In this study, a platform to develop remote control appliactions via bluetooth communication by using general purpose microcontroller boards and Adroid-based devices was designed. This system was designed to integrate easily into all kind of devices that was developed by students or manufacturers in especially biomedical area. In addition, it has an Android application. It is possible to transmit control statements wirelessly from a microcontroller board or an Android-based device to another microcontroller board via bluetooth. On the client-side board, there are PWM-driven led illumination control, servo motor control and four on-off relay controls. The implemented system is designed to use easily for educational purposes. Time saving from sofware design applications is aimed in this study.

Abstract The study aims for the development of a control system for D.C motors through an application made for Android mobile devices. The D.C motors are represented by a robot model car and the control application communicates with the system via Bluetooth technology. The Android mobile device user must install an application on his mobile device, then, the user must turn on the Bluetooth communication on the mobile device. The user can use various commands to control the robot model car such as front, back, stop, left, right. These commands are sent from the Android mobile device to the Bluetooth receiver, which is interfaced with the control system. The control system has a Bluetooth HC-06 receiver that receives commands from the control application and sends them to the Arduino Nano microcontroller to control the motors through two L298N drivers.

The computing power of smartphones has not received considerable attention in the mainstream education system. Most of the education-oriented smartphone applications (apps) are limited to general purpose services like Massive Open Online Courses (MOOCs), language learning, and calculators (performing basic mathematical calculations). Greater potential of smartphones lies in educators and researchers developing their customized apps for learners in highly specific domains. In line with this, we present Fluid Dynamics, a highly accurate Android application for measuring flow properties in compressible flows. This app can determine properties across the stationary normal and oblique shock, moving normal shock and across Prandtl $-$ Meyer expansion fan. This app can also measure isentropic flows, Fanno flows, and Rayleigh flows. The functionality of this app is also extended to calculate properties in the atmosphere by assuming the International Standard Atmosphere (ISA) relations and also flows across the Pitot tube. Such measurements are complicated and time-consuming since the relations are implicit and hence require the use of numerical methods, which give rise to repetitive calculations. The app is an efficient semi-implicit solver for gas dynamics formulations and uses underlying numerical methods for the computations in a graphical user interface (GUI), thereby easing and quickening the learning of concerned users. The app is designed for the Android operating system, the most ubiquitous and capable surveillance platform, and its calculations are based on JAVA based code methodology. In order to check its accuracy, the app's results are validated against the existing data given in the literature.

With the shaftless driving technology used in the packaging industry,servo motor control has become increasingly demanding. Beginning with the reasons of chattering, this article proposes a new sliding mode reaching law,adding a power attenuation term in front of the variable speed item,and then affects the shaftless gravure package printing chromatography system with PMSM as the actuator, improved servo motor speed range and efficency of the shaftless driving system.At last,the simulation results indicate the effectiveness of the proposed approach.

Vehicle robot drivers are widely used in automotive tests especial for some tests on automotive chassis dynamometer. However, China has less technology accumulations than west developed countries in the field of research and development of robot driver. In order to promote the developments of the domestic robot driver technology, a vehicle robot driver based on servo motor control was developed for automobile chassis dynamometer test, its system composition, functional features, and key technologies in developing process were expounded specifically in this paper.
