In this paper, we introduce the concepts of $\mathcal{I}$ and $\mathcal{I^{*}}-$convergence of sequences in gradual normed linear spaces. We study some basic properties and implication relations of the newly defined convergence concepts. Also, we introduce the notions of $\mathcal{I}$ and $\mathcal{I^{*}}-$Cauchy sequences in the gradual normed linear space and investigate the relations between them.

In this research paper, the authors present a new mixed Euler-Lagrange σ -cubic-quartic functional equation. For this introduced mixed type functional equation, the authors obtain general solution and investigate the various stabilities related to the Ulam problem in Felbin’s type of fuzzy normed linear space (f-NLS) with suitable counterexamples. This approach leads us to approximate the Euler-Lagrange σ -cubic-quartic functional equation with better estimation.

This paper generalizes the special case of the Carlsson orthogonality in terms of the 2-HH norm in real normed linear space. Dragomir and Kikianty (2010) proved in their paper that the Pythagorean orthogonality is unique in any normed linear space, and isosceles orthogonality is unique if and only if the space is strictly convex. This paper deals with the complete proof of the uniqueness of the new orthogonality through the medium of the 2-HH norm. We also proved that the Birkhoff and Robert orthogonality via the 2-HH norm are equivalent, whenever the underlying space is a real inner-product space.

A picture fuzzy n-normed linear space (NPF), a mixture of a picture fuzzy set and an n-normed linear space, is a proficient concept to cope with uncertain and unpredictable real-life problems. The purpose of this manuscript is to present some novel contractive conditions based on NPF. By using these contractive conditions, we explore some fixed point theorems in a picture fuzzy n-Banach space (BPF). The discussed modified results are more general than those in the existing literature which are based on an intuitionistic fuzzy n-Banach space (BIF) and a fuzzy n-Banach space. To express the reliability and effectiveness of the main results, we present several examples to support our main theorems.

In the present article, the Schauder-type fixed point theorem for the class of fuzzy continuous, as well as fuzzy compact operators is established in a fuzzy normed linear space (fnls) whose underlying t-norm is left-continuous at (1,1). In the fuzzy setting, the concept of the measure of non-compactness is introduced, and some basic properties of the measure of non-compactness are investigated. Darbo’s generalization of the Schauder-type fixed point theorem is developed for the class of ψ-set contractions. This theorem is proven by using the idea of the measure of non-compactness.

AbstractSome differentiability results from the paper of D.Ş. Marinescu & M. Monea [7] on delta-convex mappings, obtained for real functions, are extended for mappings with values in a normed linear space. In this way, we are nearing the completion of studies established in papers [2], [5] and [7].

In the present paper, we focus our attention on the existence of the fixed point for the sum of the cyclic contraction and the noncyclic accretive operator. Also, we study the best proximity point for the sum of two non-self-mappings. Moreover, we provide the existence of the best proximity point for the cyclic contraction through the notion of the nonlinear D-set contraction. Finally, we give the existence of the best proximity point for the sum of the nonlinear D-set contraction mapping and partially completely continuous mapping in the setting of the partially ordered complete normed linear space.
