Learning outcomes are the acquisition of learning carried out during the training and their competence tested at the end of the training period. Training with interests will get more results than no individual interests. The learning environment becomes important during the teaching and learning process for participants who take part in the training at the Job Training Center. This research was conducted with the aim of knowing the Contribution of Learning Interest and Learning Environment to the Learning Outcomes of Training Participants at the Job Training Center (BLK) Padang City. The type of research used is quantitative research while the method is associative. The population is BLK Padang training participants for the period 1 of 2021 in 18 vocational schools totaling 288 participants with a sample of 74 people. Data collection techniques in the form of questionnaires with data collection tools in the form of questionnaires and documentation. The data analysis technique is percentage, then continued with categorization through the respondent's achievement level formula and hypothesis testing using the t-test formula. The results of the analysis of interest in learning obtained the value of tcount > ttable, namely 8,613 > 1,987 with a significant result of 0.000 < 0.05, this illustrates that there is a significant influence between interest in learning and learning outcomes. Then the learning environment is obtained from the value of tcount > ttable, namely -6.384 < 1.987 with a significant result of 0.000 < 0.05, this illustrates that there is a significant influence between the learning environment on learning outcomes. By using a one-way test so that the results are Ho is accepted and Ha is rejected. This proves simultaneously (together) interest in learning and the learning environment has a significant influence on learning outcomes.

This study focused on the achievement levels of Grade 11 struggling learners using an electronic Strategic Intervention Material in Mathematics (eSIMath) in teaching least mastered competencies in the subject, Statistics and Probability for Senior High School. A Solomon four-group quasi-experimental research design was employed to two classes using eSIMath-based instruction, and two classes via conventional instruction, who were identified through a local diagnostic examination given by the teacher-researcher before the instruction for the second semester of the school year 2019-2020. The data gathered were analyzed using independent and dependent t-test, Dunnett's T3 test for post-hoc analysis of posttest scores, and assessment of mean gained scores. Findings of the study showed that the use of eSIMath-based instruction is an effective approach in the increase of struggling learners' achievement level in Statistics & Probability.

This study describes the academic achievement level in Algebra of the public secondary school students in the new normal as a whole and when grouped according to sex and parent's highest educational attainment. Utilizing descriptive-comparative and correlational designs, the academic achievement level, significant differences and relationships among the variables, and the perceived learning difficulties in Quadratic Functions were determined using mean, Mann-Whitney, Kruskal Wallis, Chi-square test of association, Spearman rank correlation, and frequency and percentage distribution. Results showed that the academic achievement level was low; no significant difference and relationship between sex and academic achievement level; there was a significant difference and relationship between parent's highest educational attainment and achievement level, and students' top difficulty is transforming quadratic functions into the form f(x)=[a(x-h)^2]+k. Therefore, Algebra teachers, school heads, and parents should take necessary interventions to address the problem.

The Turkology Departments in countries other than Turkey fulfill two functions. First, they aim to equip their students with sufficient Turkish language proficiency. Second, they offer students a university degree from the Language, History and Literature program. Therefore, regarding the students who are studying in these departments, their competence in Turkish language skills on an academic level is significant. Thus, the aim of this study is to determine the reading skills self-efficacy of Turkology students studying in Bosnia and Herzegovina and Algeria. The study explored if the students’ reading self-accicay changed in line with any of the variables of country origin, gender, and student achievement level. The research data were collected by adopting the “Reading self-efficacy scale of those who learn Turkish as a foreign language” prepared by Güngör and Kan (2020), and the data obtained was analyzed using IBM SPSS Statistics 25.0 package program. According to the results of the study, it was seen that the reading self-efficacy of Bosnia and Herzegovinian students was higher than the Algerians. Additionally, it was found out that as the achievement scores and language proficiency levels of the students increased their reading self-efficacy scores also increased. Next, the self-efficacy scores of the graduate students were found to be higher than those of the undergraduate students. In addition, there was no significant difference between the self-efficacy level of the students participating in the study according to their gender. Finally, based on the findings, suggestions were given to increase the reading self-efficacy of the students at the end of the study.

This paper presents the findings of a study that investigated the nexus between the parental level of education and the level of the English language achievement at the Ordinary Level (O/Level) Examination. Determining how socio-economic factors affect the achievement level of English, exploring what socio-economic factors affect the achievement of the English language, and identifying the primary socio-economic factors were the objectives. A non-experimental cross-sectional research design was used in conducting the study. The sample consisted of 291 volunteer participants from six schools in the western province. We administered a research-team designed Likert scale type questionnaire to gather the data. The instrument was pilot-tested with 74 participants. In a statistical approach to data analysis, a regression analysis was run in SPSS (version 26). Findings showed that the English language proficiency of the participants increased by 0.691 for each education level of the father, and it was increased by 0.789 for each education level of the mother. Equitable teaching of the English language, availing more time and classwork to improve the achievement levels of the English language, and using quality inputs to give more support to the students who receive lower grades were suggested as part of recommendations.
