Urethral duplication is a rare congenital anomaly affecting mainly males. Here, we report a case of urethral duplication in a 19 years old male presented as a scrotal sinus discharging pus for 1 year. Surgical removal of accessory urethra was done and postoperative period was uneventful.

Abstract Background: Subhepatic appendicitis is an exceedingly rare presentation accounting for 0.01% of Acute appendicitis. It is of prime importance to be aware of various variants and thereby managing such challenging cases accordingly.Case presentation: We present a middle-aged female patient with subhepatic perforated appendicitis and peritonitis who underwent an exploratory laparotomy and appendectomy.Conclusions: Surgical management of such patients is challenging due to an atypical presentation. The surgical management of such patients is discussed with a brief review of literature.

ABSTRACTSimultaneous occurrence of Neurocysticercosis (NC) along with Glioblastoma Multiforme (GBM) is a very rare presentation. We herein describe a case report of treated case of NC2 years back who presented with secondary GBM. The brief report highlights that there may be some associated factors which may lead to development of secondary GBM in preexisting helminthic infection.

ABSTRACT Arteriovenous malformations (AVM) are congenital vascular anomalies but are usually first noticed in childhood or adulthood. Head and neck is the most common location for AVM. Extracranial lesions are rare compared to intracranial lesions. The rapid enlargement of the malformation leading to symptoms is usually triggered by trauma or hormonal changes of puberty or pregnancy. Traumatic AVM of the head and neck are very rare. Here we report a case of AVM of cheek in an adult woman developed following a dental treatment. The diagnosis was confirmed by imaging and was treated surgically after angiography and embolization.

Tumours of the spermatic cord are rare. Most tumours of the spermatic cord are metastatic and are typically an incidental finding at orchidectomy for other pathology. Primary pathology is usually from the gastrointestinal tract. We report a very rare presentation of an asymptomatic gastrointestinal tumour as a spermatic cord mass.male patient presented with a painless scrotal swelling. Radical orchidectomy revealed an adenocarcinoma in the spermatic cord. Further investigations disclosed an adenocarcinoma of the descending colon, metastasing to the spermatic cord that gave a false notion of a scrotal swelling secondary to infection. This unusual situation reminds us that spermatic cord metastases are rare. In the event of nonresponding scrotal swelling to antibiotics, further investigations would be prudent, whilst awaiting the definitive pathology report from the radical orchidectomy.
