The nonlinear splitting of magnetoelastic resonance line in powerfully excited ferrite is investigated. It is shown that the amplitude of splited resonance has the same order of value that the amplitude of basis resonance and its frequency is determined by the upper boundary of nonlinear amplitude-frequency characteristic of magnetic system. It is found the threshold character of splitting additional resonance from general. It is determined the possibility of operation of splited elastic resonance frequency by changing of exited magnetic field value which has practical importance.

Abstract This work reports pressure-broadening line-wing and line-core of the lithium Li (2p ← 2s) resonance line perturbed by ground sodium Na (3s) atoms. In far-wing region the calculations are performed quantum-mechanically and are intended to examine the photoabsorption coefficients at diverse temperatures. The results show the existence of three satellites, in the blue wing near the wavelengths 470nm and in the red wing around 862 and 1070nm. For the line-core region, by adopting the simplified Baranger model the line-width and line-shift rates are determined and their variation law with temperature is examined. No published data were found to compare these results with.

The paper deals with the influence on the parameters of the discharge in cesium – mercury – xenon vapor-gas mixture returned back to the plasma of the self-radiation of a gas-discharge lamp. The transformation of the radiation spectrum and the formation of a plasma channel upon reaching the quasi-stationary stage have been studied. As a result of studying the self-reversal of the resonance line of cesium, the decisive role of the increase in the vapor pres-sure of the plasma-forming medium on the change in the characteristics of the plasma has been proved.

Variations of microwave transmission coefficient through Fe films and Fe/Cr superlattices have been studied caused by ferromagnetic resonance at frequencies from 26 to 38 GHz. The shape of resonance line is described in frames of the model where its asymmetry is obtained by adding of lorenzian dispersion line to the absorption line. It has been shown that the shape of resonance line for superlattices with continuous Fe and Cr layers and also for Fe films is well described in this model. For the superlattices with thin Fe or Cr layers only qualitative agreement is observed. In magnetic fields less than the field of ferromagnetic resonance, essential distinction is observed of experimental magnetic field dependence of transmission coefficient comparing to the model, for superlattices which have giant magnetoresistive effect.
