Background: The widespread use of the iron nanopowders connected with widely range of characteristics such as size, magnetic characteristics and high surface area and that is why in the literature are present many researches of its different applications. Objective: The work studies the influence of the conditions of the iron wire electrical explosion on the course of the explosion process and the dispersed composition of the resulting metal nanopoweder. Method: Experiments on electrical explosion of iron wires were carried out in the laboratory setup with the different initial conditions of electrical explosion of the iron wire. Results: The influence of the initial wire electrical explosion conditions on the explosion regime, the specific energy input into the conductor, and the specific energy released in the arc stage of discharge are definitely determined. The empirical equations for calculation of the initial wire electrical explosion conditions for providing the critical explosion in the argon medium at a pressure of 2·105 Pa were defined. It has been established that for synthesis of iron nanopowders with a narrow particle size distribution, it is preferable to use modes with a high level of the energy released in the arc stage of the discharge. Conclusion: It was found that disabling the arc stage of the discharge during EEW leads to the decreasing of the average surface particle size by 50%.

<p>PT Iron Wire Work Indonesia memiliki permasalahan pada  penempatan mesin produksi <em>Cold Finished Bar</em> yang tidak sesuai dengan urutan kedekatan dalam proses produksinya dan metode pemindahan yang tidak terencana. Hal ini berdampak pada  pola aliran produksi dan besarnya besarnya waktu perpindahan material. Penelitian ini bertujuan merancang model simulasi Promodel untuk evaluasi  perbaikan tata letak lantai produksi <em>Cold Finished Bar</em>. Perbaikan Tata letak lantai produksi dilakukan dengan menggunakan metode <em>Systematic Layout Planning (SLP).  </em>Penelitian ini terdiri dari 4 tahapan utama  yaitu analisis sistem saat ini, merancang model simulasi, Promodel merancang perbaikan tata letak lantai produksidengan SLP, dan mengevaluasi perbaikan dengan Simulasi.  Hasil perbakan Tata Letak<em> dengan SLP </em> menghasilkan dua alternatif iterasi <em>blockplan</em> dan tujuh skenario usulan perbaikan. Setiap usulan skenario perbaikan dievaluasi berdasarkan indikator waktu produksi.  Waktu produksi dalam penelitian ini didefinisikan sebagai waktu proses pembuatan Cold Finished Bar ditambah dengan waktu perpindahan. Hasil simulasi menunjukkan bahwa skenario keenam dengan perbaikan layout BlockPlan alternatif 2 ditambang dengan  satu unit shotblasting machine sebagai usulan terbaik dengan waktu produksi sebesar 273,4 jam dan persentase penurunan waktu proses produksi sebesar 25,71% dari model awal. Penurunan waktu produksi ini diharapkan dapat meningkatkan pencapaian target produksi perusahaan.</p>

<p>Photoacoustic tomography imaging research has been conducted to distinguish several types of materials. The photoacoustic tomography imaging system used in this study uses a diode laser as a source of radiation and a condenser microphone as a detection tool. The sample is a combination of two types of materials, namely plasticine + iron wire, plasticine + cardboard, plasticine + mica plastic, and mica plastic + cardboard. Optimum setting of laser modulation frequency and duty cycle system to distinguish images from plasticine samples + iron wire and plasticine + cardboard, i.e., 19 kHz and 50%, while to recognize images from plasticine samples + mica plastic and mica plastic + cardboard, which is 19.5 kHz and 50%. The photoacoustic tomography image system used can detect and image the sample clearly, the striking color difference between one material, and another shows the difference in sound intensity.</p>

Utilization of fishery resources of squid through fishing activities is time to be accompanied by regulation of arrest and cultivation activities covering the effort of hatchery (hatchery) and release to nature. This effort can improve the damage of squid resources as it can be done to enrich the stock to improve and sustain the resources of the squid. One of the most important factors to support the cultivation of squid is egg supply and spawning success. The Rigaih area of Aceh Jaya Regency is one of the most diverse squid stock areas and is captured by local traditional fishermen every day. But until now there has been no cultivation and other activities related to maintaining the sustainability of squid. The purpose of this service is the difference of the type and depth of the waters where the installation of the attor to the attachment of squid eggs using black iron coated iron wire and the ijok rope tie in the waters of Rigaih Aceh Jaya Regency. The results obtained are the number of capsules produced in one spawning range 57 to 601 with the number of eggs contained in it as much as 124 to 1421 grains.
