This study aimed to study whether the problem-based learning (PBL) as an educational strategy can be of great help in improving the quality of gross anatomy and the attitude of students towards the learning method in China. It was performed in Basic Science of Peking University Health Science Center. The study sample included 200 students and they were assigned to 20 groups. Data collection was done by a questionnaire survey and interview to examine the students’ learning attitudes and perceptions toward this platform as a possible learning tool. Data obtained were compared and the main themes were determined. At the end of data analyses, we gave feedback and evaluation. We found out the satisfaction of students with this learning method and the students’ interest and ability improvement after this teaching method. Also, we showed the problems and largest obstacle that the students face in this learning mode and their expectant evaluation method. The study clearly pointed out that the PBL benefits a lot for the students in the study of gross anatomy despite of the existing problems. In the future, we should implement PBL combined with the characteristics of traditional anatomy teaching in China.

ABSTRACT Introduction It is necessary for core knowledge of anatomy to be assimilated by all doctors in order to practice, but if it can improve their understanding of what they do and why they do it, this surely has to be of benefit for both the safety of the patient and satisfaction of the doctor as a professional. This intervention aimed to study whether problem-based learning (PBL) as an educational strategy can help in improving the quality of gross anatomy teaching and the attitude of students toward the learning method in India. Materials and methods The study sample included 100 students who were assigned to 10 groups (10 students in each group). Each PBL tutorial was conducted over three sessions. Pre- and post-tutorial tests were conducted. Data collection was done by a questionnaire survey to examine the students' learning attitudes and perceptions toward this platform as a possible learning tool. The obtained data were compared, and the main themes were determined. Results We found out the satisfaction of students with this learning method and the students' interest and ability for improvement after this teaching method. Also, the problems and obstacles the students faced in this learning mode were highlighted. Conclusion The study clearly pointed out that PBL benefits a lot of students in the study of gross anatomy despite the existing problems. In future, we should implement PBL combined with the characteristics of traditional anatomy teaching. How to cite this article Sharma P, Sachdeva K. Peer review is an important teaching method of writing. College English has a large vocabulary, complex situations and high degree of specialization, which are difficult points in teaching. Through peer review, students can benefit a lot, such as enhancing interest in college English reading and writing through the exchange of reading and evaluation, enhancing initiative in writing and improving their abilities to identify errors and appreciate English articles. In this paper, the applications of the learning method of peer review in college English teaching were investigated, and it was found that teacher’s behavior, time arrangement and student’s behavior were all particularly important and needed to be arranged in a scientific way. On the other hand, a student-oriented teaching model of “trinity” was also presented, which covered three target elements: ability, knowledge and education. In this paper, a fuzzy comprehensive evaluation method was used to evaluate the learning outcomes of peer review, and an evaluation indicator system for students’ learning ability and the weights thereof were established. According to the actual situation of the evaluated objects, four evaluation grades were selected, that is, excellent, good, fair and poor. Our teaching experiment showed that through this learning model, students have improved their English writing ability and reading comprehension ability to a certain degree, as well as their self-learning ability, which is beneficial to the consolidation of their learning effect.

Abstract Environment Education (or the Pendidikan Lingkungan Hidup-PLH) is expected to be one of the instruments that can raise the awareness of students in communicating with nature. Therefore, the teaching method is very important in delivering this material, so PLH will be interesting for students and achieving optimum results. This paper will demonstrate the results of Problem Based Learning by using certain media, including Story Telling Method, Role Play Method, Outdoor Learning Method, and Kamishibai Card Method in the learning process of PLH in 4 schools at Balikpapan, Bandung and Medan. The result shows that utilization of media as the methods  in PLH will be more easily understood by the students. How to Cite : Rachman, I. Matsumoto, T. Kodama, Y. Hadi D., A. (2016).
