The serious eco-environmental hazard affecting hilly city have appeared. we should input more investment into environmental protection, and develop green technology and recycling economy. In order to guarantee ecological security, the countermeasures for ecological infrastructure construction are put forward, establishing the green space system including suburban forest, farmland and green space, recovering wetland ecosystem, optimizing industrial structure and urban spatial distribution, and developing recycling economy, establishing ecological infrastructure monitoring network and information forecast system, carrying out ecological management.

Rainwater utilization system using green technology, not only can reduce the pressure of rainstorm on the city drainage system, and replenish groundwater resources, but also control urban non-point source pollution. At present, rainwater indirect utilization is widely used. This research explored the Kunming urban green space system typical for each pollutant runoff reduction effect, purifying regularity and removal mechanism in order to provide a theoretical basis for its application.

Green space system planning is the most direct method to improve urban ecological environment from the perspective of planning. However, traditional way of green space system planning exposes its limitation of paying attention to only urban area, accompanied by the prominent appeal for the enhancement of urban ecological environment and living environment quality. Therefore, the study gives a preliminary discussion on the method of green spaces system planning based on GI theory by introducing the concept and characteristic of GI, and proposes urban-rural integrated green space environment formed by the organic combination of Hubs, Links, and Sites and an urban green space system able to keep the integrality and consecutiveness of natural ecological process, which offers reference for green space system planning of the new era.

The low-carbon urban construction is an important carrier of the energy saving and emmission reduction,which will lead to an new trend of future city construction.while regarded as the important component of low-carbon construction, low-carbon ecology community will promote city sustainable development. And it is characteristic of the naturalness, economy and sociality. Based on present situation of chinese ecology community construction, some strategies are presented, incuding that the first is urban planning at macro-level; the second is spatial plan, transportation system, service facilities and green space system at medium measure; the third is water environment plan, energy plan, architectural design from at micro level; the fourth is community housing structure and public participation from social policies.
