In this study, several business intelligence dashboards were produced with the aim of providing convenience for schools in supporting the school accreditation process. Business intelligence is a tool to manage data and perform data analysis that can support school accreditation which will be collected into a data mart and the analysis process is carried out in the form of a cube. For the ETL process using the help of SQL Server Management Studio and SQL Server Development software and as a design for the dashboard creation using the Power BI software. This research has several dashboards including student achievement dashboard based on achievement level, student achievement dashboard based on year of achievement, and student achievement based on graduation which can be seen by year and gender of students.

Students’ attitudes and approaches to problem solving are claimed to be related to their ways they learn physics and to their success in solving physics problems. In this study, the Attitudes and Approaches to Problem Solving (AAPS) survey was used to reveal Turkish introductory university students’ attitudes and approaches to physics problem solving. The data were collected from 175 students, in the spring semester of 2015-2016 academic year, from an introductory physics course at a university in the Black See Region of Turkey. The analysis of the data was conducted by grouping the data by major, achievement level, and gender. They are no statistically significant differences between the averages of civil engineering and molecular biology majors or between male and female students. However, we obtained a small sample correlation of 0.22 between students’ attitudes and exam grades that suggests high achievers’ attitudes and approaches to physics problems are more expert-like than the attitudes and approaches of low achievers. Implications for problem solving strategies and directions for further research are discussed.

The thesis uses data in the database of campus card platform as the analysis object, combined with statistical methods and data mining technology to analyze the students consumption and the situation of the canteens. We use the Microsoft .NET and SQL Server 2008 business intelligence development tools to mine and analyze these data; know canteens consumption and learn about the business status and the popular shops of the canteen by using the K-means algorithm; analyze and predict students behavior and the situation of the canteen by using time series algorithm. It is convenient to manage the college students, and provide data support for university policy makers and shoppers to make plans.

As one of the educational institutions, Sekolah Dasar Islam Terpadu (SDIT) must be able to perform the data processing of students' grades well, because it will be used as one of the clear and valid benchmarks to determine student achievement level as learners. The conventional processing system of students' grades require a lot of time and effort for teachers and administrative staff to write down the marks in legs and report books, as well as to recapitulate student grades at the end of the semester. The manual processing of students' grades is also vulnerable to errors that come from inaccuracy in the process, thus affecting the accuracy of data and reduce the level of validity of information generated. The research discusses about the development of computerized academic information system in Sekolah Dasar Islam Terpadu (SDIT) with the aim to provide convenience in processing the data and accelerate the making of reports of achievement of learning. The scope of discussion is to focus on the management of student personal data, student's grades data, student mutation data, to the results of learning achievements through desktop applications using waterfall as the model of development system. With a reliable level of data accuracy, parents can obtain valid reports on student achievement, and SDIT stakeholders can receive strategic information for learning evaluation materials and determine future policy in school teaching and learning activities.
