The objective of the work was to analyze the autistic spectrum disorder and the current laws in Brazil. In addition to the concept of TEA, a special law composed of a total of 8 (eight) articles establishes the inherent rights of these people, and in its 2nd article, establishes guidelines for national policies, including the intersectoriality of service actions of development; community participation; comprehensive attention to the needs of autistic patients, etc. The type of study is a systematic review, research of this type has the primary objective of exposing the attributes of a given phenomenon or statement among its variables. Thus, it is recommended that it presents characteristics such as: analyzing the atmosphere as a direct source of data and the researcher as a switch instrument; not to broker the use of statistical artifices and methods, having as a greater apprehension the interpretation of phenomena and the imputation of results, the method should be the main focus for the approach and not the result or the fruit, the appreciation of the data should be achieved from intuitively and inductively through the researcher

Autistic spectrum disorder (ASD) is a complex neurodevelopmental disability with a genetic basis, and several studies have suggested a potential role of the reelin gene (RELN) in ASD susceptibility. Accordingly, genetic association studies have explored this potential association, but the results have been controversial thus far. For this reason, we assessed the association of four genetic variants of RELN (the 5′UTR CGG triplet repeat and polymorphisms rs736707, rs362691, and rs2229864) with ASD by means of a systematic review and meta-analysis. We retrieved studies comparing the distribution of the above-mentioned genetic variants between ASD patients and healthy controls. A meta-analysis was conducted using a random effects model, and calculations of the odds ratios (ORs) and confidence intervals (CIs) were performed. A sensitivity analysis and tests to determine the heterogeneity of the results were also performed. Eleven previous studies fulfilled the inclusion criteria and analyzed the association of the above-mentioned genetic variants and ASD. We did not find any significant association between the allele or genotype frequencies of the analyzed polymorphisms and ASD, and large heterogeneity was found for the rs736707 polymorphism. Moreover, no significant differences were found between the 5′UTR triplet repeat and this disorder. In light of current evidence, no single genetic variant within this gene is clearly associated with the development of ASD, and ethnic differences may explain part of the observed heterogeneity. Larger studies among different ethnic groups are needed to establish the role of specific genetic variants within RELN in the etiology of this disorder.

This paper addresses the advances that have emerged from the legal documents that ensure the rights of people with Autistic Spectrum Disorder (ASD). To that end, the aim of this paper is to analyze the changes that have occurred in the last ten years, which culminated in the approval of Law 12.764/12 (Berenice Piana Law). The methodology is of a qualitative nature, of documentary type, as it is a systematic review of the literature in the field of Education and Human Rights. The central aspects of this study focused on guaranteeing the rights of people with ASD in the field of education and health. During the performance of this study, it was observed in the literature that there are different approaches used to help the inclusion of individuals with ASD, however with the approval of Law 12,764/12, these individuals achieved a great victory, but there is still much to be done.
