Orthogonal frequency division multiplexing (OFDM) is a transmission system that uses multiple orthogonal carriers that are sent out at the same time. OFDM is a technique for mobile and wireless communication that has high-efficient frequency utilization, high data-rate transmission, simple and efficient implementation using the fast Fourier transform (FFT) and the inverse fast Fourier transform (IFFT), and reduces inter symbol interference (ISI) by inserting cyclic prefix (CP). One of the most important approaches in an OFDM system is channel estimation. In this paper, the orthogonal frequency division multiplexing system with the Rayleigh channel module is analyzed for different areas. The proposed approach used large numbers of subcarriers to transmit the signals over 64-QAM modulation with pilot add channel estimation. The accuracy of the OFDM system is shown in the measuring of the relationships of peak power to the noise ratio and bit error rate.

In recent years the application of the Hartley transform, originally introduced by Hartley (1942), has gained importance in seismic signal processing and interpretation (Saatcilar et al., 1990, 1992). The Hartley transform is similar to the Fourier transform but is computationally much faster than even the fast Fourier transform (Bracewell, 1983; Bracewell et al., 1986; Sorensen et al., 1985; Pei and Wu, 1985; Duhamel and Vetterli, 1987; Zhou, 1992). Surprisingly, we have not seen a clear definition of the 2-D Hartley transform in the published literature.

The Fourier transform of the convolution of two images is equal to the product of their Fourier transform. With this definition, it is possible to create a convolution filter based on the Fast Fourier Transform (FFT). The interesting complexity characteristics of this transform gives a very efficient convolution filter for large kernel images. This paper provides such a filter, as well as a detailed description of the implementation choices and a performance comparison with the “simple” itk::ConvolutionImageFilter.

In this paper, we have investigated the Proposed scheme coded DWT-OFDM system in comparison to conventional OFDM system over AWGN channel. 16, 32, 64 – QAM and PSK modulation schemes have been considered to evaluate the system. Moreover, two different wavelets have been used for examining the system. Simulations are performed using MATLAB software. It is found that proposed scheme based DWT-OFDM system performs better than conventional OFDM system under all the considered modulation schemes
