It is the key spatial pattern for city's ecological safety and health, and the basic guarantee of the city and citizens to attain the sustainable natural service. Those serious eco-environmental hazard affecting hilly city have appeared. we should input more investment into environmental protection, and develop green technology and recycling economy. In order to guarantee ecological security, the countermeasures for ecological infrastructure construction are put forward, establishing the green space system including suburban forest, farmland and green space, recovering wetland ecosystem, optimizing industrial structure and urban spatial distribution, and developing recycling economy, establishing ecological infrastructure monitoring network and information forecast system, carrying out ecological management.

The world is facing many environmental and economic problems resulting from rapid urbanization and over-exploitation of available resources as well as due to the dramatic increase of the population and corresponding increases in the number of cities. Technological and industrial development plays a big role in these problems. As a result, the term green technology became as a tool to solve these problems with an orientation towards sustainable development at all levels. , It seems to be very effective tool in modern urban planning which incorporates of all aspects of planning such as infrastructure and industry, energy, telecommunications, transportation and other vital areas in cities. These technologies are environment friendly inventions that often involve - energy efficiency, recycling, safety and health concerns, renewable resources, and more. Green technologies include several forms of technology that help to minimize negative effects on the environment and create new ways to achieve sustainable development. This paper is about green technology and its role in sustainable urban planning, it aims to clarify the most important areas for the application of this technology and the benefits provided by these technologies in improving the lives of the population in cities and a development orientation towards sustainability.

Against the background of carbon peaking and carbon neutralization, green technology innovation plays an important role in promoting the energy total factor productivity (TFP). This study verifies the impact of green technology innovation on energy TFP in a complete sample and the subsamples by region, by constructing a panel threshold model, and analyzes its influence mechanism on the basis of the mediating effect test based on annual provincial data of mainland China from 2005 to 2018. The empirical results reveal the following: first, with the level of economic development as the threshold variable, there is a threshold effect in the impact of green technology innovation on the energy TFP; second, green technology innovation has an impact on the energy TFP through industrial structure upgrading; that is, industrial structure has a mediating effect in the influence mechanism; and third, there is heterogeneity in the impact of green technology innovation on the energy TFP among different regions in China, and the threshold effect only exists in the western region, since the central and eastern regions have crossed a certain developmental stage.

The new sectoral estimates of industrial production in 1871, 1881, 1901, and 1911 are regionally allocated using census labor-force data. The regional aggregates suggest that the “industrial triangle” emerged over these decades out of a traditional surplus-recycling economy. The concomitant change in the industrial rankings argues against attributing the regions' different paths to their different initial conditions; surprisingly, too, overall growth does not seem closely tied to industrial development. The disaggregated estimates suggest in turn that the industrial structure of the various regions remained relatively similar, as if comparative advantages were generically industrial rather than sector-specific.

This paper describes the architecture of a comprehensive seismic monitoring system developed in 2009 by the British Columbia Ministry of Transportation and Infrastructure (MoT) and the University of British Columbia, Canada. The main purpose of the British Columbia Smart Infrastructure Monitoring System project is to instrument and monitor key structures to provide confirmation of their seismic capacity, assist in focusing retrofit efforts, detect structural damage, and provide rapid damage assessment of those structures, following a seismic event. The automatic creation of shakemaps following an earthquake provides information for the MoT’s non-instrumented bridges. The public notification systems and web pages have been developed to display real-time seismic data both from the strong motion network and seismic structural health monitoring network. Tools and methods have been developed to help transform the current practice of inspecting and evaluating structures to a more rational and effective one that uses the up-to-date sensing technology with fast and efficient techniques.

Energy and environmental policies in Singapore have had two goals — to help the Singapore economy grow, and to keep Singapore clean and green. Energy policies such as development of an energy industry and an energy trading hub have contributed to economic growth and high per capita income, while enhancing energy security. There has been clear success toward achieving water self-sufficiency while providing water for all, and Singapore has become a global leader in the development and commercialization of water reclamation technologies. On the environmental front, indicators such as the share of green space, the ratio of wastes recycled, and decrease in some air pollutants show progress toward being clean and green. Per capita energy consumption has jumped to a high level by international standards, due to industrial structure, but energy efficiency and carbon emissions (per capita and per $ of GDP), have improved.

Rainwater utilization system using green technology, not only can reduce the pressure of rainstorm on the city drainage system, and replenish groundwater resources, but also control urban non-point source pollution. At present, rainwater indirect utilization is widely used. This research explored the Kunming urban green space system typical for each pollutant runoff reduction effect, purifying regularity and removal mechanism in order to provide a theoretical basis for its application.

Abstract With the acceleration of industrialization, haze pollution has become a severe environmental pollution problem, and green technology innovation is one feasible way to alleviate it. Based on the PM2.5 concentration data of 30 provinces in mainland China from 2011 to 2017, we use a spatial panel model to investigate the spatial characteristics of haze pollution and examine the impact of green technology innovation on it. Results show that haze pollution has spatial correlation and a time lag. Its spatial correlation is associated with geographical distance as well as the compound influence of distance and economic development. Green technology innovation and foreign investment have inhibitory and negative spillover effects on haze pollution. Industrial structure and energy consumption structure play a partial intermediary role between green technology innovation and haze pollution, and the former has a significant negative spillover, while the latter has a positive effect. To reduce haze pollution, China should improve the level of green technology innovation, use foreign investment wisely, and enhance policy support and guidance. It should also promote the rationalization of industrial structure, optimize energy structure and implement energy substitution. Finally, it is crucial that it should strengthen regional collaborative governance and build a multi-agent governance system.
