Aim. To evaluate the forensic application values of 19 autosomal short tandem repeat (STR) loci in canines. Methods. The 19 STR loci in two canine groups (Pembroke Welsh Corgis, n = 200 ; Shiba Inus, n = 175 ) were analysed by the capillary electrophoresis platform. The allele frequencies and forensic parameters were calculated, and the genetic relationships between these two canine groups and a previously reported Labrador group were analysed. Results. These two canine groups conformed to the Hardy-Weinberg equilibrium at all STRs except for locus VGL3438 in the Pembroke Welsh Corgi group, and there was no linkage disequilibrium among pairwise loci at the 19 STRs. All STRs were polymorphic in the Pembroke Welsh Corgi and Shiba Inu groups, of which the locus C38 had the highest polymorphism. And it was found that the genetic relationship between the Pembroke Welsh Corgi and Labrador groups were closer in the three canine groups (Pembroke Welsh Corgi, Shiba Inu and Labrador). Conclusion. The 19 STR loci had high genetic polymorphisms and forensic application values in Pembroke Welsh Corgi and Shiba Inu groups.

Its composition and dynamics, together with its presence in a specific location, are key to its subsequent forensic application. For this reason, it was studied the entomosarcosaprophagous fauna associated with a carcass in a wild mountainous area of the province of Murcia (SE, Spain). The species Chrysomya albiceps, Calliphora vicina and C. vomitoria were the most valuables species as seasonal indicators. These species, together with Dermestes frischii, Camponotus sylvaticus and those of the Chalcidoidea superfamily, define a clear pattern of colonization that varies according to the season of the year. Finally, the species Iberoformica subrufa may be of potential use as habitat indicator of the studied area.

Mexico is a rich source for anthropological and population genetic studies with high diversity in ethnic and linguistic groups. The country witnessed the rise and fall of major civilizations, including the Maya and Aztec, but resulting from European colonization, the population landscape has dramatically changed. Today, the majority of Mexicans do not identify themselves as Indigenous but as admixed, and appear to have very little in common with their pre-Columbian predecessors. However, when the maternally inherited mitochondrial (mt)DNA is investigated in the modern Mexican population, this is not the case. Control region sequences of 2021 samples deriving from all over the country revealed an overwhelming Indigenous American legacy, with almost 90% of mtDNAs belonging to the four major pan-American haplogroups A2, B2, C1, and D1. This finding supports a very low European contribution to the Mexican gene pool by female colonizers and confirms the effectiveness of employing uniparental markers as a tool to reconstruct a country’s history. In addition, the distinct frequency and dispersal patterns of Indigenous American and West Eurasian clades highlight the benefit such large and country-wide databases provide for studying the impact of colonialism from a female perspective and population stratification. The importance of geographical database subsets not only for forensic application is clearly demonstrated.

The key concepts of digital forensic investigation in cloud computing are examination and investigation. Cybercriminals target cloud-based web applications due to presence of vulnerabilities. Forensic investigation is a complex process, where a set of activities are involved. The cloud log history plays an important role in the investigation and evidence collection. The existing model in cloud log information requires more security. The proposed model used for forensic application with the assurance of cloud log that helps the digital and cloud forensic investigators for collecting forensic scientific evidences. The cloud preservation and cloud log data encryption method is implemented in java. The real-time dataset, network dataset results tell that attacks with the highest attack type are generic type, and a case conducted chat log will predict the attacks in advance by keywork antology learning process, NLP, and AI techniques.
