Symptom und Signal, Ausdruck und Steuerung in der vorsprachlichen Sozialregulation

Der Text rekonstruiert Kontinuitäten und Brüche in der von Karl Bühler in seiner Krise der Psychologie (1927) und seiner Ausdruckstheorie (1933) hinterlassenen präkybernetischen Axiomatik der Interaktion anhand der gegenwärtigen psychologischen Debatten über Emotionsund Affektausdruck. Die These lautet: Im Kern operieren moderne Psychologen wie der Tierverhaltensforscher Frans de Waal, die konstruktivistische Neuropsychologin Lisa Feldman Barrett und der kulturhistorische Psychologe Michael Tomasello beinahe 100 Jahre später noch weitgehend auf der von Bühler umrissenen Grundlage.

Jornalismo Literário: afeto e vínculo em narrativas

Este trabalho traça um paralelo entre os conceitos de afeto e vínculo com as narrativas do Jornalismo Literário. Por meio da revisão de literatura contextualizamos afeto e vínculo tomando como referencial teórico a obrade pesquisadores brasileiros da área da Comunicação, como Jorge Miklos, José Eugênio de Oliveira Menezes, MalenaContrera, Monica Martinez, Muniz Sodré e NorvalBaitello Junior, entre outros. Buscamos, ainda, as definições dos conceitos por um viés interdisciplinar que engloba a Sociologia e a Antropologia, com Edgar Morin; a Etologia, com Boris Cyrulnik e Frans de Waal;a Filosofia, com Baruch Spinoza,Giordano Bruno e Martin Buber; e a Psicologia Analítica, com Carl Gustav Jung e VerenaKast. Para contextualizar o Jornalismo Literário recorremos principalmente aos pesquisadores John Bak e Monica Martinez. Compreendemos que os afetos e os vínculos são bases essenciais do Jornalismo Literário, uma vez que a humanização é um elemento importante desta modalidade narrativa. Nesse aspecto, o Jornalismo Literário representa um convite para o leitor ir ao encontro tanto do outro (tu) quanto dele mesmo (eu). Este encontro permitiria apreender as experiências da vida para aprender com elas a complexidade do mundo que nos cerca.

Afterword The Arts of Empathy

This Afterword argues that the moral practices of resentment, apology, and forgiveness all have particular meaning for what has been called, by both primatologist Frans de Waal and economist Jeremy Rifkin, the contemporary “age of empathy.” De Waal focuses on biological evolution to show how our empathy is producing a “kinder society,” Rifkin examines social evolutions in the harnessing of energy and the production of communication patterns tied to those energy regimes to show how moments in our past may help us see that our trajectory is inexorably leading us to a “global consciousness.” Empathy is in our nature and in our history, and a product of our nature and our history—and, in either case, an aspect of who we are as individuals and what we are as a society or world.
