An expert system imitates the decision–making adeptness of a human expert. They are intended to answer complicated questions characterized mainly as if–then rules instead of traditional procedural code. A major problem facing the cultivation of rubber (Hevea brasiliensis) in developing countries is the destructive effect of pathogens which result in about fifty percent (50%) loss in crop yield. This problem persists, due to a communication gap between agricultural researchers, such that field extension officers, and farmers are hampered by various operational and logistic challenges. This paper is an effort to bridge this gap, and hence features an expert system that can be accessed online by farmers.  The expert system allows farmers to select disease symptoms presented in categories from a JAVA based user friendly graphical interface. The output generated by the rule–base engine, diagnoses the diseases of the rubber crop, and suggests curative and preventive measures. The main source of information for developing the expert system’ knowledge–base was the Rubber Research Institute, Iyanomo, Edo State, Nigeria.

Penelitian ini dilakukan berdasarkan kebutuhan akan adanya alat bantu bagi peternak maupun penyuluh dalam mendiagnosis penyakit pada ayam. Basis pengetahuan sepenuhnya diambil dari pengetahuan pakar yang dapat mendiagnosa dan menentukan nama penyakit yang diderita oleh ayam. Penelitian ini dibuat berdasarkan hasil analisis dengan membandingkan 4 jurnal internasional yang berjudul “Expert system of quail disease diagnosis using forward chaining method, An Expert System for Management of Poultry Diseases, Developling Mobile Expert Web-based System Using Brainstroming Method, Disease Diagnosis System”. Berdasarkan keempat jurnal tersebut dapat dikembangkan inovasi baru berupa Sistem pakar diagnosa penyakit ayam menggunakan metode Certainty Factor. Metodologi penelitian menggunakan wawancara dan studi literature sehigga dapat menggumpulkan data yang lebih lengkap. Sistem Pakar ini akan di implementasikan kedalam sebuah aplikasi mobile berbasis android dengan harapan memudahkan user dalam menggunakan karena dibuat kedalam aplikasi android sehingga bisa di install dalam handphone. Hasil akhir berupa suatu informasi data penyakit dengan nilai Certainty Factor/kepastian.Kata Kunci — Diagnosa Penyakit Ayam, Sistem Pakar, Android, Certainty FectorThis study was conducted based on the need for tools for farmers and extension workers in diagnosingdiseases in chickens. The knowledge base is completely drawn from the expert knowledge that can diagnose and determine the name of the disease suffered by chickens. This study was based on the results of the analysis by comparing four international journals entitled "Expert system of quail disease diagnosis using forward chaining method, An Expert System for Management of Poultry Diseases, Developing Mobile Expert Web-based System Using Brainstroming Method, Disease Diagnosis System". Based on the four journals can be developed a new innovation in the form of expert system of chicken disease diagnosis using Certainty Factor method. The research methodology uses interviews and literature studies so that it can collect more complete data. Expert System will be implemented into an android-based mobile application with the hope of facilitating the user in using because it is made into the android application that can be installed in the mobile phone. Health is a very expensive thing, so it takes an awareness to protect it. The human body has many limbs, one of which is the stomach. Gastric disease is a disease that cannot be accommodated, because if left untreated it can cause other diseases to arise and can also cause death if it is not immediately supported. Gastric disease can be caused by an inappropriate diet, a burden on the mind and also an infection caused by bacteria. The author took the initiative to create a web-based gastric disease diagnosis expert system using the Bayes theorem method which is useful for gastric disease sufferers in diagnosing their own gastric disease. The method used by researchers is the Bayes theorem method. The data collection technique used is quantitative data techniques. The results that have been achieved from this research are that it can prevent and minimize the risk of gastric disease in sufferers or the community.

Uterine disease is a disease that generally attacks female reproduction. Most women know a disease that is in their womb when the disease is declared severe or so-called advanced stage. With this expert system, it is hoped that human uterine diseases can be detected early and can minimize the occurrence of more dangerous diseases. The method used in this expert system is the Dempster Shafer calculation method. This expert system works by entering the symptoms experienced by the patient after which the system will work according to the calculations determined by the expert who entered the knowledge base. The result of this research is to build an expert system for diagnosis of gynecology using a website-based dempster shafer. This website can be used as the use of technology so that it can be used to diagnose uterine diseases precisely and accurately, so that people with gynecological diseases are handled more quickly from an early age.

Eye disease today is no longer a rare disease suffered by humans. Many symptoms encountered makes people become confused if the types of eye diseases from which they suffer. Type of eye disease that often affects people of Indonesia according to the Ministry of Health is conjunctivitis, Pterygium, Cataract and Glaucoma. It's no secret if in a meeting with the ophthalmologist will cost not less. Expert systems are computer-based systems that use knowledge, facts and reasoning techniques in solving problems that normally can only be solved by an expert in the field. Forward chaining inference engine used in this study to chronicling the symptoms are inconclusive, then the certainty factor method so that we can determine what percentage of the disease in the suffering of patients through the results of the count in the method. Application web-based expert system created to provide information to people with eye disease illness is entered in accordance with the symptoms.
