This chapter provides information on the use of Performance Improvement Management Software (PIM-DEA). This advanced DEA software enables users to make the best possible analysis of the data, using the latest theoretical developments in Data Envelopment Analysis (DEA). PIM-DEA software gives full capacity to assess efficiency and productivity, set targets, identify benchmarks, and much more, allowing users to truly manage the performance of organizational units. PIM-DEA is easy to use and powerful, and it has an extensive range of the most up-to-date DEA models and which can handle large sets of data.

The objective of this research is to understand cooperation performance using integration of Balanced Scorecard and Data Envelopment Analysis an to analyze the eficiency and efectivity level by utilizing Data Envelopment Analysis based on criteria in Balanced Scorecard. The sampling determination method used non probability sampling. The research data were collected from Cooperation Agency in Jombang Regency. The data analysis instrument was performance assesment using Balanced Scorecard Perpective based on financial perspective, customer, internal bisnis, learning and growth, and also eficiency calculation using DEA output oriented model. The result of this research concludes : from financial perspective is has been there was performance improvement in 2014 and 2 Cooperation were eficient; from customer perspective it has been discovered that there was performance decline in 2014 and 2 Cooperation were eficient; from internal bisnis perspective, it has been detected that there was performance improvement in the last year and 2 Cooperation were eficient; from learning and growth perspective, it that only one Cooperation was able to reach maximum eficiency. The purpose of this study is to test the efficiency of conventional banking especially Bank Persero, Mix Bank and Bank Pembangunan Daerah (BPD) using a non-parametric analysis of DEA. This research calculates the value of efficiency to the Bank under the category Business Activity (BUKU) as seen from the core capital approach. The sample in this study amounted to 43 banks consisting of 4 Bank Persero, 13 of mix Bank and 26 BPD. The data is published financial statements of banks concerned with the study for 5 years starting from 2008 until 2012. Analysis of the performance efficiency using the Performance Improvement Management Software (PIM-DEAsoft-V3.2) to determine the efficiency of each bank, and then conducted a one-way ANOVA test and two-way to test differences in the average of each category of banks. Bank Persero gain greater efficiency than conventional Bank and BPD and 4th BUKU already doing business more efficient. Keywords: Bank Efficiency, DEA

Precedent research based on data envelopment analysis (DEA) has been conducted to rank and benchmark the achievements of participating nations/regions in the Olympics, while this paper contributes to the Asian Games, with further concerns on two main issues, namely the common comparison basis for ranking decision making units (DMUs) and the reference feasibility between the inefficient DMUs and their benchmark targets. This paper extends previous DEA research by introducing an improved context-dependent DEA model, in which empirical results establish a unique and fair ranking system for all participating nations/regions, implying two corresponding suggestions for rank improvement. A series of stepwise learning targets are further identified, alternatively providing a gradual performance improvement path for the inefficient participants. The above results will be helpful for strategic decision making in sport management of the Asian nations/regions.
