Eye disease today is no longer a rare disease suffered by humans. Many symptoms encountered makes people become confused if the types of eye diseases from which they suffer. Type of eye disease that often affects people of Indonesia according to the Ministry of Health is conjunctivitis, Pterygium, Cataract and Glaucoma. It's no secret if in a meeting with the ophthalmologist will cost not less. Expert systems are computer-based systems that use knowledge, facts and reasoning techniques in solving problems that normally can only be solved by an expert in the field. Forward chaining inference engine used in this study to chronicling the symptoms are inconclusive, then the certainty factor method so that we can determine what percentage of the disease in the suffering of patients through the results of the count in the method. Application web-based expert system created to provide information to people with eye disease illness is entered in accordance with the symptoms.

ABSTRACT<br />Many eye diseases experienced by some people, the types and symptoms also vary. Based on the history of eye disease there are four groups of red eyes, one of which is a visual acuity used in the study because of the large number of types of visual eye disease. So for the application of the expert system the scope of the diagnosis of visual red eyes dropped only on several types of eye diseases that are used namely: maendoftalmitis, panoftalmitis, and uveitis. The use of certainty factor is very suitable for expert systems that diagnose something that is uncertain so that it can avoid the diagnosis of visual eye disease in this study.<br />Keywords: Certainty Factor, Expert System, Eye Diseases, Red Eye Down Visus<br />ABSTRAK<br />Penyakit mata banyak di alami oleh sebagian orang, jenis dan gejalanya pun beragam. Berdasarkan anamnesis penyakit mata ada empat kelompok mata merah, yang salah satunya merupakan visus turun yang digunakan pada penelitian karena mengingat begitu banyaknya jenis penyakit mata merah visus tersebut. Maka untuk penerapan sistem pakar ruang lingkup diagnosa mata merah visus turun hanya pada beberapa jenis penyakit mata yang digunakan yaitu : maendoftalmitis, panoftalmitis,dan uveitis. Penggunaan certainty factor sangat cocok untuk sistem pakar yang mendiagnosa sesuatu yang belum pasti sehingga dapat menghindari kesalahan diagnose penyakit mata merah visus turun pada penelitian ini.<br />Kata Kunci : Certainty Facktor, Sistem Pakar, Diagnosa Penyakit Mata, Mata Merah Visus Turun

An expert system is a knowledge base system that solves problems using an expert's knowledge that is entered into a computer, thereby increasing productivity, Because an expert can work faster than a human lay works like an expert. Expert systems Also solve problems by imitating the ways in the which an expert expert offer section with problems in his field, one of the which is in the field of computer repair, the problem of computer damage Becomes a fairly complicated problem, this problem is Generally experienced by individuals and institutions. One of them is in school institutions that have computer laboratories. to diagnose computer use can damage the certainty factor method that helps identify damage to the computer and find the cause of damage to the computer based on the symptoms that occur and the solution to repair it. Certainty Factor is one of the techniques used to deal with uncertainty in decision making. In dealing with a problem, answers are Often found that do not have full certainty. This uncertainty is influenced by two factors items, namely the uncertain rules and user uncertain answers. Uncertain rules are rules of symptoms that are determined for a damage.


This paper describes the creation of an expert system that is used to diagnose diseases in chili plants using a web-based certainty factor method. This expert system is made based on the weight of symptoms by experts so that users can find out the disease suffered by chili plants based on symptoms that arise. The symptom weight was calculated using the certainty factor method. This method is used to accommodate uncertainties that are often expressed by experts when detecting a disease. The design and manufacture of this expert system are done using the PHP programming language, MySQL database, CSS and the CodeIgniter framework. The results of the analysis between expert and expert systems have 87.09% compatibility level, and based on the calculation of the feasibility of the system with the Delone and McLean model shows that 77.58% of respondents agree Pakarcabaiku.com is a successful system for detecting chili disease.

In this study, an expert system is used to detect symptoms of damage to computer hardware. With the application of certainty factor models, it is expected to be able to detect symptoms of damage to computer hardware starting with the symptoms of damage from the computer along with solutions for handling the damage. This study aims to produce a fault diagnosis application on web-based computer hardware. This application is expected to make it easier for users to find solutions regarding experienced hardware problems. This expert system application is made using the certainty factor method so that the resulting diagnosis will display symptoms that have more certainty factors. This application was designed using UML and the PHP programming language with black-box testing. The study was conducted by collecting data through literature study, browsing, and interviews. The research method used is the waterfall method. The time of the research is from September 2019 to February 2020. This research is in an application to diagnose damage to computer hardware. Computer Hardware Damage Detection Application can be a guide for computer users in overcoming the damage to hardware with certainty factor methods and can help users in caring for computer hardware so it is not easily damaged.

Along with the development of technology, people developed a system that capable of adopting processes and human thinking as an expert system that contains specific knowledge so that everyone can use it to solve a specific problem, namely the diagnosis of coral reef disease. The purpose of this study is to develop an expert system for diagnosing coral reef disease  in the form of websites using PHP with a MySQL database. Expert system for diagnosing coral reef disease problem is using Ripple Down Rules (RDR) method has a goal to discover symptoms that appear in the form of questions that can diagnose the coral reef disease based on website. Web based expert system is able to recognize types of coral reef disease after consultation by answering a few questions that are displayed by the application of expert systems and can infer some types of coral  reef disease. Data coral reef disease that already known adapt to rules which are made for matching the symptoms of coral reef disease.

To satisfy ABET's continuous improvement criterion, an instructor, teaching a course suggests, at the end of the course, an improvement plan to be implemented when the same course is taught next time. Preparation of such a course improvement plan may be mandatory if a pre-specified target level of students' learning is not attained. Since, manual preparation of a course improvement plan is difficult, an idea of generating it using an expert system is presented. The objective is to make the task of improvement plan preparation easier and enjoyable. The proposed expert system has a set of remedies and a set of rules in a data base. A web-based interface queries the instructor about teaching and assessment tools used in the course. The inference engine selects the most appropriate remedy based on instructor's preferences. A cloud implementation of the expert system has been used to test it for a course.

Paresthesia is a condition where the sensation on the skin is abnormal, such as tingling, itching or numbness, for no apparent reason. This condition can occur only temporarily or for a long time (chronic). Bucharestesia can be temporary (temporary) or chronic. Almost everyone has experienced temporary paresthesia. This sensation occurs when nerves are accidentally compressed in certain body positions, such as sitting cross-legged for too long or sleeping with your head on your hands. Temporary paraesthesia will go away on its own when the pressure on the nerves is relieved. However, if the tingling feeling persists even though the pressure has been relieved, then there may be another disease or disorder in the body that is the cause. Chronic paresthesia is often a symptom of a neurological disease or caused by trauma to the nerve tissue. A variety of diseases can cause chronic paresthesia including vitamin deficiency, neurological disorders due to repetitive movements or other diseases. Chronic paraesthesia requires medication and management to heal. However, sometimes chronic paresthesia cannot completely heal even after undergoing treatment even though an expert system is a computer-based system that uses knowledge, facts, and reasoning techniques to solve problems that usually only one person can solve. Expert systems also help their activities as highly experienced assistants. Expert systems can also provide analysis of problems and can also recommend to users some actions to make improvements.

AbstrakSistem pakar dapat berfungsi sebagai konsultan yang memberi saran kepada pengguna sekaligus sebagai asisten bagi pakar. Salah satu cara untuk mengatasi dan membantu mendeteksi tingkat resiko penyakit JK seseorang, yaitu dengan membuat sebuah sistem pakar sebagai media konsultasi dan monitoring terhadap seseorang sehingga dapat meminimalkan terjadinya serangan jantung yang mengakibatkan kematian. Metode Dempster-Shafer merupakan metode penalaran non monotonis yang digunakan untuk mencari ketidakkonsistenan akibat adanya penambahan maupun pengurangan fakta baru yang akan merubah aturan yang ada, sehingga metode Dempster-Shafer memungkinkan seseorang aman dalam melakukan pekerjaan seorang pakar. Penelitian ini bertujuan menerapkan metode ketidakpastian Dempster-Shafer pada sistem pakar untuk mendiagnosa tingkat resiko penyakit JK seseorang berdasarkan faktor serta gejala penyakit JK. Manfaat penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui keakuratan mesin inferensi Dempster-Shafer.Hasil diagnosa penyakit JK yang dihasilkan oleh sistem pakar sama dengan hasil perhitungan secara manual dengan menggunakan teori mesin inferensi Dempster-Shafer. Sehingga dapat disimpulkan bahwa sistem pakar yang telah dibangun dapat digunakan untuk mendiagnosa PJK. Kata kunci— Dempster-Shafer, Jantung Koroner, Sistem Pakar AbstractThe expert systems can serve as a consultant that  gives advice to the users  and  at once as an assistant to the experts. One way to cope and help detect the risk level of  one’s  coronary heart  disease, is to create the expert system as media of  consulting and monitoring a person so that can minimize the occurrence of heart attacks resulting in death. The Dempster-Shafer method is non monotonis reasoning method is used to look for inconsistencies due to addition or reduction of new facts that will change the existing rules, so that the Dempster-Shafer method enables one safe in doing the expert work. This research aims to apply the Dempster-Shafer uncertainty methods in expert system to diagnose the risk level of one’s coronary heart disease based on factors and symptom of coronary heart disease  The benefits of this research was to know the accuracy of  Dempster-Shafer inference engine.The diagnosis  results of  coronary heart disease  is  generated  by an expert system similarly with manually calculating result using the theory of Dempster-Shafer inference engine. Therefore we can conclude that the expert system that has been built can be used to diagnose Coronary Heart diagnosis. Keywords—Dempster-Shafer, Coronary Heart Disease, Expert Systems
