Masalah penelitian adalah kurangnya kemampuan motorik kasar tunagrahita di Panti Sosial Bina Grahita Harapan Ibu Kota Padang. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui efektifitas permainan modifikasi bola basket terhadap kemampuan motorik kasar Tunagrahita di Panti Sosial Bina Grahita Harapan Ibu Kota Padang. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian eksperimen semu. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah penyandang tunagrahita ringan di Panti Sosial Bina Grahita Harapan Ibu Kota Padang. yang berjumlah 10 orang. Teknik pengambilan sampel adalah dengan teknik total sampling, maka sampel penelitian ini berjumlah 10 orang. Instrumen dalam penelitian ini menggunakan tes kemampuan motorik (Scott Motor Ability Test) untuk mengukur kemampuan motorik anak tunagrahita. Analisa data dan pengujian hipotesis menggunakan teknik analisis komparasi dengan menggunakan rumus uji beda mean (uji t) dengan taraf signifikan α = 0,05. Dari analisis data yang dilakukan diperoleh hasil : Terdapat efektifitas permainan modifikasi bola basket terhadap kemampuan motorik kasar Tunagrahita di Panti Sosial Bina Grahita Harapan Ibu Kota Padang, dengan perolehan koefisien uji “t” yaitu thitung = 7,87 > ttabel = 1,833.

Abstract Background Physical fitness and motor ability are associated with the incidence of locomotive syndrome (LS) in older adults. The relationships between physical fitness and motor ability at a young age to LS risk in later life remain unclear. This study examined the association between physical fitness and motor ability among university students and their risk of LS in middle and old age. Methods The participants were 231 male alumni aged 48–65 years from the Department of Physical Education of a university in Japan. Physical fitness and motor ability test results during their fourth year at the university were used. Physical fitness tests included the side-step test, vertical jump test, back muscle, grip strength, trunk lift, standing trunk flexion, and step-test. Motor ability was tested using the 50-m and 1500-m run, running long jump, hand-ball throw, and pull-up test. LS risk was assessed using a seven-question standardized self-administered Loco-check questionnaire. Participants were divided into three groups (low, medium, and high) based on physical fitness and motor ability test results at young age, and LS risk was assessed at an older age across the three groups using Cox proportional hazards models. Results From the 2017 follow-up survey, the median follow-up period was 37 years (interquartile range, 33–41), and LS risk was suspected for 31 (13.4%) participants. Better performance on the side-step test was associated with the reduced risk of LS (hazard ratio 0.32; 95% confidence interval, 0.101–0.983, P = 0.047). Conclusions Good agility (side-step test) at a young age may reduce the future risk of LS among middle-aged and older men.

The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of constructive play and visual-spatial intelligence on early mathematical abilities. The approach used is quantitative through an experimental method with 2x2 treatment by level design. This research was conducted on children in kindergarten group B in the city of Padang. The sampling technique uses Stratified cluster random sampling. The number of samples in this study were 40 children. Data collection in this study used an initial mathematical ability test and a spatial visual intelligence test. The data analysis technique in this study used two-way ANOVA to see the main effects and interactions, then using the Tukey test to see simple effects. The results of this study are as follows: 1) Early mathematical abilities provided with constructive games Lego have a higher influence than constructive games Beams (Fhitung= 5,16 > Ftabe (α=0,05)= 4,04). 2) There is an interaction between constructive play and spatial visual intelligence, in general it has a significant effect on the early math skills of kindergarten children in group B (Fhitung = 13,34 > Ftabel (α=0,05) = 4,04). 3) Early mathematical abilities that have high spatial visual intelligence with given constructive games Lego are higher than the initial mathematical abilities with constructive games (Qhitung = 4,24 > Qtabel (α=0,05) = 3,15). 4) Early mathematical abilities that have low spatial visual intelligence with given constructive games Beams have a higher value than the initial mathematical abilities given by constructive games Lego (Qhitung = -2,30 > Qtabel (α=0,05) = -3,15).

Permainan sepak takraw merupakan permainan tradisional yang memadukan dua permainan sepak bola dengan bola voli dipertandingkan di lapangan yang ukurannya menyerupai ukuran lapangan bulu tangkis permainan ganda. Permainan sepak takraw sudah menjadi permainan yang digemari baik dikalangan masyarakat umum dan pelajar Dalam bermain sepak takraw diperlukan beberapa teknik dasar. Salah satunnya adalah teknik dasar smash silang. Akan tetapi, mahasiswa Putra Jurusan Penjaskesrek FOK Undiksha dalam melakukan smash silang masih kurang maksimal.  Sementara itu, untuk bisa menjadi seorang pemain sepak takraw yang baik, mereka juga harus memiliki tingkat kemampuan motorik yang tinggi. Penelitian ini dirancang untuk menginvestigasi pengaruh strategi pembelajaran  dan kemampuan motorik terhadap keterampilan smash silang dalam permainan sepak takraw pada mahasiswa putra Jurusan Penjaskesrek FOK Undiksha. Jenis penelitian ini adalah eksperimen lapangan, ini didasarkan pada variabel serta tujuan yang ingin dicapai dalam penelitian. Desain yang dipergunakan adalah faktorial 2 x 2. Dengan teknik pengambilan sampel menggunakan proporsional random sampling. Tes yang digunakan adalah Instrumen  Barrow Motor Ability Test dan tes keterampilan dasar sepak takraw. Penelitian menyimpulkan: 1) Ada perbedaan antara  strategi pembelajaran driil dan  strategi bermain  terhadap keterampilan smash silang dalam permainan sepak takraw, 2) Ada perbedaan keterampilan smash silang dalam permainan  sepak takraw antara yang memiliki kemampuan motorik tinggi dan rendah, 3) Ada pengaruh interaksi antara strategi pembelajaran dan kemampuan motorik terhadap keterampilan smash dalam permainan  sepak takraw.
