Heterogeneous Feature Analysis on Twitter Data Set for Identification of Spam Messages

Spam is an undesirable content that present on online social networking sites, while spammers are the users who post this content on social networking sites. Unwanted messages posted on Twitter may have several goals and the spam tweets can interfere with statistics presented by Twitter mining tools and squander users’ attention.. Since Twitter has achieved a lot of attractiveness through-out the world, the interest towards it by the spammers and malevolent users is also increases. To overcome the spam problems many researchers proposed ideas using machine learning algorithms for the identification of spam messages. Not only the selection of classifiers but also the variegated feature analysis is essential for the identification of irrelevant messages in social networks. The proposed model performs a heterogeneous feature analysis on the twitter data streams for classifying the unsolicited messages using binary and continuous feature extraction with sentiment analysis on social network datasets. The features created are assessed using significant stratagems and the finest features are selected. A classifier model is built using these feature vectors to predict and identify the spam messages in Twitter. The experimental results clearly show that the proposed Sentiment Analysis based Binary and Continuous Feature Extraction model with Random Forest (SA-BC-RF) approach classifies the spam messages from the social networks with an accuracy of 90.72% when compared with the other state-of-the-art methods.

Image Feature Analysis and Dynamic Measurement of Plantar Pressure Based on Fusion Feature Extraction

Footprint recognition and parameter measurement are widely used in fields like medicine, sports, and criminal investigation. Some results have been achieved in the analysis of plantar pressure image features based on image processing. But the common algorithms of image feature extraction often depend on computer processing power and massive datasets. Focusing on the auxiliary diagnosis and treatment of foot rehabilitation of foot laceration patients, this paper explores the image feature analysis and dynamic measurement of plantar pressure based on fusion feature extraction. Firstly, the authors detailed the idea of extracting image features with a fusion algorithm, which integrates wavelet transform and histogram of oriented gradients (HOG) descriptor. Next, the plantar parameters were calculated based on plantar pressure images, and the measurement steps of plantar parameters were given. Finally, the feature extraction effect of the proposed algorithm was verified, and the measured results on plantar parameters were obtained through experiments.

Afua Kuma’s Prayers and Praises as Evidence of a Vibrant Primal Substructure in African Christianity

Following from the assertion that there exists a symbiosis between Christianity and the Primal Substructure in Africa, this paper sets out to examine Afua Kuma’s Jesus of the Deep Forest using Harold Turner’s six feature analysis of primal religions. It focuses on how Afua Kuma’s poetry builds upon the six features of the primal worldview with her new insights from the Christian faith. The author argues that this is evidence of the vibrant primal substructure in African Christianity. Soft Sensor Development Based on Quality-Relevant Slow Feature Analysis and Bayesian Regression with Application to Propylene Polymerization

Data-driven soft sensors are widely used to predict quality indices in propylene polymerization processes to improve the availability of measurements and efficiency. To deal with the nonlinearity and dynamics in propylene polymerization processes, a novel soft sensor based on quality-relevant slow feature analysis and Bayesian regression is proposed in this paper. The proposed method can handle the dynamics of the process better by extracting quality-relevant slow features, which present both the slowly varying characteristic and the correlations with quality indices. Meanwhile, a Bayesian inference model is developed to predict the quality indices, which takes advantages of a probability framework with iterative maximum likelihood techniques for parameter estimation and a sparse constraint for avoiding overfitting. Finally, a case study is conducted with data sampled from a practical industrial propylene polymerization process to demonstrate the effectiveness and superiority of the proposed method.
