the widespread effective usage of LEDs the visible light communication (VLC) system has brought out an increasing interest in the field of wireless communication recently. VLC is envisioned to be an appealing substitute to RF systems because of the advantages of LEDs such as high communication security, rich spectrum, etc. For achieving bearable inter symbol interference (ISI) and high data rates, OFDM can be employed in VLC. In this paper, the performance of VLC system with popular unipolar versions of OFDM viz. Flip-OFDM and ACO-OFDM is analyzed in fading channels. From the simulation results it is seen that the Flip-OFDM-VLC system outperforms the ACO-OFDM-VLC system in terms of bit error rate and is well suited for future 5G applications.
