Foam concrete is a kind of air inflated lightweight concrete, which doesn’t contain coarse aggregate and can be regarded as an air inflated mortar. Foam concrete is made by adding foam into the cement slurry, the main use of foam in the cement mortar is to create air voids which act as a ball bearings inside the concrete mix. Foam is prepared by using foam generator or it can be made by sonication process of hydrogen peroxide. In this research work foam is formed by the sonication process of hydrogen peroxide separately then the foaming agent is diluted with water and air inflated to create the foam. Bottom ash from thermal power plant is collected and added in different proportions in the concrete mix to study the mechanical behaviour of the foam concrete. Mechanical properties such as compressive strength, split-tensile strength, flexural strength and thermal conductivity tests are carried out under controlled environment. The targeted design densities of all the specimens were expected to be 1600 kg/m3 . The binder to filler ratio used in this study is 1:1, with the sand being completely replaced with bottom ash and Fly ash.

The dependences of foam concrete properties on various factors, which are divided into 4 groups, are considered. The dependence of physical and mechanical properties on the properties of materials, conditions for maintaining foam concrete, on the brand and mineralogical composition of cement was revealed. Joint and separate methods of preparing a foam concrete mixture using pressure-chamber turbulence-cavitation mixers and modernized standard forced-action mortar mixers are considered. The importance of technological influence of temperature in foam concrete technology is determined. Methods of transportation of foam concrete mix, which also affect the properties of the material, are considered.

Chemical additives, namely, plasticizers and superplasticizers are effective modifiers of the concrete mix properties and structures. The additives allow to control properties of the concrete mix and to obtain its optimal structure, acting on the surface phenomena and microstructure of the cement paste. In the course of the study, the effect of introducing the superplasticizer SP-2VU into the concrete mix is studied. This allows to modify the construction and engineering properties of concrete. Analysis of the data obtained in determining the setting speed of the system based on cement and various concentrations of the regulator shows that the introduction of SP-2VU into the cement mortar leads to a significant slowdown in the process of setting the binder composition in comparison with additive-free cement, slowing the cement setting from ~ 2 hours to ~ 12.5 hours. In addition, the superplasticizer in an amount of up to 0.5 % contributes to some preservation of the cement mixture mobility to ~5 h, while in the absence of an additional composition - up to ~2.5 h. The SP-2VU (to a concentration of 0.7 %) increases the strength of modified concrete compared to conventional. Moreover, the optimal concentration of the additive (0.5 %) is established, which contributes to the set of the required speed of structure formation of the system and the formation of strong hardening structures with a more ordered, stable solidified structure and certain performance characteristics. At the same time, the strength of samples containing 0.5 % of the modifier in the concrete mixture increases by 40 %.

The analysis of present-time directions in the study of social development has allowed to identify the resource approach as the most productive one which enables to assess social dynamics through the range of resource characteristics of different population groups and abilities of the relevant groups to apply development resources in the current economic and institutional conditions. Basing on the sociological survey conducted by ISAP RANEPA, the quantitative estimation of material and social recourses of the population has been made; integral values of the resource potential have been calculated as well. The issues of social structure formation are analyzed through the aspect of resource availability; the barriers of Russian middle-class enlargement are defined.
