Abstract Distributed computing includes putting aside the data utilizing outsider storage and being able to get to this information from a place at any time. Due to the advancement of distributed computing and databases, high critical data are put in databases. However, the information is saved in outsourced services like Database as a Service (DaaS), security issues are raised from both server and client-side. Also, query processing on the database by different clients through the time-consuming methods and shared resources environment may cause inefficient data processing and retrieval. Secure and efficient data regaining can be obtained with the help of an efficient data processing algorithm among different clients. This method proposes a well-organized through an Efficient Secure Query Processing Algorithm (ESQPA) for query processing efficiently by utilizing the concepts of data compression before sending the encrypted results from the server to clients. We have addressed security issues through securing the data at the server-side by an encrypted database using CryptDB. Encryption techniques have recently been proposed to present clients with confidentiality in terms of cloud storage. This method allows the queries to be processed using encrypted data without decryption. To analyze the performance of ESQPA, it is compared with the current query processing algorithm in CryptDB. Results have proven the efficiency of storage space is less and it saves up to 63% of its space.

It is critical to obtain accurate flood extent predictions in a timely manner in order to reduce flood-related casualties and economic losses. Running a real-time flood inundation mapping model is a critical step in supporting quick flood response decisions. Most inundation systems, on the other hand, are either overly demanding in terms of data and computing power or have limited interaction and customization with various input and model configurations. This paper describes a client-side web-based real-time inundation mapping system based on the Height Above the Nearest Drainage (HAND) model. The system includes tools for hydro-conditioning terrain data, modifying terrain data, custom inundation mapping, online model performance evaluation, and hydro-spatial analyses. Instead of only being able to work on a few preprocessed datasets, the system is ready to run in any region of the world with limited data needs (i.e., elevation). With the system's multi-depth inundation mapping approach, we can use water depth measurements (sensor-based or crowdsourced) or model predictions to generate more accurate and realistic flood inundation maps based on current or future conditions. All of the system's functions can be performed entirely through a client-side web browser, without the need for GIS software or server-side computing. For decision-makers and the general public with limited technical backgrounds, the system provides a one-stop, easy-to-use flood inundation modeling and analysis tool.

Abstract: 3D city models enable us to gain a better grasp of how various city components interact with one another. Advances in geosciences now allow for the automatic creation of high-quality, realistic 3D city models. It is not limited to visualization and navigation, however, also for shadow and solar potential analysis. Solar radiation is an example of a 3D GIS tool that is in high demand. The calculation of solar radiation that reaches 3D objects can be simple, but the shadow effect of nearby buildings is a considerably more challenging issue because some facades or roofs are only partially shadowed. The present study is analyzed into two approaches. The first approach is considered as Visualization (client-side) approach to visualize the 3D city models on the website using NodeJS and CesiumJS. The second approach is considered as Analyzation (Server-side) approach to analyze the solar potential using python for faster processing and deeming the future development aspects.

Various processes are carried out in the Soil and Fertilizer Department of the Ministry of Agriculture at Granma's province in Cuba, including information management for investment approval. It becomes difficult due to the fact that it is carried out manually and through printed models, leading to insufficiencies in the personnel in charge of recording the information, difficulty in preserving relevant information and delay in the response process. In response to these needs, in this investigation, an informatics system is developed that will enrich the management of the information for the approval of investments of Soils and Fertilizers in Granma. For the development of the system was utilized as methodology of development of software Extreme Programming (XP). PHP 7.3.3 and SQL as server-side, client-side programming languages HTML 5, CSS 3, JavaScript and JQuery 1.2.2. APACHE 2.4.38 web application server, MySQL 5.0.12 as Database manager, CodeIgniter 3.1.10 as Framework and DBDesigner 4 as an aid to database modeling. As a result of investigation, a system validated by means of proofs of software was obtained, which vouch for his correct functioning.

During penetration testing of web applications, different tools are actively used to relieve the tester from repeating monotonous operations. The difficulty of the choice is in the fact that there are tools with similar functionality, and it is hard to define which tool is best to choose for a particular case. In this paper, a solution of the problem with making a choice by creating a Web service that will use a neural network on the server side is proposed. The neural network is trained on data obtained from experts in the field of penetration testing. A trained neural network will be able to select tools in accordance with specified requirements. Examples of the operation of a neural network trained on a small sample of data are shown. The effect of the number of neural network learning epochs on the results of work is shown. An example of input data is given, in which the neural network could not select the tool due to insufficient data for training. The advantages of the method shown are the simplicity of implementation (the number of lines of code is used as a metric) and the possibility of using opinions about tools from various experts. The disadvantages include the search for data for training, the need for experimental selection of the parameters of the neural network and the possibility of situations where the neural network will not be able to select tool that meets the specified requirements.

Augmented reality (AR) underpins many emerging mobile applications, but it increasingly requires more computation power for better machine understanding and user experience. While computation offloading promises a solution for high-quality and interactive mobile AR, existing methods work best for high-definition videos but cannot meet the real-time requirement for emerging 4K videos due to the long uploading latency. We introduce ACTOR, a novel computation-offloading framework for 4K mobile AR. To reduce the uploading latency, ACTOR dynamically and judiciously downscales the mobile video feed to be sent to the remote server. On the server-side, it leverages image super-resolution technology to scale back the received video so that high-quality object detection, tracking and rendering can be performed on the full 4K resolution. ACTOR employs machine learning to predict which of the downscaling resolutions and super-resolution configurations should be used, by taking into account the video content, server processing delay, and user expected latency. We evaluate ACTOR by applying it to over 2,000 4K video clips across two typical WiFi network settings. Extensive experimental results show that ACTOR consistently and significantly outperforms competitive methods for simultaneously meeting the latency and user-perceived video quality requirements.

The work is devoted to changing the structure of the software of the temperature calibration stand for organizing interaction with networked intelligent devices for spectral and thermal imaging control. On the basis of.Net technology and the C # programming language, a network service of the PSH-2035 source was created, which controls the current of the TRU-1100-2350 model temperature lamp. The service translates network messages with temperature values in ASCII commands of the source with the corresponding lampcurrent level and sends them for execution via the RS-232 interface. The reverse conversion allows the network client to obtain information about the current state of the lamp. The transfer of messages between the network service and the client is carried out using a unique protocol based on TCPtransport. The server side of the software uses the MySQL DBMS as an operator for a structured storage of batch jobs and a temperature lampoperation log, synchronizes its own computing platform with the world time system via the NTPprotocol and provides a GUID to a calibrated smart device for consistent identification of records in specialized databases. The stand software supports the multicast protocol for the simultaneous calibration of several devices.
