Резиме: Технологија идентификације путем радио-таласа (Radio Frequency Identifi cation - RFID) прeдстaвљa рeвoлуциoнaрни приступ у индустриjскoj кoнтрoли и имa вeлики пoтeнциjaл зa унaпрeђeњe прoдaje прaћeњeм диjeлoвa или циjeлих прoизвoдa крoз прoизвoдњу, склaдиштeњe, дистрибуциjу, тe нa крajу тoкoм циjeлoг лaнцa нaбaвкe (Landt, 2001). У рaду ћe бити прeдстaвљeни oснoвни кoнцeпти RFID систeмa, њихoвa улoгa у прeдузeћимa тргoвинскe дjeлaтнoсти и импликaциje нa пeрфoрмaнсe прoдaje. RFID систeми кoристe рaдиo-фрeквeнциje зa прeнoс пoдaтaкa из eлeктрoнских урeђaja дo читaчa, a зaтим читaч прoсљeђуje примљeнe пoдaткe кoнтрoлнoj jeдиници зa дaљу oбрaду. Oвe кoнтрoлнe jeдиницe мoгу бити пoвeзaнe сa ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning) и CRM (Customer Relationship Management) систeмимa. У дaнaшњeм дигитaлизoвaнoм свиjeту, тeхнoлoгиja идeнтификaциje путeм рaдиo-фрeквeнциja пoстaje глaвни нaчин дигитaлнe идeнтификaциje зa људe, живoтињe, прeдмeтe, згрaдe, и друго.Summary: Radio Frequency Identification (RFID) is a revolution in industrial control, because it has the potential to simplify and make more robust tracking of parts or part carriers through manufacture, storage, distribution, and at the end of the supply chain (Landt, 2001). RFID systems use radio waves to transfer data from electronic devices (TAG) to the reader, and then the reader forwards the received data to the control unit further processing. In today’s digitized world, radio frequency identification (RFID) is becoming a major way of digital identification for people, animals, objects, buildings, etc.

Using radio wave or radio frequency scanners to identify wirelessly any object is not so much complex in reality. The latest version of this technology is known as radio frequency identification or RFID. RFID has three building blocks: small tags built around microchips that carry a digital identification code; The RFID scanners also known as readers, the readers are also known as interrogators and networking hardware and the software to link scanners to the main computer databases that can be in hardware or cloud storage. In this project, we describe the implementation of RFID technology in the platform of asset management system in an organization. Using RFID technology track the all of the assets is the main aim of the project. The RFID interrogators open a serial port and then reads a RFID tag to use it as a unique parameter in the database to access and show the record associated to the RFID chip. Any change is wirelessly synchronized to the main database server.An admin will look after the whole server as an administration. If any new asset is introduced which is not in the main database, when the RFID scanner detects that the admin will get a notification message also in anyway if any asset will tamper by anything or anyone or if someone will try to steal any asset then again, the admin will get a notification message instantly.

Radio Frequency Identification (RFID) uses radio waves to track the movement of goods through the Supply Chain system. The identity of an object is captured with a unique serial number that is transmitted wirelessly to a computer system. Small businesses are facing RFID implementation barriers.  The barriers range from the perspective of the consumer-goods manufacturers and retail organizations.  We propose implementing RFID technology using cloud computing framework to alleviate or reduce the implementation cost which is the most prevalent barrier.

This paper gives an overview of the current state of radio frequency identification (RFID) technology. Aside from a brief introduction to the principles of the technology, major current and envisaged fields of application, as well as advantages, and limitations of use are discussed. Radio frequency identification (RFID) is a generic term that is used to describe a system that transmits the identity (in the form of a unique serial number) of an object or person wirelessly, using radio waves. It's grouped under the broad category of automatic identification technologies. RFID is increasingly used with biometric technologies for security. In this paper Basic Principles of RFID technology along with its types are discussed.

To evaluate whether the investments of e-logistics systems may increase financial risks, models of Bayesian networks are constructed in this study with the mechanism of structural learning and parameter learning. Empirical findings from the transport and logistics sectors suggest that the e-logistics investments generally do not increase the financial risks of companies except the implementation of computer aided picking systems and radio frequency identification. Meanwhile, only the investment of enterprise resource planning can reduce the financial risks and enhance the profitability at the same time. Generally speaking, most advanced e-logistics investments do not yield financial advantages for the transport and logistics companies from the perspective of Bayesian inference. Empirical study based on the proposed models also demonstrates the practicability of Bayesian models.

Radio Frequency Identification (RFID) has been widely used in different industries in recent years but its use in the aviation industry has been very limited. In this article, the use of RFID technology is explored in relationship to airlines’ maintenance operations. The main objectives of this article are to assess the current use of RFID in aviation maintenance and to evaluate future opportunities as well as the barriers to this technology in regards to airline maintenance operations. To this end, a survey of airlines was conducted in 2013. The results show that the airline industry has recently taken notice of RFID and that its use is growing. The results also show that airlines are facing several barriers for RFID implementations . They are: lack of knowledge, cost of Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) integration, cost of tags, lack of support from managers, and immaturity of technology. This research has also identified the categories of parts that can benefit the most from RFID.

Radio frequency identification (RFID) is a generic term that is used to describe a system that transmits the identity of an object or person wirelessly using radio waves (RFID Journal, 2005). It falls under the broad category of automatic identification technologies. RFID tags, in the simplest of terms, are “intelligent chips that can be embedded in or attached to a product to transmit descriptive data” (Gelinas, Sutton, & Fedorowicz, 2004, p. 6). According to the online RFID Journal (2005), there are several methods of identifying objects using RFID, including the most common of storing a serial number that identifies a product on a microchip that is attached to an RFID tag. RFID is not a new technology, but it has only recently been in the spotlight as more businesses are receiving press for putting the technology to work in their supply chains.

<span>The radio frequency identification (RFID), is a wireless technology system that is used for identifying an individual or objects through the means of radio waves that transfer information from an electronic tag, called an RFID tag. RFID consists of two main components the interrogator and the transponder. The Interrogator, which is the RFID reader, the interrogator usually transmits and receives the signal while the transponder that is the tag, is attached to the object. In the RFID system, an RFID reader interrogates the RFID tags. This tag reader generates a radio frequency interrogation, which communicates with the tags been registered in the system. This reader likewise has a receiver that captures a reply signal generated from the tags and decodes the signal. This reply signal from the tags reflects the tag's information content. Each tag of the employee or student consists of a unique identity, identification card (ID) that is assigned to a single employee or student ID card, which is recorded, in the database of the system. This research reviews some recent designs and implementation of internet of things (IoT) attendance systems using the concept of the RFID system. The analysis found that the RFID system is a very advanced technology for an automatic attendance system in an institution, organization, or university and it provides a very higher performance and accuracy than the traditional paper-based system that the employees or students normally used to sign. The use of the RFID technology enables the institution, authorities, or management to evade attendance documents from damages such as misplacement, tear, or even got lost. A combination of the model is needed which will confirm higher security, better performance, and consistency of the system.</span>
