Abstract: During the COVID-19 pandemic, educational institutions were not allowed to carry out the face-to-face teaching and learning process as usual but were replaced with an online learning system. The offline learning system (outside the network) is very different from the online learning system whose effectiveness is not yet known. Meanwhile, effective learning is very important in the world of education. Effective learning provides maximum learning outcomes in accordance with the achievement plan. Certainty Factor is an expert system method that adopts expert knowledge that can be used to measure the effectiveness of online learning during the COVID-19 pandemic. This study aims to help parents and schools measure the level of effectiveness of online learning during the COVID-19 pandemic so that evaluations can be carried out for the development of more appropriate and better educational methods. Keywords: Certainty Factor; Effectiveness Online Learning; Expert System Abstrak: Di masa pandemic covid-19, lembaga pendidikan tidak diperbolehkan melakukan proses belajar mengajar secara tatap muka seperti biasanya namun digantikan dengan sistem pembelajaran online. Sistem belajar secara luring (luar jaringan) sangat berbeda dengan sistem belajar online yang belum diketahui efektivitasnya. Sementara itu, pembelajaran yang efektif sangat penting dalam dunia pendidikan. Pembelajaran yang efektif memberikan hasil pembelajaran yang maksimal sesuai dengan rencana pencapaian. Certainty Factor merupakan salah satu metode sistem pakar yang mengadopsi pengetahuan pakar yang dapat digunakan untuk mengukur tingkat efektivitas pembelajaran online dimasa pandemic covid-19. penelitian ini bertujuan membantu orang tua siswa dan pihak sekolah dalam mengukur tingkat efektivitas pembelajaran online selama masa pandemic covid-19 sehingga dapat dilakukan evaluasi untuk pengembangan metodependidikan yang lebih tepat  dan baik. Kata kunci: Certainty Factor; Efektivitas Pembelajaran Online; Sistem Pakar;

Aplikasi simplebiz merupakan sebutan umum dari 20 aplikasi bisnis berbasis desktop yang telah dibangun dan dikembangkan oleh PT. Bamboomedia Cipta Persada. Sampai saat ini jumlah pengguna dari aplikasi simplebiz di seluruh indonesia telah mencapai 10.508 orang, sedangkan jumlah technical support pada divisi IT-helpdesk di PT. Bamboomedia Cipta Persada hanya 2 orang. Berdasarkan dari permasalahan tersebut, maka diperlukan sebuah sistem yang dapat digunakan oleh pengguna aplikasi simplebiz untuk memperoleh solusi dari kendala yang mereka alami layaknya berkonsultasi secara langsung dengan seorang technical support, sehingga diharapkan mampu membantu para technical support pada divisi IT-helpdesk di PT. Bamboomedia Cipta Persada dalam menangani sekaligus mengurangi jumlah pengaduan yang diterima baik secara bertatap muka, melalui telepon, maupun melalui SMS. Pada penelitian ini telah berhasil dirancang dan dibangun sebuah sistem IT-helpdesk untuk maintenance dan tutorial aplikasi simplebiz menggunakan metode forward chaining dan certainty factor, dimana melalui hasil uji coba yang telah dilakukan pada sistem, menghasilkan persentase keyakinan dari solusi yang dihasilkan oleh sistem terhadap masalah yang dihadapi pengguna aplikasi simplebiz sebesar 80% dan tingkat keyakinan dari output terhadap kontribusi penyelesaian masalah tersebut adalah HAMPIR PASTI.

Extracurricular activities at MAN 1 Lamongan are still determined without any support from the system. Students are only given extracurricular information and can register according to the conditions if interested. This makes the extracurricular that students have chosen does not fully match their abilities. The result is a decrease in the number of members who are active in extracurricular activities due to loss of interest. A web-based system was developed to assist MAN 1 Lamongan in determining extracurricular according to interests and talents. Case-Based Reasoning (CBR) is the system framework and Certainty Factor (CF) is the algorithm for determining the certainty value. The result is that with test data of 68 students, the system recommends extracurricular well. Testing with Confusion Matrix obtained precision level of 96.03% (high), recall of 99.4% (high), accuracy of 95.76% (high)

Gingivitis is a disease in the form of abnormalities in the gingiva that can cause bleeding accompanied by swelling, redness, exudate, changes in normal contours which are sometimes considered normal by some patients even though it is considered serious by the Health Department. This study aims to educate the public in understanding the importance of knowing the condition of the body, especially the teeth that are most vulnerable to experience by the community. The lack of time required for consultation with experts resulted in this disease being left unattended. So it is necessary to develop IT-based consulting in the form of an expert system. The system is built using the certainty factor method. Certainty factor works by reading all the data submitted by the expert and gives the result in the form of the percentage of confidence the patient has gingivitis. Experts used in this system are dentists / dental specialists. The data were obtained from direct experts and the results of the consultations obtained new knowledge in the form of the percentage of the patient's confidence level with gingivitis. Data collection was obtained from Acute Gingivitis, Sub-Acute Gingivitis, Recurrent Gingivitis and Chronic Gingivitis as well as symptoms and solutions obtained from experts. This study contributes to a new service for patients who experience dental disease (gingivitis) without having to come directly to an appointed specialist. The level of accuracy of this system is quite helpful because the data source comes from direct experts so that the solution obtained can be an initial reference for patients before further treatment is carried out. The results of the study were in the form of softcopy and hardcopy that could be used as needed, based on the test data given to the patient, a 95% confidence level was obtained for the system trial results based on the patient's condition at that time. So that the results of the consultation are obtained in the form of information about the disease and the desired solution.

Seperti yang kita tahu bahwa penyakit kanker memiliki berbagai macam jenis seperti kanker paru, serviks, payudara, usus dan lain sebagainya. Kanker payudara (KDP) merupakan masalah kesahatan yang sangat serius di Indonesia. Kanker payudara menempati urutan pertama yang paling berbahaya dan dianggap sebagai ‘pembunuh’. Oleh karena itu, perlu adanya strategi diagnosis dini pada KDP untuk mengurangi risiko kematian akibat kanker payudara. Penelitian ini, menggunakan sistem pakar menggunakan metode forward chaining dan certainty factor untuk mendignosis dini KPD berdasarkan jenis gejala yang ada. Pengembangan sistem pakar pada penelitian ini menggunakan bahasa pemrograman CLIPS.

Parents need to understand the child's condition from an early age, pay attention to the behavior of children who are growing normally in general so that they can take various actions and also other things that are considered important related to the child's future. Choosing to enroll children in special schools is certainly supported by the daily lives of children who do require special behavior in studying school learning. The formulation of the research problem is to determine the class of children with special needs using the Certainty Factor method based on the diagnosis of symptom and characteristic data that can help teachers and parents get information about the types of characteristics of children with special needs students at the State Special School (SLBN) Serdang Bedagai. The characteristics of children with special needs according to the data on the number of symptoms and characteristics discussed are 52 symptoms and 5 characteristics. (Autism JK01, Tuna Grahita JK02, Deafblind JK03, Blind JK04, Tuna Daksa JK05. This application can help teachers and parents find out the characteristics of children with special needs quickly and accurately. This application can be used in every special school to determine early knowing the types of characteristics of children with special needs

Poultry farming in Indonesia is still not successful in meeting some of the domestic needs, including being vulnerable to attacks by dangerous animal diseases. People are also restless because of dangerous diseases from chickens that can be transmitted to humans due to consuming chicken meat that has been infected with the disease. The case study in conducting research to diagnose free-range chicken disease was carried out at the Bang Ari Chicken Farm on Jalan Jamin Ginting Pamen Complex No.14 Padang Bulan, Medan Baru District, Medan City. The required criteria data is the type of disease and symptoms of the disease that attacks native chickens as well as the treatment actions that will be taken against the diseased chickens according to the disease experienced. This study aims to build a web-based expert system in diagnosing free-range chicken diseases using the certainty factor method. From the case example, the results of the calculation of certainty factor on the symptoms of free-range chickens, the disease that has the largest percentage value is P 7, namely Chronic Cough Disease of 97.50%. The system for diagnosing free-range chicken disease was built using a web-based programming language and MySQL database.

Tanaman manggis merupakan salah satu komoditas hortikultura buah-buahan tropis asli indonesia dan bernilai ekonomis tinggi serta mempunyai prospek cerah untuk diusahakan. Salah satu kendala dalam budidaya manggis adalah rendahnya kualitas buah yang disebabkan oleh serangan OPT. Umumnya upaya dalam mencegah dan menanggulangi penyebaran penyakit dan hama pada tanaman manggis adalah berkonsultasi dengan pakar, namun keterbatasan yang menjadi kendala adalah terbatasnya ketersediaan pakar dalam suatu daerah. Melihat permasalahan tersebut maka pada penelitian kali ini dibuatlah sistem pakar berbasis website untuk mendiagnosis penyakit dan hama pada tanaman manggis dengan menerapkan metode Certainty Factor. Terdapat 5 penyakit dan 5 hama dengan 42 gejala, diantaranya 25 gejala pada penyakit dan 17 gejala pada hama yang dapat diidentifikasi dalam sistem pakar ini. Didapatkan nilai persentase sebesar  80% untuk hasil perbandingan diagnosis pakar dengan diagnosis sistem menggunakan metode Certainty Factor. Nilai tersebut diperoleh berdasarkan kesesuaian dari 50 data uji yang dibuat secara acak. Sistem pakar ini dapat membantu petani manggis dan masyarakat dalam mendiagnosis penyakit dan hama pada tanaman manggis.
