This work is a SMS (Short Message Service) based tracking system, that uses a Global Positioning System (GPS) and GSM module which is installed in a secret part of the vehicle and is in charge of tracking the vehicle and sending the location of the vehicle in terms of coordinates to the GSM (Global System for Mobile communication) module. The GSM module receives the coordinates via SMS in which the information is sent to the owner of the vehicle or the police and the vehicle’s position can be located in a map with the aid of the Google Maps application. This work implements the foundation of GPS, GSM, and all other embedded systems, with the use of their concepts to produce a vehicle tracking device that is cheaper and more effective than other tracking device in the market today.

This article presents an electronic prototype for vehicle tracking based on GPS (Global Positioning System) location as a proposed solution to the problem of vehicle theft that affects the Oaxaca de Juarez municipality and its surrounding municipalities, according to statistics from the Office of the Prosecutor Specialized in High Impact Crimes, vehicle thefts have increased rapidly in recent years. The "V" diagram was used to make the prototype, which proposes a solution within reach of the owners of vehicles, since similar products require the device and the payment of a membership to follow up in real time. The prototype consists of an Arduino board, a GPS module, a communication module for sending SMS (Short Message Service) messages, an accelerometer to detect vehicle movements and other components that are required for the operation of the complete circuit. The program has been developed in C language for Arduino and a free application of GoogleMaps is being used to send the location of the vehicle when detecting any vehicle movement

Nowadays security is the most common problem in door locking system. Anyone can break the door using hard objects and make a robbery of the home, offices and any other properties. This can lead to huge loss for the human economy. In this paper we are proposing a model, in which we used to lock and open the entryway utilizing the google help over the voice and stun IoT board and stun IoT application. The existing system rely on microcontroller, Global System for Mobile (GSM) , GPS(Global Positioning System), various sensors, programming like MATLAB, biometric face affirmation, Iris scanner, RFID(Radio frequency identification ) technology [6], smart card and mystery express etc. In a colossal fragment of frameworks, Short Message Service (SMS) approach is utilized for correspondence so the structure, it requires some test to pass on message.

This paper deals with research and development of Vehicle Monitoring and Security System which is GPS based vehicle tracking system used for security applications. It uses two main underlying concepts. These are GPS (Global Positioning System) and GSM (Global System for Mobile Communication). The main application of this system is tracking the vehicle to which the GPS is connected, giving the information about its position whenever required and for the security of each person travelling by the vehicle. This is done with the help of the GPS satellite and the GPS module attached to the vehicle which needs to be tracked. The GPS antenna present in the GPS module receives the information from the GPS satellite in NMEA (National Marine Electronics Association) format and thus it reveals the position information. This information got from the GPS antenna has to be sent to the Base station wherein it is decoded. For this GSM module is used which has an antenna too. Thus we have at the Base station; the complete data about the vehicle. Along with tracking the vehicle, the system is used for security applications as well. Each passenger/employee will have an ID of their own and will be using a remote containing key for Entry, Exit and Panic. The Panic button is used by the driver or the passenger so as to alert the concerned of emergency conditions. On pressing this button, an alarm will be activated which will help the passenger/employee in emergencies and keep them secure throughout the journey. The vehicle can also be immobilized remotely.

A vehicle tracking system is very useful for tracking the movement of a vehicle from any location at any time. An efficient vehicle tracking system is designed and implemented for tracking the movement of any equipped vehicle from any location at any time. The proposed system made good use of popular technology that combines a smartphone with an Arduino UNO. This easy to make and inexpensive compared to others. The designed in vehicle device works using Global Positioning System (GPS) and Global System for Mobile Communication(GSM) technology that is one of the most common ways for vehicle tracking. The device is embedded inside a vehicle those positions is to be determined and tracked in real time. A vehicle tracking system is an electronic device installed in a vehicle to enable the owner or a third party to track the vehicle's location. This paper proposed to design a vehicle tracking system that works using GPS and GSM technology, which would be the cheapest source of vehicle tracking and it would work as anti-theft system. It is an embedded system which is used for tracking and positioning of any vehicle by using Global Positioning System (GPS) and Global system for mobile communication (GSM). An Arduino UNO is used to control the GPS receiver and GSM module. The vehicle tracking system uses the GPS module to get geographic coordinates at regular time interval. The GSM module is used to transmit and update the vehicle location to a database. This paper gives minute by minute update about vehicle location by sending SMS through GSM modem. This SMS contain latitude and longitude of the location of vehicle. Arduino UNO gets the coordinates from GPS modem and then it sends this information to user in text SMS. GSM modem is used to send this information via SMS sent to the owner of the vehicle. Location is displayed on LCD. And then Google map displays location and name of the place on cell phone. Thus, user able to continuously monitor a moving vehicle on demand using smartphone and determine the estimated distance and time for the vehicle to arrive at a given destination.

Abstract— Vehicle tracking system using GPS and GPRS integration googlemap provide information that is maximized with the technology of GPS (Global Positioning System) receiver which can indicate the position of the vehicle with the map and the ability of the appointment of direction and position coordinates (x, y or latitude, longitude) textually and visual at any location. Vehicle tracking system is built using equipment GIS (Geographic Information System) and dedicated to smartphones which support Global Positioning System (GPS), as well as portable computers, using General Packet Radio Service (GPRS) as a connection to the internet. The hardware used is a smartphone that supports GPS with supporting tools used are GoogleMaps, Notepad + +, NetBeans IDE 6.5.1, Mysql, Java (J2ME), PHP, JavaScript. The results of this system in the form of tracking system capable of monitoring the movement of vehicles on an ongoing position by utilizing GPS and GPRS as the sender of the wireless data and Internet connections.  Keywords— GIS, GPS, GPRS, googlemaps, J2ME,

Air transport is the fastest way to reach areas with no direct land routes for ambulances. This paper presents the development of a quadcopter-based rapid response unit in an efficient aerial aid system to eliminate the delay time for first aid supplies. The system comprises a health monitoring and calling system for a field person working in open areas and a base station with the quadcopter. In an uncertain situation, the quadcopter is deployed from the base station towards the field person for immediate help through the specified path using constant Global System for Mobile (GSM)- and Global Positioning System (GPS)-based connections. The entire operation can be monitored at the base station with a Virtual Reality (VR) head-tracking system supported by a smartphone. The camera installed on the quadcopter is synchronized with the operator’s head movement while wearing a VR head-tracking system at the base station. Moreover, an Infrared (IR)-based obstacle-evasion model is implemented separately to explain the working of the autonomous collision-avoidance system. The system was tested, which confirmed the reduction in the response time to supply aid to the desired locations.
